Everyone's eyes widened.

"You were expelled? From where?" Shinsou asks. I look at him, smiling sadly.

She's so wonderful. How did she get expelled?

"From U.A."

"No way! I didn't even know you went here!" Mirio exclaims.

"I did. I was a year below you actually."

"That's crazy, I never noticed you!" Nejire exclaimed, here eyes a mix of concern and wonder.

"I wasn't that noticeable. Mostly stayed in the background." I explained.

"Would you all shut up?! Let (L/N) tell the story, dumb asses." Bakugo says, pulling a chair under him and sitting down.

"I thought we weren't kids Bakugo." Sero retorts, sitting on the floor beside him.

"Guys, just let (Y/N) tell her story please. I'm invested in the story line." Mina says.

"There's no story line to be invested in yet, she hasn't started the story." Tokoyami says stoically.

"Go ahead (Y/N). We're listening." Izuku tells me. By now, everyone's sitting down and quiet, staring up at me.

I pull a chair over for me to sit on.

"Well, in middle school, no one thought I could do it. Get into U.A. But my parents were pushy, and they wanted a hero child. So they forced me to train and go to the entrance exams." I swallowed hard. This story was never really easy to tell.

"The exam was a breeze. I mean come on, giant robots and a girl whose brain is literally a computer? It was a match made in heaven. I breezed by, getting third in the exam.

"On the first day, I woke up early and left for school. That's when I met Aizawa for the first time. I got to my homeroom, room 1-A, and sat in the back and started to read."

"Scared me half to death. I thought she was a villain." Aizawa adds, making a few people snicker.

"Then everyone started to show. A few talked to me, but after learning my quirk, they were supportive, but a bit judge mental. Once everyone arrived, we walked out to the training grounds for a quirk apprehension test. Aizawa claimed he would expel anyone in last place. I, being me, completely bombed the test. My quirk is made for the mind," I said, tapping my temple, "not the body." I pressed my palm to chest.

"I had good scores, don't get me wrong, but they were considered good for someone not using their quirk." I laughed a bit.

"So, Aizawa pulls up the scores. I see my name in last place, and I'm scared because my parents are gonna beat my ass if I get expelled." I look at Aizawa and see that he's been staring at me for a while.

"This man, this absolute lunatic," everyone laughs at that, "expels the whole class. Except for me."

"What?"

"No way!"

"You can't say you guys didn't see that coming."

"He's crazy! I'm sure of it!"

"I saw something in her," everyone quiets down, "that I didn't see in anyone else. Everyone else in your class was showing off their quirks. You exhibited mental strength."

I nod. "That's exactly what he told me. So I was in a class of one. Nezu covered it up, saying all Class 1-A students had been expelled to avoid backlash from parents. The year went on, until of course, the end of the year.

"That's when the first letter came."

"Letter?" Kaminari asked aloud.

Mina elbowed him hard. "Shh!"

"Ow."

"The letter was addressed to me, a threat. If I didn't leave U.A., something terrible would happen. It wasn't signed, had no return address. I found it in our mail, just my name on the envelope. So, I took it straight to Aizawa. At this point, for all the public knew, I was in General Studies. At the Sports Festival and other public engagements, I was '(L/N)    (Y/N), from First Year General Studies!'" I exclaimed, mimicking Present Mic. We all laughed.

"Aizawa brought it to Nezu, who amped up security ten-fold and told me to report to him if any more letters came. They did. Another to me. At this point, Nezu ordered me to have a guard that watched over me at all times. He even walked me home. Ivan was a nice man, I learned Russian from him. Then there was a flood of letters. To me, to Aizawa, to Present Mic, to my other teachers, to Nezu. Ivan got one for god's sake!" I sighed, collecting myself.

"Then break came. The letters stopped, and I was finally able to relax. My second year started, and all was well. Not a single letter came, not one. I'm still alone on my class, and I was close to all my teachers. Then, finally, a letter comes. But not to us. It goes straight the news. And they ate it up.

"The letter went viral, and it was out. I was being targeted by an up and coming villain organization, and parents and press were hard on Nezu's ass. Parents no longer felt safe with their children going to U.A., and threatened to withdraw their children from the school if I wasn't expelled.

"So, I was expelled. I didn't take it too hard, I understood. But that doesn't mean that I wasn't completely crushed. So I was enrolled at a normal high school where no one recognized me. U.A. covered the scandal up, and I continued to speak and keep in touch with my old teachers." I sighed and smiled.

"I decided that I wanted to study law and be a lawyer. So I studied hard. I worked hard at it, trying to impress my parents, which was a lost cause by the way, and finally, after two years of law school I got my degree. After my first case, I gained local fame. People knew about me, which was a first.

"But me being the indecisive piece of shit I am-" Aizawa elbows me.

"Watch your language, you're talking about my favorite person." He says. I smile and laugh.

"I then decided to go into law enforcement. And my life was calm until I got a rapist case about two weeks ago. That's when I met Bakugo, and he led me to meet most of you. And I'm that much happier because of it."

Everyone coos at my statement, reaching over to hug me. Mina cries into my shoulder.

"You didn't deserve it! It wasn't your fault!" She exclaimed, voice muffled.

"I know, I know." I say, rubbing her back.

"Wait, have you gotten a letter since?" Ojiro asks from the corner he had been thinking in.

"Not one. I'll bet you 10,000 Yen that they had eyes on me for months after that. Maybe even now." He nods.

"I'm so sorry you're career at U.A. ended that way." He says, eyes softening.

"I'm not that upset about it anymore. If I hadn't of been expelled, I wouldn't be where I am today."

"I'm proud of you kid." Aizawa says.

"I think we all are," Yaoyorozu states, "you're so strong."

"You are." Todoroki says, staring at me. He had been staring at me the whole time, looking almost as if he were living a dream.

"We're here if you ever want to talk about anything!" Sero exclaims, putting a hand on my shoulder.

"Of course we are!" Iida says, eyes bright.

"You all are to kind." I say simply, looking down. I was smiling, happy, yet embarrassed.

"We're here for you, no doubt!" Mirio exclaims.

"Yea-yeah." Tamaki stammers, and smiles at me. His smile was small and bright, like a shiny coin.

"We're all here for you, (Y/N)." Midoriya says. He stands tall, his shoulders wide, his smile wider. He looks like he's about to cry. I walk over and wrap my arms around his neck, putting my head in his hair.

"Thank you."
