I crouched beside the bird hero, putting my fingers to his neck. I felt his artery pulse under his skin, indicating he was in fact alive.

I sat down near his legs, lifting up his cloak as little as I could.

So he does wear stuff under the cloak. Huh.

I felt up and down his legs for any injuries, not finding anything.

I couldn't get his cloak up past his hips without lifting him up, so I swallowed my pride and shoving my hand up the cloak and felt around his chest for anything.

Slacks and a muscle shirt? That's what he wears under the cloak? Damn, birds have abs.

"Everything feels normal," I muttered to myself as I felt his arms.

I gently lifted up his head, feeling the back of it.

His feathers are all out of place on the back of his head. Is that just from laying down like this?

"Tsukuyomi?" I asked, patting his cheek. "Tsukuyomi?"

Tokoyami groaned slightly and turned his head.

"Hey! Tsukuyomi! It's me, it's Agent (L/N). You passed out during a fight, can you hear me?" He groaned again, squeezing his eyes shut.

He coughed, hand flying up to cover his beak.

"(L/N)?" He groaned out, propping himself up on his elbows. His voice was hoarse and ragged. Almost like he had a sore throat. I pulled his cloak down again, covering his legs back up.

"It's me, don't push yourself. I don't think you're hurt anywhere, not as far as I can see. Do you have any idea where you are?" I asked, leaning over him and trying to look in his eyes.

"I was helping Ojiro," he started, "with a fight."

"Good, that's good, that's what's happening right now. Then what happened?" I asked, watching him intently as he rubbed his eyes.

"I was weak because it was mid day, and a villain approached me." He started explaining, looking around for the first time.

"It's still happening isn't it? Let me up, I have to help." He said in hurry, grabbing my arm to try and get out from under it.

I leaned on my arm more, putting my other hand on his shoulder.

"I can't let you, Tsukuyomi. Please, stay still."

"Why not? They need my help!" He exclaimed, looking back at me. "Agent!"

"Listen to me. You passed out in the middle of a fight, why? Try to remember." I commanded, searching his eyes.

Are his pupils dilated?

"I was fighting that villain and she- she grabbed my neck..." he trailed off, looking at the ground. He looked panicked.

"Hey, look at me. What's the date?" I asked.

He stuttered, looking back up at me.

What's the date? What's today's date?

He cringed, looking down again and putting his hands on the sides of his head.

"Why is it so loud? What's ringing?" He pleaded.

He's hearing things. Nothing's ringing.

"Does your head hurt Tsukuyomi? Do you have a headache?" I put my hand on the back of his neck, my thumb under his jaw. I made him look up at me, but he still avoided my gaze.

He groaned at whatever ringing he heard, hands still on the sides of his head.

"She slammed your head against something didn't she? The villain? She gave you a concussion." I concluded, still trying to get him to look at me.

"I- I- I can't remember." He said, sounding miserable.

"Ok, I want you to do something for me, yeah? Just look at me, look at my eyes ok?" Tokoyami slowly looked up at me and I looked at both his eyes, assuring that his pupils were dilated.

Shit. I can't heal a concussion unless the head is cut open and the skull is visible. His skin is intact thank god, but it means I can't heal him.

"Ok, Tsukuyomi, I'm gonna need you to sit up against the wall, ok?" He nodded slowly and I helped him over to the wall, sitting him against it.

"Ok, you have a concussion, that much is clear. I don't know how severe it is, but no matter what, you can't fight today, ok?" I said, looking at his eyes. It was hard with his beak in the way.

I can't give up. Not now, not ever.

"But I have to fight, it's my job as a hero." He protested.

"I know Tsuku. But you can't. It's too dangerous. You could get hurt worse and maybe never be able to fight again. Do you understand?" I asked.

"I can't just sit and do nothing!" He exclaimed, "I have to be a hero!"

"I know honey, I know, but you can't fight. You might get dizzy and hurt yourself, you can't fight properly right now." He looked as if he was about to cry at the idea of not being able to fight.

"Then Dark Shadow can fight for me!"

"Can I see Dark Shadow?" I asked gently and the dark being emerged from the hero's gut. "Hey, how are you? Are you dizzy?"

Dark Shadow's eyes were half-lidded and almost closed as he pointed up.

"I bet the daylight doesn't help does it?" He shook his head and I looked behind me at the fight. I still had no clue why there was smoke everywhere, but it still billowed from wherever it was coming from.

"Will the smoke help?" I asked. "Could you stay here till you feel better, and then go fight in the smoke? Would that work?" Dark Shadow thought a moment and looked back at me, shrugging.

I don't know, but it's worth a try!

"Great." I said, smiling. "So stay here till you have more energy and then go fight in the smoke. If you still feel weak you come back here, understand?" I explained, dead serious.

Dark Shadow nodded and retreated to Tokoyami's gut.

I stood up, adjusting the green Deku tie around my neck.

"Where are you going?" Tokoyami asked, making me look back at him.

"I'm fighting." I answered, giving him one last smile before running into the smoke.

I coughed when I entered, it's the first thing I did. I may be a genius and my IQ is off the charts but my lungs were still normal.

I looked around, the smoke stinging my eyes. I saw Ojiro smack someone with his tail close by, sending them flying, Sero swinging from his tape above them.

"You have some nerve, bitch." Growled a voice a few feet away from me. I turned and saw a villain staring back at me, bandana around his face. He had sunglasses on, making it harder for me to make eye contact.

"That's right, I do. Who are you?" I asked.

"The person about to kill you." They responded, walking towards me.

I laughed in their face, catching off guard.

"That's rich. You can try." I responded, feeling my hands go cold.

He reached his hand up, needles flying from his palm.

I bent back in time, the needles flying above me.

"Hey, you're Pin aren't you? Police have been trying to catch you for a while. What's with the get up?" I asked, dogging yet another attack of needles.

"That's me. At least you know the name of your killer!" He exclaimed, starting to run towards me. I put my hand to the ground, freezing the cement and keeping his feet in place.

Before he could attack me again, I froze his hands, weighing him down. He fell to his knees, trying to lift his hands again, but the ice was too heavy.

"Hate to leave you here, my killer, but I have other matters to attend to." I smirked at the villain before doing a back somersault, leaving him yelling in anger at my disappearing figure.

Fun Fact: Eijiro has been known to speak about society's gender laws, and his most famous quote is: "It doesn't matter if wearing a skirt or pants makes you feel manly. As long as you feel it. That's all that matters."
