I walked into the lobby, the petite receptionist glancing up at me. She looked up again once she realized I looked out of place.
Can you please not? I thought as I walked to the front doors. I felt her eyes look me up and down, trying to figure out where the hell I had come from.
While walking it dawned on me how incredibly cold I was. I was freezing. It was from using that stupid ice quirk I had. I never used it much so it's easy to pass it's limit. I guess I was to high on adrenaline to notice my body temperature before.
I stopping in front of the glass doors, seeing people run around, trying to aid in the cleanup.
I put my hand on the door handle before a shiver ran down my spine. Shaking in off, I pulled the door open and walked out.
I stood still for a moment as people ran back and forth, yelling at each other and throwing things back and forth. I rubbed my arms to try and warm myself up, but my hands were the coldest part of my body.
"(Y/N)!" Someone yelled. I whipped towards the voice, seeing Shoto run towards me.
"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" He asked once he was in front of me, rubbing my arms as I was a moment before.
"Yes, I'm fine. Are you ok?" I asked in return.
"Yes, yes I'm fine. Was that really you? With the ice? Where did you get that quirk?" He asked frantically.
I felt his left hand heat up slightly, not hot, just warm. I put my hand on the back of his, keeping it on my arm.
"Yes it was me and I'm freezing." I answered. Shoto rubbed my right arm, heating it up to a normal temperature quickly.
"Thank you." I said as he wrapped his arm around my back, rubbing my other arm and steering me away.
"You didn't answer my question, where did you get that quirk?" He asked.
"My normal quirk, Analyst. It allows me to steal other people's quirks from their brains." I responded, leaning into Shoto to try and steal his body heat.
"(Y/N)." He said sternly. "Did you get the ice quirk from me?" He stared straight into my eyes, a serious look on his face. I was startled by the change in personality.
So he thinks I got it from him. I didn't obviously, but somehow he feels betrayed. Why?
"Oh Temperature, no." I answered. "I got it from one of my neighbors as a kid. I wouldn't take your quirk without permission." I assured him, watching his face soften.
It wasn't a lie. I wouldn't take his quirk without his permission. Not his anyway. Other people were free range. At least before I had morals that is.
"Alright. I'm sorry for getting upset, it's just I started to panic when I thought you had." He explained.
Why? I thought. Why did he panic?
Before I could ask, Iida ran over to me.
"(L/N), thank god! You're safe!" He exclaimed.
"Yeah, yeah I am. Are you alright Iida? You're not hurt?"
"No, I'm fine! I'm just glad you're safe!" He exclaimed.
"Thanks for the concern. What can I do? Let me help with clean up." I insisted. Shoto was still rubbing my arm, the heat spreading through my body.
"If you insist. Follow me." He said, turning and starting to walk in the direction he came.
I started to walk away before Shoto stopped me.
"Are you warm enough? My quirk makes me cold too, I know how bad it can get."
"I'm at a normal body temperature thanks to you. Thank you Temperature, you have my gratitude." I smiled and waved before running off in Iida's direction, finally able to see since the fog had cleared.
As we walked, Iida and I passed Bakugo, who was crouched down at a villains feet. It was Pin, still held in place with my ice. Bakugo put his hands on the ice, exploding it. Police led him away, the quirk canceling cuffs already in place on his wrists.
Iida led me to Pitch, who was still passed out on the ground.
"Would you get her legs?" He asked as he hooks his arms under the villain's arms. Her bat slid from her hands as well as her ball, which rolled a few meters away. I watched it roll for a moment before I picked her feet up, one on each side of my waist.
Pitch let out a snore, making me laugh. We brought her to a cop car and put her in, letting the cop cuff her wrists. A few other villains slid in the seats beside her, sneering at Iida and I.
We watched as the car drove off.
"I wonder how she few asleep." He said aloud. "It was an intense battle, how in the world did she fall unconscious?! Who did she and Pin even fight?" He asked.
"I'm not sure." I laughed, trying to play it off. "Hell, due to the fog, we may never know."
"That's very true. But come to think of it, you have some sort of ice quirk as well as Temperature. I'm not sure how you got it, but you have it. Since Temperature got here later than you did, I'd say Pin and possibly Pitch battled you. Didn't they?" Iida asked, looking down at me.
"You're pretty good at that. You've caught me." I chuckled, looking up at him. I could just barely make out his eyes through the visor of his helmet.
"Tell me Agent. Did you acquire that quirk through nefarious means?" Iida asked, voice stern.
Did this man really just-
"Nefarious? Me? Never. It's a part of my quirk. I can copy quirk files over to me, just like you can a file on a computer to a flash drive. The person consented by the way, it was nothing illegal." I assured him, "no need to put me in handcuffs."
"I thought so, but it was my duty as a hero to make sure!" He exclaimed. He turned towards me fully, bowing to me. "I hope you can forgive me!"
"It's no problem Ingenium, really. I get where you're coming from, I'd be suspicious too." I told him as he straightened up.
"I'm glad you understand." He said, turning once again to look around. "I can't believe it went this far."
"I know how you feel. This started as a petty attack. At least the heroes came out on top." I sympathized, making Iida nod at my words.
"That is very true Agent. Now follow me, we can help Dark Shadow." Iida said, pointing in another direction.

Not long after, all the villains were detained and sent to the station, leaving the area bare for the cleanup crew.
A few heroes lingered, making sure there were no more surprises. I made sure Tokoyami got the help he needed and he was currently on his way to the hospital along with a few other heroes and civilians.
I leaned against the wall of one of the buildings, arms crossed over my chest as I watched what was happening on the streets.
"Agent (L/N)!" Sero called out, walking towards me.
"Hey Cellophane." I greeted as he approached.
"I just wanted to thank you on behalf of all the heroes, you were a huge help." He informed me.
"I'm just glad I could help." I told him, putting my hand on his shoulder. His cheeks turned a light pink and he looked away from me.
"Listen, (L/N), about-"
"Hey dumbass, what the hell?"
I just finished writing Chapter Seventy-four and I'm so excited about it oh my god.
Fun Fact: Hawks was number one for a while and after Endeavor retired he kept the spot for good. Once the Class 1-A kids made their debut, Hawks knew he was going to get beat out, so he decided to let the kids have the spotlight for a while, taking more vacation days and letting his rank drop a bit. He sits at number four now.
