Over the next few days, I was overwhelmingly not ok. I just felt off. Maybe it was the lack of human contact or maybe it was the fact I just turned down a relationship with a guy who would be perfect for me. I wasn't sure.
I could always turn to Shoto if I wanted a relationship, but I wasn't sure if I wanted a relationship or just the sex and cuddles afterwards, but either way I wasn't going to lead him on like that.
Friday eventually rolled around, and I found myself staring at my duffle bag in thought.
"What do you bring to a sleepover?" I asked myself. I'd never been to one before, my parents never let me while I was in their custody.
I decided to call Chiharu, taking out my phone to call her number. I waited, listening to the ringing, but she didn't pick up. I called Daichi in hopes he would know.
"Yeah?" He said when he picked up, sounded like he was eating something.
"Hey hot stuff, what are you eating?" I asked.
"Sushi. Want some?" He asked as he put another roll in his mouth.
"I'd love to, but I'm packing right now."
"Packing for what? Your boyfriend invite you over?" I could hear his smirk from over the phone.
"No stupid, I'm going to a sleepover with some girls I know but I have no clue what to bring. Help?" I asked. Hopefully he'd actually help instead of being a jerk as usual.
He hummed in thought. "Fine. First get clothes, two pairs of pajamas and stuff for the next day."
"I'm only staying one night," I said, putting him on speaker and opening my dresser, "why two pairs of pajamas?"
"One pair is sexy the other is just pajamas. You don't know what kinda mood they'll be in." I paused with my hands halfway in my dresser drawer.ย
"Daichi what the fuck."

I stared up at the beautiful house in front of me. The house was red brick, popping out against the almost to-green-to-be-real grass. The two marble pillars holding up the overhead to the porch were carved with swirling designs, slightly concealed by the ivy growing up them.
I stepped up the few stairs to the front door, looking for a doorbell.
I found one, a small thing really, and pressed it, hearing a muffled tune from inside. It was short and sweet, followed by excited chatter and footsteps coming in my direction.
The doorknob turned and Ochaco smiled widely at me.
"You came!" She exclaimed, throwing her arms around my neck.
"Of course!" I said back, hugging her. She ushered me inside, telling me to just put my bags on the floor of the foyer. I put my hands in my hoodie pockets, following Ochaco into a living area.
It was huge. A large flat screen was mounted on the wall above a gorgeous fireplace. The rest of the girls were sitting on the sectional, backs facing me. They turned when they heard us coming, putting down their drinks to greet me.
"(Y/N)!" Mina exclaimed, practically jumping into my arms. She wrapped her legs around my torso, making me quickly put my hands under her to hold her up, spinning in place.
Your gay is showing, your gay is showing.
"I'm so glad you came!" She exclaimed, lifting her head and looking down at me.
"Mina, get off, you're trampling her." Jiro said, rolling her eyes as she took a sip of her drink.
Mina looked down at her position, chuckling.
"Oh right." She unwrapped her legs from around me, and I set her down. She reached up to dust off my shoulders, as if they were dusty. "Sorry about that."
"It's fine, really. How are you guys, we haven't talked in a while." I said, looking from the pink girl to the others there. Yaoyorozu stood beside Jiro, smiling at me and holding her wine glass.
"I've been great (L/N), thank you for asking." Said Yaoyorozu, nodding her head slightly.
"I've been pretty good too. I'm glad you're safe though." Jiro said, flashing a small smile.
"We all are!" Ochaco exclaimed, putting her hand on my shoulder. I looked at her from over my shoulder and smiled.
"Thanks for the concern guys. Really, it means a lot." I looked around smiling at them all.
"We care about you (Y/N)! You're like one of us now!" Mina exclaimed, picking up her martini.
My eyes went wide and I felt my cheeks heat up. "Really?"
"Of course!" Yaoyorozu said, chuckling.
I grinned, licking my lips. "Thanks guys. That means a lot."
One of them, huh? It feels nice to be accepted in a friend group. Is that what just happened?
"Let's get you a drink." Ochaco said, taking my hand to pull me over to the mini bar she had in her kitchen. Mini was a nice term.
The thing looked like a real bar, complete with stools and a neon LED sign for Asahi Super Dry. She slipped behind the counter, leaning on it.
"What can I get cha?" She was smiling wide, and I could tell she loved the house.
I laughed, looking back at her. "What do you have?" She gestured behind her to the wall of alcohol.
"See for yourself."
I scanned the wall, eventually going with my go-to.
"An Asahi with lime, please." I requested, and Ochaco turned around the grab one.
"That," she grunted slightly, popping the cap off, "I can do." She stuck a lime slice halfway in and handed me the glass bottle.
I was cold from the fridge, my fingers sticking to it slightly. I pushed the lime in, taking a sip.
"God, I haven't one of these in a while." I said, looking down at the label.
Ochaco chuckled and took my hand again. She led me back to the living area, where I sat down on her ottoman, putting my elbows on my knees and leaning forward.
"Hey (L/N), where's your hoodie from? I don't recognize the name." Jiro asked, sipping her glass and pointing towards my chest.
I looked down and read the hoodie, not knowing what I threw on when I left. The hoodie read 'JOHTOH RIVER SWANS' with the school emblem underneath it.
"Oh, it's from my high schoolโ the second one." I said, chuckling.
"What was public high school like?" Yaoyorozu asked, leaning back on the couch and crossing her legs.
"Well, it was different from U.A., really really different. Because of my expulsion, I kind of lost control for a little bit. I went to a lot of parties, I drank a lot, I even got a tattoo." I explained, stopping to take a sip of my beer.
"Wait, Wait, Wait. You have a tat?!" Jiro exclaimed, smiling and excited.
I laughed at her excitement. It was really cute.
"Kind of. It was a stick and poke but the person that did it was drunk and didn't get the ink down far enough, so now there's just some dots of ink where a tattoo is supposed to be."
"What was it gonna be?" Ochaco asked.
"Where was it gonna be is my question!" Mina exclaimed.
I laughed to myself, setting my drink down on the floor. I pulled my bottom lip down, revealing the few spots of ink in my skin. I leaned back, grabbing my beer.
"Bear with me here, I was really stupid and rebellious at the time... but it was supposed to say 'Glitch Bitch.'" I looked down in slight embarrassment from my high school years.
"Glitch Bitch?" Jiro asked.
"Yes."
"That's actually kind of cute!" Mina exclaimed, making us all burst out in laughter.
I felt safe.
Yo yo yo
I was planning some more stuff for the end of this book the other night and I thought, 'Hey, (Y/N) had a crazy high school life. Did she ever get pierced? What about a tattoo?' And thus the horrible Glitch Bitch tat was born. You're welcome ๐
I keep thinking about the end of this book and I keep thinking I should change it because I'm scared you guys will hate me because of it. I know it's stupid, but the ending (I think) is really surprising and you guys mean a lot to me so ๐๐๐ฅบ
Fun Fact: (Y/N) grew up in the upper middle class, so she had a pretty decent sized home. Her family was the type where you didn't touch your food at dinner until the host/head of the table (the father) started eating.
Reminder: I'm sorry, what's that I hear? You degrading yourself because you feel like you aren't enough? How dare you say such things about the baddest bitch in the land? You're gorgeous so never think anything different my dear ๐๐
Over and out.
