MEANWHILE, AT UA, A HERO PUT HIS PHONE DOWN ON HIS DESK.
"I'm glad the detective liked her card." Asa said proudly, having come up with the idea herself.
"I am too, Asa. I really liked Mochizuki's drawing on the front, I think it was perfect," the blonde hero complimented, leaning back in his chair.
The boy in question kept his head down, his black mess of curls hiding his bright red face.
The words "Thank you sensei," typed themselves above his head.
"He did it because of his big fat crush on her." Kasai blurted out, crossing his arms and leaning on his desk.
"Kasai, don't be a dick!" Tao exclaimed, looking back at the boy.
"Tao, language." Mirio said.
"I'm sorry sir. Kasai, don't be a bitch!" Everyone laughed, and Mirio put his hand over his mouth, knowing he shouldn't laugh along with them. Mochizuki kept his head down.
"Speaking of crushes, anything you want to tell us Mirio-sensei?" Asked Nakazawa, leaning forward on their desk and smirking. Their longer nails tapped against the scales on their face, making a clicking noise fill the room.
Everyone faced their teacher, smirking as well, with the exception of Mochizuki, who kept his head down, and Asa, who simply looked forward in interest.
"I'm sorry? I'm not sure I know what you mean." Their teacher laughed, knowing exactly what they meant.
(L/N) (Y/N).
"You know, you and a certain detective?" Nakazawa prompted, ready to hear their teacher's proclamation of love for the woman.
"Yeah Sensei. You're not really subtle about it." Ohashi said stoically, looking at his teacher with his eyebrow raised.
"Even Ohashi said something about it sensei!" Yasmine piped up from her corner, making people look at her in awe. She spoke in broken Japanese, but got her point across. "He usually just sits and observed!"
"Observes, Yasmine," Fujiwara corrected, "because he is observing."
"What did I say?" The American asked, still not quite fluent in Japanese.
"You said observed, they're different." The boy explained, not looking up from his book.
"Damnit." Yasmine muttered. "Can weโ"
"Study together at lunch? Sure. As long as your boyfriend doesn't tag along like least time, he's such a bother," Fujiwara finished, nodding his head across the room to Kasai.
The student had been helping the exchange student with her Japanese at lunch times and couldn't help but be jealous when Kasai flirted with her in ways he could never.
They had a bit of a high school romance going on.
"I'm not her boyfriend you idiot!" Kasai exclaimed. "Actuallyโ"
"Anyway," Fujiwara spoke, loudly so he could be heard over Kasai's ramblings. He finally set his book down, looking at his sensei and lowering his glasses, "you're in love with the detective aren't you Sensei?"
"Fujiwara! You're so blunt!" Tao exclaimed, looking back at the boy in shock.
"I'm only saying what I see. Haven't you all seen the way he smiles when he sees her on television? He covers his face like he's blushing, and he looks proud." The boy explained simply, taking his glasses off completely and hooking them on his blazer.
"He's still our teacher man, have some respect." Ohashi hissed, glaring at the boy with emotion he never usually showed.
No one really liked Fujiwara that much, except for Yasmine of course.
"No, no guys, it's alright," Mirio assured them all, laughing, "Fujiwara is just perceptive, that's a good trait in a hero."
"Sensei, I'd like to respectfully point out that you haven't answered our question." Asa said quickly, looking at a poster in the corner of the room.
"Is our little class rep a sucker for romance?" Kasai teased, leaning forward.
"Kasai, cut it out you jerk!" Tao exclaimed, glaring back at him. She turned back around, facing Mirio again. "She's right you know. Do you like Detective (L/N)?"
Mirio scanned over his class, eager teenage eyes staring back at him, waiting for an answer.
He smiled, knowing he did in fact like the girl, the image of her under that cherry tree with petals swirling around her like she was a goddess, that image was cemented in his mind, always there, always making him smile.
"I will neither conform nor deny."
The class room erupted in shouts, excited and prepared.
They all loved their sensei, he was their favorite teacher after all. They wanted to see him happy. Happy and in a relationship with that detective.
"Guys, I purpose we pull a Parent Trap and get them together." Yasmine suggested, smirked and looking back at her class.
"Huh?"
"A what now?"
"A trap?!"
"What are you talking about?"
"Even I have no clue what you're saying sweet heart."
"Ok, all of you. Meet me in the common room later, we're having a movie night."

Hanging out with Tamaki was like a breath of fresh air.
He was quiet, unlike a lot of other people I knew, and he was charming without realizing it.
The only thing about him that bothered me was his body language. It never changed. It was always the same; nervous. I could never get a good read on him unless I read his thoughts, which I don't like doing to Tamaki and he doesn't like eye contact anyway. So I never knew what he was thinking.
It bugged me.
But today was different. Today, Tamaki was trying to talk to me more, and it was adorable. He would rant about things, talking fast and looking happy before realizing what he did and apologized. I told him it was okay, and that I really liked it when he talked to me like this. He would always turn bright red and look away.
"Thank you again for lunch, I could have paid." I said, fixing my rolled up shirt sleeves.
"No, it's alright," he stuttered, but tried to steady his voice, "thank you for inviting me."
"Anytime man! I really like hanging out with you, we should do it more often." I gave him a reassuring smile and put my hand on his back. "Besides, I don't think I've repaid you for saving my ass when I jumped off that building."
"It was nothing, really! No need to repay me!" He said in a hurry, looking at me.
I chuckled, rubbing his back with my thumb and steering him through a crowd.
"Do you really like spending time with me?" Asked Tamaki after a minute or two, looking down and fiddling with his hands.
"Of course I do, you're great company." I assured him.
He paused for a minute and I saw his ears turn red.
"I just feel like I'm a bother sometimes." I could hear the sadness in his voice, making my heart crack in two.
"Oh Tamaki, no!" I said in a lowered voice, making sure people around us couldn't hear his real name. "You're not a bother at all! I love your company! And so do Mirio and Nejire, and all of your friends! Don't worry about being a bother, you could never." We stopped in front of the agency, and I turned putting my hands on his shoulders. "Okay?"
He glanced up at me, looking back down again.
"Okay," he muttered.
A smile broke out onto my face and I squeezed his shoulders lightly, making him flinch.
"Thank you again for lunch, I enjoyed it. We should go again some time."
"That would be nice." I smiled, rubbing the man's collarbone with my thumb before pulling away.
"I'll see you later then."
I put my hand on the door, about to push it open when I heard Tamaki make a noise. Anyone else wouldn't have caught it, but I did with my heightened hearing.
Turning back around, Tamaki was still standing there, head down.
"Did you need something else?"
He squeaked, making me suppress a laugh.
Tamaki finally looked up, looking from left to right and back again.
"Can I..." he trailed off, almost looking uncomfortable. "Can I kiss your cheek?" His face lit up as he started to shift his weight from foot to foot. "You can totally say no, I shouldn't have even asked, I probably ruined everything, I'm sorry, forget I said anythingโ"
"Tamaki!" I whisper-yelled, making him look up at me. He looked like he was about to cry. "It's ok, I don't have a problem with it."
"Are you sure?" He asked timidly, lip quivering.
"Of course!" I smiled again, taking a few steps towards him and scanning the area for hidden press.
I tilted my cheek in his direction, to the side and up a bit.
I could feel his breath on my cheek as he leaned in, his lips pressing against my face softly. Quickly pulling away, he pulled his hood over his head.
"That was great Tamaki," I whispered, assuring him. "Do you mind if I give you one back, or is that to much?" He stayed in place, almost shaking.
He slowly nodded, lifting his head and revealing his beat red face. I chuckled under my breath and pressed a kiss to his cheek, making my lips warm.
"Do you need to come inside to cool down?" I asked, pulling away. He shook his head violently, pulling his hood down again.
"I'll go. Goodbye detective."
"Bye! Tamaki..." I trailed off as he was already gone, speed walking down the street.
I laughed shortly and entered the agency.
"Don't act like you didn't just do what you just did." Chiharu said slyly.
"Oh shut up."
