𝙸𝚇: 𝙶𝚒𝚖𝚖𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚏*𝚌𝚔𝚒𝚗 𝚖𝚘𝚗𝚎𝚢

I woke up the next morning tired and grumpy. I never really hung out with friends at night, so staying out late was new to me. I look at my phone, seeing multiple good morning texts from multiple people. Smiling, I respond to them all, before placing my phone down again.

Making breakfast, I dance around my kitchen before looking out my window.

"Oh wow." I whispered, watching as the sky swirled together in hundreds of colors. My hand reached out to touch the glass, and I felt it, cold under my finger tips. My breath fogged the glass, but I didn't care. It was beautiful.

Ding.

"OH SHIT MY PIZZA ROLLS—" I exclaimed, running back to my kitchen, but not before throwing one last glance at the beautiful and untouched sky outside the glass.

"He KISSED you?" Chiharu exclaimed.

"Chiharu hush!"

"Cellophane kissed my best friend and said she was pretty! God I wish!" She whisper-yelled, throwing her hands up in exasperation.

"Yeah yeah, he did." I flush at the memory.

"Hey dumbass, why are you blushing so hard?" Bakugo asked me as we walked towards Nessie.

"Oh it's nothing."

"Did fucking Hanta do something? I will beat his ass, I don't care if he was drunk." The blonde threatened.

"No, he didn't do anything Bakugo." I responded, putting on my helmet. "Nothing at all."

"Do you think he remembers?" Chiharu asked.

"I mean it's possible. Then again, he could have blacked out. He did drink a lot." She nodded before her face lit up, the ends of her mouth curling up.

"Oh god, what's your plan?" I ask, betting she had something, some scheme in mind, as she always does.

"You should ask him! Ask him if he remembers! That'll be such a cute story to tell your kids!" She exclaimed, clapping.

"Kids? Chiharu, no! I just met the guy!" I say, laughing at the brunette before me.

She frowned and crossed her arms. "Are you saying I can't be an aunt to your and Cellophane's kids?" I roll my eyes playfully and start walking to my office.

"Finish those reports, would you?"

"I'm not kidding!" She yelled after me as I laughed.

Walking into my office, I see a new file on my desk. Opening it, I see another serial killer. Wonderful.

"What else is there to say? The dude kills people." I sigh in disappointment after walking away from the man. I had practically nothing on my man.

My phone rings, and I perk up, thinking Daichi found something for me.

"Whatcha got?" I ask, walking down the street.

" 285 Mocking Dale Drive, the bank. Stand off, armed suspect, hostages. They want your help, good luck." Chiharu says quickly before hanging up.

I stand confused for a few seconds before the word 'hostages' settles in my head. I start running.

"Agent! You're here! Our man is inside, have you been filled in?" A balding man asks me as I approach the scene.

"I know he's armed and has hostages." He trusts a megaphone in my hands.

"Just try to talk to him, make him surrender." I nod at him, ready.

"(L/N)?" A voice says from behind me. Turning, I find a familiar blonde.

"Kaminari. Hello!" I say, waving. I focus hard, fumbling with the switch on the mega phone, Kaminari laying quiet, taking the hint.

"Hello, I am Agent (L/N) (Y/N). I just want to talk with you. Can you pick up the phone please?" I wave my hand signaling the bald man to call. He does and hands me the receiver.

"Hello?" A mans voice says through the ear piece.

"Hi, can you tell me your name?" I say as kindly as possible.

"Are you like them?" He asks harshly.

"Like who?" I ask. I watch his silhouette in a window, pacing back and forth, back and forth.

"Like THEM. The bad people!" He yells. I hear a child crying in the background.

"No sir, I'm not like them. I'm good. Ok? I'm good. I won't hurt you. Can you talk to me? Let's just have a conversation." I coax him, watching the window and sitting down.

"Ok. Ok." The child cry's again and he yells for them to shut up.

"Can you tell me your name?"

"Tanaka Arata. My name is Tanaka Arata."

I closed the door of the cruiser and patted the top, signaling for the cop to drive away. All the hostages were accounted for, no money was missing from the vaults.

Kaminari was there the whole time, watching as I calmed the man down and got him to surrender himself.

"Hey (L/N), that was really cool. What you did I mean. I could never, I would just get so nervous, but you kept your cool the whole time and that's impressive. I mean, talking a criminal off a ledge with lives on the line, it's amazing! But back to the original point I was trying to make. I was just wondering if maybe you would want to go out for dinner and drinks with Hanta, Mina, Eji, Katsuki and I. We do it every Friday if your interested in coming." He smiles and flushed nervously.

"Well thank you for the compliments, and for the offer. I would love to. Where should I meet you guys?" I ask, and the male seems to explode in happiness.

"Amazing! Meet us at The Grove at nine. I have to get back to my shift now, but I will see you then." He smiles and I nod, before he turns, waving, and runs off down a street.

I thought about what Kaminari said a bit on the walk back to the agency. The Grove was a popular dinner date destination for couples. It's funny that they chose there, you almost never see more than two people enter. I laughed at the thought, a date. Hah! Funny.

I'm a girl that's too self-sufficient for her own good. A disappointment to her parents, though they pretend to be proud. I save lives, take them away. There's nothing to love here. Nothing to date.

I'm just alone.

But I never felt alone.

Sorry for a bit of a serious end to a chapter, I'm just trying to give the reader and the characters more depth. It's hard work. Thank you for reading!

Over and out.
