(ALAINAS POV)

We've been sitting here at the restaurant for about 10 minutes now.

I'm proud of my self. I decide to sit in the middle of KC and Ahren.

We've all been making small talk and we got our food within minutes, this place is actually pretty fast at serving.

It's kinda feeling good like the old times, but to add on KC which isn't a bad thing.

I think I'm finally ready to get back into the real world and be happy about things. But if Ahren doesn't want to try and make things work than I will try my best to finally give up and find away to be happy.

I need a way to talk to him tho...

It was now 12 in the morning. I was sitting in bed staring at my phone debating or not if I should actually do it.

I quickly sent the text.

Meet me down stairs in 5

I quickly got out of bed as quiet as possible and snuck down stairs.

I went to the living room and sat on the couch. A few minutes later I heard foot steps coming down stairs and twords the living room. Then walked in a tried, messy haired, shirtless Ahren.

"Alaina what did you wake me up for at 12 in the morning?" He smiled

Damn how I missed his smile

Before I even thought I quickly stood up from the couch and grabbed a hold of Ahrens face and pulled him down to kiss me. At first he seemed shocked,  but then he quickly started to kiss me back. It quickly then turned into a full out makeout session.

Ahren pulled me down to the couch and layed me down, gently laying on top of me, never breaking the kiss.

God how I've missed this.

(AHRENS POV)

I was not expecting this at all!!!

But I dont care. All I care about right now is kissing her and being close to her. It has been to long.

My hands slowly started to roam up her thigh while my other hand was above her head. I was gently laying on top of her making sure not to put all my weight on her.

But then it was when I felt all the lumps on her thighs. I took my lips off of hers and opened my eyes to see hers quickly open.

"Alaina what is on your leg." I looked at her with worried eyes.

"Its nothing just keep kissing me" she said pulling my arm up to her waist.

"Are you harming yourself" I asked her in a calm voice.

She sighed and layed her head back looking up at the ceiling.

"I wasnt planning on you finding out. I was gonna try and quit" she said, her eyes staying at the ceiling.

"Is this because of me" I asked her.

She sighed again.

"Yes and no. I just wasnt happy, but now I want things to change and be happy again" finally she was looking at me. I could see the truth in her eyes.

"Baby, please just try and quit for me" calling her baby again felt great.

She slowly pushed me off of her and we sat up facing each other.

She smiled. "Ahren I want to try things again...I want us to try again" she grabbed my hands.

"I want the same. Screw the past, this is the present and we just need to go day by day" I swear I'm the happiest man right now.

She smiled and leaned in twords me and gave me a quick but slow kiss.

"I agree, day by day" she smiled.

"Let's go to sleep" I smiled.

I quickly grabbed a blanket from one of the chairs and me and Alaina layed down on the couch and I wrapped us up. I put my arms around her as she layed into my chest.

"Ahren?"

"Yes?"

"I love you"

"I love you too"

I gently kissed her head and tightened my grip on her.

I have her back and I'm never letting her go.

I am the happiest man alive.
