The American Empire's pov:

I threw items into a cardboard box while East Texas glared at me in a corner. "Don't worry. In the next house, you get a room with your brother and I'll buy you things to put into it as well."

"But will I actually be able to sleep in it?"

I frowned and my face heated up with embarrassment. I made Eas sleep with me last night because I didn't trust the two brothers to stay together on the couch. They could run away or merge. "When I can trust you, yes." I said and focused on the task in front of me.

United Union barged into my room. "United Nations sent an email to me. We are officially welcomed into the world of Countries and Empires."

"Yay!" I cheered. United Union was smiling as well.

"Yay..." Eas grumbled from the corner.

I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Yeah, West Texas has been putting up a fight too, but he won't for long." She grinned evilly. Eas and I shivered. She left the room saying, "We have a meeting in a few hours!"

"Alright!" I yelled hoping she heard me.

"Will my brother be okay?" Eas asked with a whimper.

Dang... my heartstrings were being pulled harshly. "Yeah, he'll be fine." I gave Eas a pat on the shoulder. He seemed disgusted by the touch. That didn't hurt. Nope. I'm not crying! You are!

"American Empire?" Eas asked in a quiet voice. "Are you crying?"

"No..." I hid the thickness in my voice as much as I could. I packed quickly and left my suit out. "Help me move this stuff to the van, will you?" My voice sounded extremely cold. I was just as surprised as Eas was. He nodded and grabbed a box. We carried all my belongs into the van. I checked my phone for the time. I should be getting ready for that meeting. I walked into Flora's room. Eas followed me. She still had tons of stuff to pack. "Watch Eas till I get back." I looked at a surprised Eas. "Help her pack." He nodded with a strange look. "What?"

"You called me Eas?" He wondered out loud.

I furrowed my eyebrows and blushed in embarrassment. "I thought it would be a good nickname..."

He avoided my gaze. "It is."

"Good."

"Cool."

That was such a weird encounter. I ran by United's room. "Get ready for the meeting and make Dakota watch West Texas!"

"Will do!" She yelled at me. I hurried to my room to get ready.

I checked myself in the mirror one last time. I looked okay. I poked my head into Flora's room. "We're leaving! I'll text you when we get out of the meeting!" I hesitated. "Bye, Eas." I left and repeated the same information to Dakota. "See you later, Wes."

"What!" He piped up quite loudly.

"Awww, that's a cute nickname for him!" Dakota squealed.

"Oh no..." Wes's voice dripped with horror. I left the room with a slightly evil smile.

"Are you ready, United?" I called into the closed door of her room.

"Yes." She opened a door and I stood there admiring her dress.

"You look stunning!" The bright red dress hugged her figure and dipped slightly into her chest. Red roses circled around her arms. Her white shoulders were bare.

"Thank you." She smugly smiled. "You clean up nice as well."

"Thank you, your Countryness."

"What the fuck?" She laughed. I laughed with her as we left the old, yellow house.

We barely talked on the way to the meeting place. I was filled with nervousness. I fiddled with my fingers as we marched up the steps. States and Countries stared at us. Time to look threatening. I puffed up my chest slightly and raised my chin. I opened the door for United. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." I followed her inside. The white walls and dark grey carpet were rather simple, but the long line of chairs and a huge brown topped table were extraordinary.

"Welcome! Welcome!" United Nations called over to us. He placed a hand on the small of my back and guided my sister by barely touching her arm. I glared daggers at him and he smirked back. "These are your designated seats." I saw a chair with my name mounted on the back of it. My sister had one beside me. On the other side, I was sitting by the... UN.

"Are you kidding me!" I shouted at him and threw my hands in the air.

"Afraid not." He smugly smiled.

United placed a firm hand on my shoulder. "Don't make a scene, Brother!"

"Yes, it's quite embarrassing." UN sighed.

"I hate you." I hissed under my breath.

"I wouldn't have it any other way." He whispered with a smirk. I angrily sat down in my seat. United joined me. Luckily, UN went to greeting everyone at the door.

"What's up with you two?" She raised an eyebrow.

"He just gets under my skin..." I muttered. I'm still pissed.

"こんにちは。" (Hello.) We turned around to find Japan smiling down at us.

"こんにちは。" I said back. I was slightly knowledgeable about the Japanese language.

United Union only nodded and smiled.

"Wow! I am so glad you know a little Japanese!" She squealed excitedly.

"I know more than that." I laughed.

"We should have some Amazake over at my house later!"

"That would be great!" I smiled. I had no clue what Amazake was...

She bowed with a smile and left to sit in her seat.

"You!" A familiar voice thundered.

"Oh God." I whispered as I see the USA march toward me.

"I'll kill you!" I can see the flames in his eyes under his sunglasses. "You took Texas from me, you Witch!"

Witch? Okay then. "He came willingly." I crossed my arms and stuck my chin up. He grabbed my chin and the wounds from last night started to reopen.

"You won't be so lucky next time. I was in shock." He growled. I glared and didn't say another word.

"Break it up!" UN hollered. He pulled America away. "Go to your seat, America!" He handed me a tissue for all the blood on my face.

"Thanks." I accepted the tissue.

"No problem." He smiled down at me. I was starting to feel uncomfortable so I turned away.
Eventually all the Countries sat down in their seats and UN started the meeting. "It's great seeing all of you on this beautiful morning! We do have some pressing matters to talk about, but first let me introduce you to the newbies!"
All eyes turn on me and my sister. "The black flag, white stripe guy is known as The American Empire." Complete silence besides Japan waving. "Could you welcome the man?" UN rolled his eyes.

Multiple Countries grumbled responses except for Japan. "Welcome!" She smiled warmly. I smiled back.

"The beautiful gal next to him with the white flag and black bear in the middle is The United Union."

The Countries grumbled more responses except for Japan.

"Don't make eyes at my sister!" I whispered yelled at UN.

"Don't worry, I won't." He winked at me. My eyebrows lowered in confusion. I turned away from him suddenly and looked straight ahead. Was he hitting on me? Straight ahead America glared at me. He sunk down in his seat with his arms crossed. Disgust vibes were being sent my way. I scowled at him with narrowed eyes. "Alright, let's go over the standard peace codes and we can go from there." UN grabbed everyone's attention. He turned to me and United Union. "Avoid nukes, avoid wars, and avoid killing other Countries." I glanced at United Union out of the corner of my eye.

"Of course." We both replied creeping some of the other Countries out. The meeting continued for awhile. I listened and got bored and so I looked around at the other Countries. America looked just as bored as I did. He was rolling a pencil back and forth and was pouting. Canada was listening to every word. I think Australia was petting a turtle with New Zealand. Russia sat with his arms crossed and a straight face. Germany wore a similar expression and rested his face on his hands. Japan had a small smile on her face. I think she was listening to some music, but I couldn't see the earbuds. Maybe she was using AirPods. Poland was listening intently. A hand on my shoulder brought my attention back on UN. He was grinning with a smirk and his light blue eyes were locked on me.

"What?"

"What kind of government were you planning on having?" UN asked again.

"Ah, capitalism but no terms or presidents. Only one leader, but the leader works for the people not himself."

"Interesting." UN hummed. A sparkle of interest shimmered in his eyes.

"That's impossible!" America shouted.

"Along the line I'm sure someone corrupt will destroy my government, but it's stable for now and I'm working on the holes in the plan." I shot back at him. Other Countries looked on with interest as well.

"You won't have that long, Copycat! I'll take your phony Empire down!" America slammed his hands on the table and stood up abruptly.

UN scowled. "Sit down!" His hand still rested on my shoulder. I tried to shake it off, but he swung his arm around me and forced me into his chest. "How about your government, United Union?"

"I'm a full on Communist." She said simply with an evil smile. Some Countries gasped.

"A Capitalist working with a Communist... how interesting." UN grinned down at me. I struggled to get him to let me go. My cheeks were burning badly from embarrassment.

"Let me go..."

My whispered words were cut off by America's angry and loud ones. "How disgusting! The American Empire is a joke!" He glared at me. I sighed giving up on escaping.

"I'll show you!" I glared through the UN's arms and threw an angry finger at America's way.

He gasped dramatically and threw me one back. I wanted to leave so badly. "Meeting dismissed." UN said calmly. It's like he read my mind. I pushed myself away from him and got up from my chair.

"Move my seat away from yours!" I narrowed my eyes and poked an angry finger into his chest.

"When you start listening in the meeting, sure." He chuckled. "Let me walk you two home. America looks like he's going to murder you."

My sister and I glanced at the angry American. "Sure." United Union accepted for me.

"Great!" UN swung an arm around me and dragged me out of the building. United followed us.

"Could you stop touching me everywhere?" I asked angrily. He's really getting on my nerves.

"Sorry, I like pissing you off too much to stop." He sung cheerfully.

"Ughhhhhhh." I groaned and continued walking with a frown on my face. This is going to be a long walk...
