Carmy and I were training defense. We were getting to know each other better she is my age and likes almost everything I like.

"Gumball! Heads up, chest of out, shoulders aligned." Carmy said commanding me.

I did exactly what she told me and it is pretty hard when you have been a slacker all of your life.

"Begin!" With that she started attacking me with her wooden sword. I was dodging all of her hits and before I know it she kicks me and sends me on the ground. I quickly got up to defend myself.

"Aren't we racing dragons?" I asked as I was still dodging her attacks.

"Yeah, but someone might hop on dragon and try to kill you." She responded.

"Wait there's death?!" I asked shocked.

"That's kind of fair play around here." She said as she continued attacking me. "Now fight back!"

I started getting the hang of it and this time she was the one dodging my attacks. I think I went overboard and mistakely hit her arm.

"Ouch! I can't believe you will hurt a girl. "

"I am so sorry I didn't mean t-" before I could continue she caught me off guard and swiped off my feet and then I fell hrad on the floor.

"Don't trust anyone. " she said looking down at me laughing.

I growled angrily.

"You look cute when you try to be angry." She said still laughing.

"You think I am cute?" I asked with a smirk on my face.

Then she punches me in the eye to avoid the subject. "Owww!"

"Do you know how to ride a dragon?" She asked.

"Trying to change the subject, huh?" I said suspiciously and with that she punches me in my other eye.

"Ok ok and they aren't really dragons anyway they are just shapeshifters, so I think I got this." I said in pain.

"Good, now hurry up and get ready the race starts in seven minutes." She said.

Before she left she looked back saying. "Yeah and Gumball. I really had fun hanging out today." With that she left.

I wore my suit of armor which was incredibly heavy. Well I looked like a sumarai, so win win.

I stepped outside and there was a huge crowd of shapeshifters outside. Then they started booing me I just scoffed at that and left. I saw my teamates in there suit of armor. How are they carrying it so well?

"The race begins in two minutes hop on your dragons." Said the host on his microphone.

"Hey Gumball, good luck." Penny said to me from afar with a evil smirk on her face as she leaves the area.

"Wait a minute Penny is leaving field looks like she is not racing." The host said still on his mic.

"Hey Darwin a little help." I calked him to help me get on my dragon.

He put his hands his gands to give me a boost and I was terrible at climbing.

"Your butt is in my face dude." Darwin said struggling then I finally made it on top of my dragon.

"On your marks, get set , ready and wait!!!!!" The host shouted from his mic.

There's been a change of plans Gumball watterson and Frisco Vendel are switching places with that weirdo and the freak in the corner.

"Noo!" We all shouted. Well except for Frisco at least he just said. "Whatever. "

"Where are going to be on different teams, how will we get out of here? If Carmy and Darwin win they will go and we will stay but if I win they will stay." I said pannicking.

"Gumball, is going to be alright? "
Carmy said to keep me calm.

"Well, best team wins." Darwin said.

"On your marks, get set, ready and GO!!!" With that we took off. It was really hard controlling my dragon which made me last place.

"Could you please speed up." I said fustrated.

But when I said that it just stopped. We were losing terribly.
Carmy was in the lead with some weirdo in second place and Darwin in third.

The others where way ahead of us. Then I tried to look for a solution and then I realized it was penny's mom that I was riding. I came up with a plan.

"Where's our destination?" Carmy said to her Dragon's watch.

"You will be heading to the void. Land your dragons and search for an amulet first team to find it wins." A robotic female voice said.

"Got it." She said as she caught more speed.

I was still behind. "Mrs. Fitzgerald don't you look lovely today, is it the hair?"

"Finally someone noticed my hair." She replied.

"I am sure you will look more gorgeous if you speed up and fill the wind in your hair." With that she she took off and we where finally catching up.

Carmy was dodging some fireballs coming from my teamate and then she used a crossbow and shot a net at him that he fell of his dragon. He's probably dead.

"Wow team A is taking the lead."
The host announced.

There was a big television in the stadium showing us race.

Someone jumped onto my dragon and attacked me I was able to block with my own sword. We were exchanging sword hits and then I swiped off his feet off guard and took his sword just as Carmy taught me and he fell of my dragon.

"Whoa, Whoa that was dreadful by Gumball Watterson. " The host said as everyone got excited. "Thereare now six people in the race."

I was able to pass a teamate and an opponent , so I was head to head with Darwin. He flew below me and blasted me with a fireball and my dragon and I went down.

We were falling down about to hit the ground. "I don't think I can continue flying." Mrs. Fitzgerald said weak.

"I knew it. Penny always said you were weak." I said trying to make her get flapping.

"No I am not I will show you." With that she started flapping and we were back in the race.

"Look whose back." Carmy says as she looks behind.

I blasted a fire ball at an opponent and it was going down and then I back flipped onto Darwin's dragon and pulled the saddle to lead into the direction of the falling Dragon and both of them went down and I made a huge leap back to mine.

But Darwin stole Frisco dragon and pushed hin off and then it was only Carmy, Darwin , a dude and I in the race and I was second place.

My teamate zoomed in and hit a huge fire ball at Carmy which sent her off her dragon. She was unconcious as she was falling down.

I dived in to catch before she could hit the ground. She was behind my back. I got so angry that I blasted my teamate out of the sky.

"Omy my gosh, Gumball Watterson just blasted his own teamate out of the sky while helping an opponent. " The host shouted.

The void was near and Darwin was on my tail. "Hey can you make some smoke?" I asked my dragon to use as a distraction for Darwin.

"Sure thing." She said as she made the smoke and Darwin was stuck there for a while. I landed on in the void looking for the amulet and I laid Carmy down to rest sometime later Darwin joined me and we both searched for it and then I saw a glow coming out of a can.

I reached into it and it was the orb and then I realized that if I turn this in Darwin will stay here and Carmy is already in a horrible condition.

I walked to Darwin saying. "Take it." As I reached out my paw holding the orb.

"You sure?" He asked concerned.

"Yeah." And then we hugged. He put it in the bowl and they were declared winner but the host didn't say anything all I heard was screaming.

"Hello, Gumball we have attacked and we came to save hurry back." Anais said on the mic we rode my dragon back. Luckily Frisco fell on a mattress shop , so he is good.

We arrived and I gave Carmy too Carrie so that she can treat her wounds. Penny and Anais were battling.

Penny turned into all kinds of stuff to kill her but it didn't work.

Then she looked at me and ran towards me and I used my hands to cover myself but she did not do anything to hurt me she just dissapeared. It was raining at that time everyone was fighting.

Penny called for more soliders and there was no way out. We ran outside but our troops were to weak from the fight that they couldn't run fast. The shapeshifters would kill us by then. The only way out was for someone to close the stadium door.

We shot a laser gone and the shapeshifters were locked out and then we made our escape.

We were going home and kept having this itch behind my back probably nothing.

*Controller Chip blinking*
