It was the next day when Beca and Chloe decided to tell Aubrey together. She took the news really hard, beca repeatedly apologized for failing to save his life. Aubrey didn't respond, only chloe who tried to compfort both women at once. Beca decided to let chloe stay with aubrey and tell amy herself, Amy too took the news of her best friend's death extremely hard. Again, beca felt guilty but amy reassured her she had nothing to be ashamed of and that jesse had done exactly what he always wanted, to help his friends. Beca knew in a way, he had helped her that night and he was right, she did save him.

But there was one last deal that needed to be settled, Norman Osborn and Oscorp. Beca decided she was gonna confront norman about the whole ordeal, knowing it was his research and that is was probably illegal, he was responsible.

Beca decided to wait till the next day to let Norman grief and she would visit late in the afternoon. She climbed through the window, hoping to avoid whatever security there may be. The place seemed to be empty.

"Mr. Osborn!" she called as she slowly made her way through the upstairs hallway. "Norman!" she called again.

"He's dead Beca" she turned to see Burt stepping out of a doorway. Beca first surprised but then shocked once she realized what he had just said. "When he found jesse he knew it was his research that led to his death, so last night he shut off all of his medical equipment and let himself die" he stated with a sad tone and beca sighed in disbelief and heart break. "and I know why ur here beca" he followed up, steeping closer.

"Wait, how..." she began.

"You spent enough time in a single home, you tend to see a lot" he stated, now standing in front of her. "That and the security footage from the other night" beca's eyes widened. "Don't worry I took care of it" he quickly reassured. "But you hafta believe me when I say you do not want to get involved with these people. You have no idea what they're capable of or the people they have ties to" he warned with a worried tone.

"You can't expect me to just forget about it" she sighed. "He was my best friend"

"I know beca, he was like my nephew" he nodded. "But I don't wanna lose you or amy too...or even one of you losing someone else you love" he said kindly and calmely. "So please, let me handle this and you go home and live a long, happy life with ur friends and ur girlfriend, you and amy both" he said placing a hand on her shoulder.

Beca looked up with a worried thought. "What will happen to you?" she whispered.

Burt sighed deeply. "I'll be alright, I'm just sorry I didn't do something twenty years ago" he replied with a regretful look. Beca brought the older man in for a tight hug. She was gonna miss him. She didn't want to leave him to this, but it was his choice, not hers. With that they had an emotional goodbye and the vigilante headed back to tell amy and chloe everything burt told her. For the next while, beca, chloe, aubrey and amy all hepled each other to grieve over their loses, promising to always be there for each other.

"And the winner of this year's ICAA Regional Championship is..." the announcer called into the microphone as he pulled out a card. "NYU's Cleftomaniacs!" he called and the whole audience cheered loudly and the maniacs went wild for their big victory. They rushed up to the stage to collect their new, well earned trophy and gathered around as aubrey spoke into the microphone.

"I'd like to thank all of my fellow maniacs for helping me and my co-captain and best friend to achieve this life long goal of ours, and for helping us to get through this hard year we have had and for giving it their all this year. And most of all, I'd like to say that our performance today was dedicated to a very special person we lost earlier this year, but in the time we knew him, he changed our lives and made us stronger" she stated with tears forming in her eyes. "We love you Jesse" she finsihed and as the audience cheered, she turned to beca with an emotional smile, receiving one in return.

One of the songs they used in their mix performance was Won't You Come See About Me from one of Jesse's favorite movies, the Breakfast Club, an honor in which aubrey granted beca to sing. Beca wiped away her own tears of joy as she turned to her girlfriend for a tight embrace and then a deep kiss.

"I'm so damn proud of you!" she called. "I'm so glad I spotted you at the activities fair" she smiled.

"I'm glad you walked in on my shower" beca smirked and they giggled.

"Me too" she chuckled. "It was probably the best decision I've ever made" she smiled and beca's heart fluttered. Chloe pecked beca's lips one last time before pulling her off the stage by hand.

As they walked along with aubrey and amy, jesse's roommate Benji walked up to the group. "Benji, hi" aubrey smiled.

"Hey benji" beca followed.

"Hey guys" he smiled back.

"You did really great man you should be proud" beca declared.

"Thanx, you too" he nodded with blush creeping up. "But I just wanted to let you all know," he said nervously. "I also dedicated my solo to jesse, I wouldn't have had that opportunity if it wasn't for him" he said proudly and emotionally and received smiles and hugs from both aubrey and beca at the same time, then amy right after that.

"We'll see ya around houdini" amy smiled and benji did so as well with a nod and thumbs up.

The maniacs all headed outside to board the bus. Beca and Chloe being at the back of the line were stopped by Aubrey by the door. "Hey beca" she said grabbing her arm. "I just wanted say thanx" she whispered.

"For what?" she smiled.

"For everything" she shrugged. "For what you've done for us, chloe, for... being best friends with the best man I ever knew" she shyly replied and sighed.

"Well," beca shrugged with a smile. "Ur best friends with the best girl I've ever known so..." she shrugged again and turned to the blushing redhead who leaned in for a kiss. "By the way, I saw you guys getting ur caps and gowns the other day" she said with worried look. "I don't know what I'm gonna do without you guys" she worried.

Chloe shot Aubrey a glance and the blonde smirked. "Go ahead" she nodded.

"Go ahead and what?" beca glanced between chloe and aubrey.

"We're not leaving" chloe smiled. "We're still graduating but we're coming back again" she happily stated.

"What!" beca scoffed going wide eyed with excitement. "How?"

"Well I'm taking ur advice, I'm gonna get into nursery here, aubrey is getting into law and in the mist of all of it, we'll still be with the maniacs, with you I might add" she smiled brightly.

Beca scoffed again. "You guys!" she said excitingly, pulling the redhead in for a hug.

"I wouldn't leave you" chloe laughed. "Plus neither one of us are ready to quit the maniacs yet" she followed.

"Not even close" Aubrey backed up and they giggled.

"You'd never leave me?" beca smiled pulling back.

"Never ever" she replied happily and placed an open-mouth kiss on the brunette and the girls on the bus posted fun as they watched the two deepen their moment. They broke apart laughing, the three smiled at each other and were about to get on the bus when they heard police sirens in the distance.

Beca looked back at chloe with a nervous look and chloe just smiled and laughed. "Go get em tiger, I'll be waiting for ya" she winked.

"I'll be seeing you then" beca replied with a kiss. "I'll catch up later guys!" she called turning to the bus.

"Go get em web slinger!" amy replied and the others began to cheer for the hero. Aubrey even gave her a fist bump and wished her luck.

"Thanx" beca said to aubrey. "See ya" she sighed turning to chloe. They were just silent for a second before beca pulled the ginger in for another make-out session. Aubrey casually looking away with a smirk, trying not to watch.

Chloe laughed in the kiss. "Go-ha-ho" she laughed pushing her away. "Go safe the day"

"Alright, love you" beca smiled pointing at the redhead.

"Love you too hero" she pointed back.

Beca turned and ran into the nearest alleyway and removed her maniacs uniform to reveal her spidey suit, removed the wrist bands hiding the web shooters and pulled her mask on before taken off. She shot and pulled and let her webs swing her into mid-air as she followed the sirens. She felt herself go free as she swung and flew across the city, feeling the greatest amount of motivation and freedom she has ever felt in her life and ready to do her duty to fight the good fight once again.
