It was supposed to be a normal day at school. Classes were going fine as usual. The Lizard had used the sewer system and burst up through one of the toilet's. I was in the hallway, when I heard it. That loud familiar roar in the air. I stood by my locker as the bathroom wall beside me exploded, with a large green Lizard walking out of it. Student's began screaming and running away in fear. Peter and Gwen were both beside me.

"Go. Go!" I looked at Peter and shouted. He nodded his head and grabbed Gwen's arm and started dragging her away.

The Lizard looked around at the scrambling student's. His eyes met mine and a large vicious smile came across his face. Student's ran in one direction away from the monster and I ran toward's him. Peter looked back for a moment along with Gwen and saw what I was doing.
I ran at him, he tried swinging his large clawed hand at me and I slid across the floor, swiping his legs with my arm. The Lizard fell to the floor with a thud. I jumped back to my feet and jumped onto his back. Raising my fist into the air to strike him in the head. The Lizard caught my arm and tossed me over him onto the floor. I scrambled to my feet and he grabbed my back pack. I shrugged it off of myself and tried to wiggle away from him.
He grabbed my shoulder's and slammed me against the locker's, then tossed me across the hall through the glass trophy case. My body smashed through the case and through the wall behind it into a science class room. I skid across the floor, on my back and groaned from the pain.

The Lizard crashed through the open hole in the wall and charged at me. One of his feet pinned my arm to the ground and he tried to swipe at my chest again. When he missed, I lifted my feet to try and kick his chest, only to have him catch my feet in the process. I used my other hand and attempted to grab a stool, but he knocked it away from me. As it went across the floor, I was just able to catch it and I threw it at his head.
"You have nowhere to hide, Cate." The Lizard growled.
His large hand swung down at me at scratched the floor. I had rolled and clung to his foot, and saw my back pack. My suit was in there and I needed to get to it. I luckily was wearing my web shooter's and I shot out attaching one to it. Pulling it back to myself. As the bag landed in my hands he lifted me into the air and threw me into another wall. My body crashed through it again, and regardless of the pain, I quickly got changed.

The Lizard, stalked towards the open hole and noticed beakers of liquid. Being a scientist, he took what he needed and mixed them together and threw the concoction at the open hole and it exploded.
"All these soul's, lost and alone. I can save them. I can cure them. There's no need to stop me, Cate." He said into the dark hole.
I took my sneaker off and threw it at him, knocking him in the head. The Lizard roared in anger. I jumped from the hole in the wall onto the nearest desk, and crouched in my spider-pose. Quickly crossing my hand's and attaching webbing to the pipes above his head and pulled. He ducked to avoid them and when he looked back up I wasn't anywhere to be seen. I had jumped up on the ceiling and crawled around him, jumping onto his back.

"You're not thinking straight, Doc!" I called out wrapping webbing around his arms and head. Almost like a rein on a bull. I held on tightly and we crashed through another wall, his hand's desperately trying to reach around and get me off of his back. "Stop! This isn't you!" I yelled.

I tossed out some more web's hen he broke through the other's and this time they wrapped around his head. He back up into the locker's crushing my body between his and the metal. I clung to locker and jumped to the ceiling as he tried to swipe at me again with the sharp claws.
"We can talk this out." I told him.
He crawled up the wall onto the ceiling, slashing his claw's along the way toward's me. Hitting the lighting fixtures and ceiling vents along the way. I jumped from the ceiling to avoid on of the light's and got back on the floor. He jumped down after me and I shot out webs, attaching his hand to the locker's beside us. Keeping myself at a distance.
"Oh, boy." I said with wide eyed under my mask.
He had pulled his hand from the locker, taking on the door's with him, creating a sharp metal object. We both looked at it and at each other. I started doing back flips to get away from him as he swung the piece of metal at me. I landed on the floor and webbed myself to the other set of locker's, pulling my body through his legs and to the other side of him.

"All right, you don't want to talk." I said as he roared. "There you go!" I shot out my webbing and it completely covered his face.
He turned and tried to hit me with his tail, which I caught easily in my hands.
"Don't.." He swung his tail into the wall with me attached. "Make me..." He swung me again. "Have too.. ugh." I groaned hitting another wall. "Hurt you!" I yelled.
He swung his tail again and instead of smashing into the wall again I went flying backwards, the tail still in my hand's. It had detached from his body, and I glided across the long hallway floor.
"Oh, ew. That is disgusting." I tossed the still wiggling tail from my hand's as he stalked toward's me. His tail regenerating quickly.

Jumping to my feet I shot out web's at his hand's and flung self at him. My feet landed on his chest and his free hand grabbed my head. Holding me and smashing me into the glass window, making it crack. His hand was covering my entire face and I struggled to get him off and to breathe.
I heard a loud grunt from a familiar voice and looked up as I was dropped to the floor. A chair had been smashed out his head and the Lizard's attention changed.
"Peter. Gwen." He growled.
His fist lifted into the air and intended on striking them both. I shot out a web to the fist and pulled back, continuously shooting web's and jumped around his body. Creating a sort of cocoon, trapping his body inside it. I attached web's to the ceiling and to the floor to keep him from going anywhere and trapping him.
Gwen had a trophy in her hand's, intending on hitting the Lizard with it. I webbed it from her and tossed it at the window smashing it.

"I have to toss you out the window. I'm so sorry about this." I said to her.
"What!" She squeaked and I tossed her out the window, attaching a web to her.Allowing her to be safe.
I shot out a web at Peter and brought him into my arms.
"You're turn. Thank you and I'm sorry in advance!" I tossed him out too, attaching a web to him. I looked down to see both of them safely swinging from the web's.
When I turned around  the Lizard growled at the sound of the siren's approaching. Breaking through the final web's.
"Uh-oh. Somebody's been a bad lizard." I mocked, crouching down.

He came at me and we crashed through another wall into the library, knocking over bookshelves along the way. I got away from him and noticed another man in the room oblivious to his surroundings. The Lizard threw a table and missed me almost striking down the librarian. I caught the table with a web and tossed it back at him, I jumped from my table onto his back. He grabbed me off of him and threw me across the room just as the librarian left. My back crashing hard into another bookshelf. I landed on the floor and books, fell on top of me. I groaned and looked up, the Lizard, was no where to be seen.
I walked out into the hallway, carefully, looking around each and every corner, till I heard a loud clambering. I jogged down the hallway through all the mess and chaos we had created during our fight, and walked into the bathroom he had come out of. Seeing the large hole in the floor, where a toilet once sat. The Police siren's were loud now and someone grabbed a bullhorn.

"This is Lieutenant Williams from the New York City Police Department. We've got this building surrounded."

Back outside, student's were being checked on by EMT's and the school was surrounded by cops. Peter stood outside, phone to his ear, with Gwen pacing beside him. Now, she knew my identity too.

I went down through the large hole into the sewer system after Dr. Connors, the Lizard. My phone started to ring in my pocket.
"Hey." I said softly into the phone after seeing Peter's picture.
"Where are you?" He asked, with concern lacing his voice.
"I'm fine. I'm okay. I'm just down in the sewers tracking him. I've got to stop him before anyone gets hurt. But we need an antidote. Is Gwen with you?" I basically kept my voice as whisper.
"Yeah, yeah. She's right here. Tell us what you need us to do."
"I'm so sorry to involve you guys." I sighed. "But, I need to know if you know how to run a serum?"
"Yes, I do. I do it for Connor's all the time." Gwen said through Peter's phone.
"Okay, great. Listen, I need you to go to Oscorp. I need you to access the cross-species file, it's a blue serum. File 12389."
"Okay, I got it. I have so many question's." Gwen breathed.
"Later, I promise. Please, please, be careful. Peter can probably answer any question's you have for now."
"We are on our way. Be safe." Peter said.
"You too."

I hung up the phone and walked through the tunnel's until I came across Dr. Connor's make shift lab. I looked around seeing the many used vile's of the green serum. There was a computer that had video log's on it. I looked around still not seeing any sign of Dr. Connor's, so I clicked play.
"I spent my life as a scientist trying to create a world without weakness, without outcast's. I sought to create a stronger human being, but there's no such thing. Human being's are weak, pathetic, feeble-minded creatures. Why be human at all when we can be so much more? Faster, stronger, smarter! This is my gift to you."
As I listened to the video, on another screen that had caught my attention, was the working's of a plan. Showing the imagery to turn human's into Lizard's. By using the Ganali device, putting it on Oscorp tower. He was planning on spreading the toxin through the city of New York and turning everyone into Lizard's.
"Oscorp." I gasped, realizing I just sent my two best friend's there.
