Izuku POV:

It's been a month since the entrance exams. Since then I've gotten a lot of bruising, a lot of pictures of myself for the mustached wonder, hung out a lot with Ochako, and kept looking out for the bird guy. So it was a very eventful month.

Now is the time to go to UA. I decided to keep my costume and webshooters in my backpack. I'm excited for what awaits me at UA. The school of my dreams. Where the great become greater. Even though I originally wanted to go through the support course or general studies, the hero course is a way I can really help people. Even if I can't become number one, it'll still be nice to help people. With science and heroics.

I make my way to Ochako's place so we would go to the train station together. I knock on the door and wait a few minutes. Ochako finally opens the door and, oh my gods, she looks so good in her uniform. "Hey, Izuku? Are you ready?" She asks me. I snap out of my trance. "Y-Yeah! Let's go!" I say pretty loudly startling her.

We head to the train station and we sit in the train talking out how we talk about what we think it'll be like there. What it'll be like doing all the hero training and even partake in the Sports Festival. Eventually we arrived to the station close to UA. We exited the train and finally went to the front of the school. We make our way to 1A. "Wow, this door is huge." I say looking at the amazing size of the door. "You ready to meet your new classmates Izuku?" She asks me. "Yeah." I answer. I open the door and hear arguing.

"Get your feet off the desk! You're disrespecting the desks out superiors sat in before!" The blue haired guy from the entrance exams yelling at Kacchan, who's sitting his feet up on the desk. "Huh? What, do you have a stick up your ass? Let's go at it and see if I get can it out." He says on a threatening manner with his usual cocky smile.  "You're threatening your own classmate? Are you sure your're in the right class?" 'You have no idea.' I think.

He then takes notice of us and Kacchan sees us too. "It's you." Everyone's attention turns over to us. "Um. Hi. I'm Izuku Midoriya." I nervously introduce myself. "Hello. I'm Tenya Iida. I apologize for my behavior at the exams." He says apologizes doing a weird hand motion. "It's okay. This is my best friend." I gesture to Ochako. "I'm Ochako Uraraka. It's good to meet you." He says smiling brightly.

"If you're here to make friends, I suggest you leave now." I hear a voice from behind us. I turn to see a.......'What is that thing?' It looks like a giant caterpillar with a man's face. It stands up and, thank goodness, it's just a man in a sleeping bag. "It took you 8 seconds to shut up. My name is Shota Aizawa. I'm your teacher. You'll have a lot to learn." He pulls out a blue shirt out of the bag. "Take these, get changed, and go out to the field." He says and leaves the bag.

We get our gym clothes and head out to the field. We arrive to see Aizawa standing by himself. "Alright. We're going to be taking tests to determine your place among your peers." He says pulling out a ball with a sensor on it. "Bakugou. You're up first. I want you to throw the ball the best you can using your quirk." He says handing the ball to Kacchan.

Kacchan steps up to the circle and prepares for the throw. "DIE!!!" He throws the ball with an explosion and it goes 705.2 meters. "During your time here, you'll be going through many trials on your way to be a hero." He tells us. "Alright! This is gonna be so much fun!" A girl with pink skin excalims.

"Fun huh? Fine. Whoever comes in last will be expelled." He says. "What? That's not fair?" Ochako says. "Life's not fair. Weaker links are snubbed out. My bet is on the midget." I say getting a 'Hey' from him.

"You want to talk about fair. Tell that to the heroes that die and never get remembered because they aren't flashy with fire or super strength. If you want fair, you're in the wrong place. At UA, we expect the best. So surrender any concept of 'fair' you think exists, and welcome to the real world of pros." Aizawa then goes to retrieve the ball. He gives us a smirk. "Now. Show me what you've got."

Timeskip:

So the tests were pretty simple. There was a test of speed that I finished in 3.86I seconds. A long jump that I'm sure I did the best in besides Kacchan and Ochako.  A grip test that I pretty good on. And some other simple tests. Last was the ball throw. Ochako got the best score with infinity. It was my turn and I threw it. I got a score of 501 meters. Surprising Kacchan, who's dumbfounded at how I was able to throw the ball that far.

"Alright, line up. We'll be looking at the scores. Oh, and the expulsion was a lie. That was a tactical deception to get you to do your best." He says with a shit eating grin. Everyone were relieved at this and he put the scores up.

"Now get back to class. You have work to get back to." He says walking away. "Alright Izuku. You got in fourth!" Ochako says with enthusiasm. "Yeah. You were able to make it to tenth." I compliment her. "It's not that big a deal. It's only tenth." She says rejecting my compliment. "But it's still a good place. It means you're one of the best ten." She blushes. "Come on Izuku, stop saying stuff to flatter me."

"Aw man. I really thought I'd make it in the top ten." I hear someone behind me say. It's Ashido. "Come on, Ashi. You still did good." The red haired guy, Kirishima, consoles her. "I know, Kiri. But you got into the top 10." She pouts. "Well, there's still 3 years left. You'll be in the top 10 for sure." He says encouraging her. I tap Ochako's shoulder and direct her attention to them. "Do you think they're a couple?" She asks me. "If not then the nicknames are pretty on the nose." I joke,

"Hey Deku!" I hear someone yell at me and I know who it is. "What do you want Kacchan?" I asked annoyed. "How the hell did you do that? Someone quirkless couldn't throw a ball like that." He asks me. "Well Kacchan, it took push ups, sit ups, and plenty of juice." I joke and this gets on his nerves. He just grunts and walks away

For the day we had, it wasn't that bad. I'm looking forward to what we have in store.

Meanwhile 3rd POV:

An old man is sitting in a company board looking at the papers he was handed. "What is this, Norman?! You bought out my shareholders?!" He yells at the man across the room. "Yes. When your company merges with Oscorp, it'll make more profit with our resources and power. But unfortunately, you will be laid off. Don't worry, you'll still get the checks. But your services here will no longer be needed." He says further angering the man. "And one last thing, Adrian. I wish you the best of luck in your retirement."

"You can't do this to me! My tech flight technology-" "Will be perfected at Oscorp. If you couldn't complete your work as a young man, you'll never be able to finish. Now, Adrian, I'll have to ask you to leave. Your things have already been sent to your place." Adrian marches out of the meeting room and goes to his own office. He goes to his desk and presses a button opening a wall with a suit. "Oh no, Norman. Luck is a coward's wish. A wish you'll soon want granted."
