- Second Pov -

"-..Huh!?" You screamed startled when you noticed and felt your surroundings change, after you put the headset on. It didn't feel like a 'game' anymore at all.

Your eyes then started to dart around the room. The room was huge and bright, with many colorful slides. You honestly would have guessed you're in some type of circus.

You then grabbed onto your head and started to agressively try to take the headset off.

"...Why can't I..take this headset..off!" You mumbled to yourself and then realised you didn't feel the headset at all. And that your appearance has changed as well. Instead of the headset being attached to your head, you had some sort of hat on top of it. A witch's hat to be exact. You then noticed that.. you didn't even have your upper limbs. Only set of hands that were floating strangely, making you panic.

You then noticed that a group of 'people' walked into the room you were currently in and you started to panic even more, not knowing what to expect from them. You looked around yourself, searching for any type of way to leave.

Then, a door with an 'exit' sign appeared which caught your eye. You then took a run towards it. The door then opened, making you run faster.

Suddenly, the door then dissapeared, making you stop, and accidentally trip.

"-WOAH." You screamed and then fell on your face. "Is this one a new NPC, Caine? Unlike the others, this one actually has a tolerable design though..." A smug male's voice pointed out, making you raise your head from the floor, groaning.

"I surely didn't! My my! It appears a new human must have entered this circus-like realm!" A man who had dentures for a head answered the human-like purple rabbit. He had two-coloured eyeballs inside the dentures and wore a suit that a typical circus ringmaster would wear. He was holding a cane in his right hand, and used it to point at you.

The more you looked at him, the more his unhuman appearance disturbed you.

"..-Who.. are you? Where.. where am I?! What is this place??" You started to freak out again, and then another person who had the appearance of a doll with a button for her eye started to approach you.

"Don't worry, it's alright new stuff. We've been all through this. You just need to calm do-"

"Where the [censored] did that [censored] exit go??" You cursed and looked around yourself, and then stopped.

"W-What..?" You whispered to yourself once you realised your cursing got somehow censored.

"Oh, no! Swearing is not allowed, my dear! The amazing digital circus is a place meant to be for all ages! In this amazing world of wonders! Where anything that you dreamed off can happen! Well.. expect for.. swearing." The ringmaster, or Caine, finished, leaving you shocked.

" 'Expect for swearing' my [censored]!" You shouted at him frustrated and then grabbed him by the collar as you started to violently shake him.

"Where am I!? How did I get here?! Who are you!" You said in his face as you continued to shake him, making him not be able to form a proper sentence.

"I-uh- I- well.." He muttered out as you groaned and then stopped, glaring at the others that were watching you.

"That's new, and a reaction that I wouldn't have expected." The purple rabbit said with a smirk, very obviously amused at your violent outburst.

You then looked at the others, studying their reactions. There was a king chess piece who seemed to be freaked out by you, and then screamed when he noticed your look on him and went to hide in a tent made out of pillows. A person with a red ribbon for their body and a happy mask dropped their happy mask, revealing their sad mask as they started to cry.

The doll with a messy dress and a button for her eye was frowning, dissapointed. And then there was a person who was just many random toys mixed together. They weren't really bothered by your outburst and seemed like they didn't care.

Noticing the other's reactions, you let go of Caine's collar and backed off, frowning.

"I.. I didn't mean to- I'm sorry.. just.. where is the exit?" You sighed and then looked around.

"I swear this one exit door just dissapeared on me when I was about to leave.." you mumbled to yourself, but Caine heard it.

"Oh.. well.." The doll started but got interrupted. "You can't leave this place." The purple rabbit guy said smugly, making you pause.

"What? That's [censored], I saw an exit." You said confused.

"We've been stuck here for years, and we've never saw any type of exit. If there was one, I'm sure we would've all left by now." Jax said, making you look at the floor.

"..What..?" You told yourself. "It must have been digital hallucinations!" Caine said, almost in your face.

"Well, like we do with every newbie, let's get to the tour of the circus grounds!" He said and then grabbed your hand, and took you outside. You looked around, and noticed the tent with a forest and mountains around it.

"Here we have the tent! This is where your living quarters are, as well as all sorts of other activities. These activities may include-.." He then glitched out, a weird text appearing in his eyes, disturbing you.

"-Ball pits, mini golf, and much more!" He finished, making you confused.

"Hey, what happene-" you got interrupted when he grabbed your hand and brought you further, making you have a perfect view of the full place. "And here we have the Grounds!"

"Drown yourself in the digital lake, or engage in ridery at the digital carnival!"

"Night, day, it's all okay! The choice is yours! A cosmic buffet!" He finished, pointing in your face.

"Drown.. yourself? Does that mean we can die in here? How is that possible??
...You know.. after getting transported into this game I won't question anything that doesn't make sense anymore.." You let out a sigh and looked around.

"That is for me to know and for you to find out!" Caine said and poked your nose, making you flinch.

"There.. isn't more? You're telling me this is all." You said as you finished looking around.

"Haha! I haven't said anything! Of course there's more silly!" He told you and then wrapped his arm around your shoulders, taking you even further.

He stopped in a place that seemed empty...

"This is 'the Void'." He told you, making you deadpan. 'Oh right, obviously it'd be something like void.'

"We don't venture out into the void. Not even I know what's out there.." Caine told you as he brought his face closer to you, creeping you out.

"We stay right here, where I can keep my... hundreds of all-seeing eyes on you." He told you with couple of eyeballs floating around him out of nowhere as he started to wiggle his fingers to add to the scarier effect.

"Right..." you muttered. You then looked at the Moon and Sun, and noticed the Moon staring at Caine.

"Are they actual people too or do are they..-" Caine interrupted you by wrapping an arm around your shoulders and bringing you back to the circus where the others were waiting.

"Ugh.. I feel.. sick.." You mumbled and then held your stomach in pain.

"That is a normal reaction, we've all been through it, three eyes." The purple rabbit said while smirking. All of their attention turned to you, as you stared at him confused.

"..-Three..eyes? What do you mean..?" You asked, frowning.

"Have you seen yourself in a mirror yet? It appears you have opened your 'third eye'." He said and then started chuckling. You looked at him in horror and then looked around for a nearby mirror.

When you noticed it, you ran towards it and finally checked your appearance.

While your hair, eye and skin color remained the same, that is about the only thing that did.

You were wearing a witch's hat, which you noticed previously. There was indeed a third eye grown on your forehead. You were wearing a suit that a magician would wear. While your upper limbs dissapeared, you still had your legs normally.

"Oh.. my.. god.." You said and touched your forehead area, where the third eye was.

"I look.." You started but paused, staring at your reflection.

"Now now, let's get your mind of your new appearance!" Caine said as he teleported beside you and walked you back, as you were still shocked by your appearance.

"Say.. what's your name dear?" Caine said while he had his arm wrapped around your shoulder.

"My name? My name.. it's.. uh..- is amnesia one of the 'other' side effects of going to the digital circus..?" You asked after you had trouble remembering your name, not surprised anymore.

"Wow, you sure are catching on fast! It indeed is! Nobody can remember their name once they enter the Digital Circus, something.. I don't have control over are.. your minds." Caine explained, making you furrow your eyebrow.

"Since you don't seem bothered by the fact you can't remember your name, why don't we help you pick a new one? It can be anything!" He said.

"Hereby acknowledging that your chosen name and or names may not breach the Digital Circus user license agreement, stating that your name may not include objectionable content. Objectionable content includes but is not limited to sexually explicit materials, obscene, defamatory, libelous, slanderous, violent, and or unlawful content or profanity." Caine then went on a rant, explaining the guidelines behind choosing your names.

"Uhh.. can't you pick out something for me..?" You asked confused.

"Wohoho! Alrighty!" He said and then a slot machine fell from the ceiling and he pulled the lever.

It then landed on 'Astra' as he looked at you. "What do you think of.. Astra?" He asked as you shrugged.

"I don't know.. doesn't sit right with me.. try again." He nodded, and then pulled the lever again. It landed on 'Glemm' as you shook your head.

"Glemme would sound better but.. it still doesn't feel like it.."

"You sure are picky for someone who wanted their name to be picked out by someone else." Caine jokingly complained and then pulled the lever again, as it then landed on [Y/n].

"What about.. '[Y/n]'?" He said making you shrug.

"Ehh.. you know what.. I don't care. It's alright." You shrugged. "Alright! Then what about '[Y/n] Glemme Astra'?" He asked as you nodded.

"Yeah, sure, whatever.. soo.. what are we going to do now?" You asked, looking at him and the others curiously.

"Well, I think it would be the perfect time to have a new adventure for you! [Y/n] Glemme Astra!" Caine said, pointing his cane at you.

"You know, just [Y/n] is alright.."

"Sooo, ready for an adventure?" Caine said as he got closer to you and wrapped his arm around your shoulder.

"Depends on which one.." Caine laughed and then patted your head.

"Since you're new around here, for today, the adventure will be easy, in house one to warm you up to hoe things work around here." He said and then turned around when he heard someone groan.

"I think I'm gonna pass." They said and then started to walk away. "Don't worry, Zooble! You won't need to get involved in this activity!" Caine told them as they already have left.

"Today's adventure isss... Hide n Seek! There are exactly fifty various toys hidden all over the place and today's job will be, as you might have already guessed, to find them!" Caine announced as he pointed to a teddy bear plush that panicked once it was seen and ran to hide somewhere.

"Soo.. basically.. adventures are some child games.." You mumbled.

"Well.. not usually.." The doll told you after she walked up to you.

"I'm fine with that." You grinned, trying to keep a positive outlook on this situation.

"The entire circus will be turned into a hidding place for various toys for you to find and bring them here! Into this box!" Caine explained as he then moved from the way to reveal a huge box.

"You have time to find all of them until dinner!"

"And what type of toys.. are we looking for exactly?" You asked curiously

"Any type of toy you can find!!" He said excitedly and then looked at his watches
"You have five digital hours until dinner! Goodluck and enjoy the hunt my superstars!" He said and then dissapeared out of thin air.

"Woo-hoo.." you sarcastically cheered and sighed.

Sorry my TADC hyperfixation got the best of me and I just HAD to start a new fanfic 😞

This doesn't mean i'm going to stop updating the TDI fanfic though, i'm working on the ninth chapter already!!

I only started this fanfic because I knew it's going to be short and It won't take me that much time, since there's only one episode out for now which I think could be 2-5 chapters depending on the word count and the prologue ( the readers first time in circus ) will be like 2 chapters and then one chapter involving the backstory so
Not really much
I plan on finishing this fanfic until the first actual episode, and from then I will post chapters here whenever a new episode comes out hahah

Anyways, I tried out a new type of personality for the reader and im not sure abt the design i made for [Y/n] 😭 [Y/n]'s personality may seem lowkey confusing at first but like.. ill try to make it make sense ( plus theyre literally me ) and I tried to make them as realistic as I could, and not a carbon copy of Pomni's personality

Plus, the first chapter is lowkey boring because most of it is what happened to Pomni but 😭😭
