Just as I was about to take my mask off

On the rooftop their I see

A boy in circus clothes here before me

Despite myself, I go and scream

"HEY, don't do it, please!"

Whoa, wait a minute what did I just say?

I couldn't careless either way

To be honest I was somewhat pissed

This was an opportunity missed

The boy in circus clothes told me his woes

You've probably heard it on the news

"Mami and Tati taught me not to yell

But I couldn't stop it when they fell!"

For God's sake, please!

Are you serious?

I just can't believe

That for some stupid reason, you got here before me

Are you upset 'cause you went through some trauma?

Your lucky that you've never been tortured 'til you scream!

"I'm feeling better thank you for listening."

The boy in the circus clothes then disappeared.

"Alright, today's the day!"

Or so I thought

Just as I took my Kevlar vest off

There was but a boy, like a traffic light

Despite myself, I go and scream

The traffic light told me his woes

You've probably heard it all before

"Criminals are scary, all those kills

I can't take it, watching blood spill"

For God's sake, please!

Are you serious?

I just can't believe

That for some stupid reason, you got here before me

'cause even so, you've still got somewhere you can call home

There's always Alfred's cookies on the counter, you know!

"Yes, cookies!" said the boy as he jumped for joy

The human traffic light then disappeared

And like that, there was someone everyday

I listened to their tale

I made them turn away

And yet there was no one who would do this for me

No way I could let out all this pain

For the very first time, there I see

Someone with the same pains as me

Having done this time and time again

He had a blue bird on his chest

"I just wanna stop the scars that grow

On my wrist, watching blood flow."

That's what the man with blue bird chest said

Whoa, wait a minute what did I just say?

I couldn't careless either way

But in the moment I just screamed

Something that I did not believe

"Hey, don't do it, please."

AA WHAT TO DO?!

I can't stop this boy, oh this is new

For once I think I can't just smile so they don't have a clue

But even so please just go away so I can't see

Your pitiful expression is just to much for me!

"I guess today is just not my day."

He looked away from me and then he disappeared

There's no one here today, I guess it's time

It's just me, myself, and I

There's no one who can interfere

No one to get in my way here

Taking off my suit with the blue bird

Thoughts of them falling being stirred

The traffic light gone dark in me

Means I can jump now and be free
