I looked at the clock on the wall again and saw that girl who's supposed to come cover my shift is 15 minutes late now. I sighed and kept waiting tables and then she walked in and said, "I am so sorry, Maddy. My car broke down."

      I said, "I would believe that, Alyssa. If you actually had a car."

      Then she rolled her eyes and I finished working the last 15 minutes of the shift and then I grabbed my bag and clocked out and left the diner. I ran out to my car and got in and sighed since I know that my little brother Scott, who's also the True Alpha is going to yell at me for being late to another one of his dumb pack meetings. I put the keys in the ignition and turned them, but the car wouldn't start. I groaned and tried again. It still didn't start. I sighed and then I walked to my ex boyfriend Derek's loft which is where we have all the pack meetings slowly. On the way there it started raining and I yelled, "OH COME ON! REALLY?!"

      I made it to the loft in about 2 hours covered in mud after I slipped and fell a couple times. I walked up the stairs to his loft and knocked on the door. Scott opened it and started to lecture me about being on time. I said, "Scott, I am wet and tired. I walked all the way here because my car wouldn't start and I am covered in mud. Plus just get on with the stupid meeting, so that I can go home and get out of these clothes. At least I came here instead of going home and getting out of these clothes like I wanted to."

He rolled his eyes, but got back to the meeting. I walked inside before I looked around and saw my ex-boyfriend Derek there with his new girlfriend Braeden causing me to look at my feet. I tried to listen to Scott, but I also can't because I get bored easily. No I don't have ADHD. I have ADD which is attention deficit disorder which means I get distracted and bored easily. I thought getting the bite would help, but it didn't. It made it worse. I looked around at Scott and his friends/pack which consisted of Stiles, Lydia , Liam, Mason, Corey , Ethan, Jackson, Malia, Theo, Derek, Peter, Bradaen, Deaton, Jordan, Chris, Rafael, Noah and Melissa. I leaned against the wall watching them come up with a plan to do nothing to fight the new enemy in town. I asked, "So your plan is to sit here and do nothing?"

     Scott looked at me and said, "We're waiting for them to make the first move, so that we can see what we are working with. We're the strongest pack here. Especially after we handled Monroe."

      I nodded and said, "Okay. You're the Alpha."

      He nodded and said, "Now this meeting is over. Let's go home."

      I nodded and then our mom, Melissa, gave me a ride home since I still live at home with her and our father Rafael right now. When we got home, I went straight inside before I took a shower and washed all the mud off before going straight to bed skipping dinner since I was so tired.

@Aeilani suggested that I add more details in my chapters, so I thought that I would go back and do that today since I am off of work and everything.
