When the wolf doesn't pounce first I start charging him and instantly I hear a voice making me stop in my tracks.
"Wait wait wait! Don't please, don't kill me!" He whimpers thinking I might kill him but I tilt my head staring at him.
"Who are you?" I ask growling.
"I'm sorry I didn't respond earlier I was just scared," He admits and I sigh when I slowly change back making sure I don't break any bones so now I'm standing in front of him butt naked.
"I asked you who you were," I admit when he changes back as well and stands there slightly smiling.
"I'm Junior Palmer. Alpha William had me follow you to make sure you wouldn't get hurt," Junior admits and I let out a huge sigh.
"Did you have to scare the shit out of me?!" I growl when he steps back and then chuckles.
"I'm sorry Miss Dakota. I didn't mean to scare the shit out of you," Junior admits and I sigh once again as I start walking back towards the house and he follows.
"I swear I thought you were a rouge and I was tempted to kill you," I admit and Junior sighs.
"I really am sorry," Junior admits and I smile.
"It's fine Juni. Just don't scare me like that. Now I need new clothes," I chuckle making Junior chuckle.
"What's with the nickname?" Junior asks and I shrug.
"Doesn't matter. Now how old are you?" I ask and Junior bites his lip before answering.
"I'm nineteen," Junior admits and I burst out laughing.
"Are you serious?" I ask after I've stopped laughing and he nods.
"Yes I'm serious. Why?" Junior asks and I shake my head.
"Ah don't worry about it. Let's just go get some new clothes," I admit as we continue walking to the house, completely butt naked.
"I'm sorry again for scaring you Miss Dakota," Junior admits and I chuckle.
"It's fine Juni. Now tell me, when did Will recruit you?" I ask and Junior sighs.
"After he got rid of Riaz. I heard he almost killed you, so Alpha William banned him from this pack and forced him to leave," Junior admits.
"And that's where you come in and take his place," I say when Junior nods.
"Yes, exactly," Junior smiles and I smile back.
"Well Juni, I like you a hell of a lot better than Riaz," I admit and Junior flushes in embarrassment.
"Your to sweet Miss Dakota. No wonder Alpha William is always watching you like your his," Junior says and I shiver.
"Well I'm not his. Not yet anyways," I admit and Junior sighs.
"Just don't ever think about rejecting Alpha William," Junior admits becoming very serious.
"I won't ever reject Will," I admit and Junior slightly smiles.
"Good to hear," Junior mumbles.
"Why do you care?" I ask and Junior runs a hand through his hair.
"Because I don't want Alpha William to end up like me. Broken hearted and alone for life," Junior admits and my eyes widen.
"Oh Juni. I'm sorry I didn't know," I apologize and Junior waves it off.
"It's okay Miss Dakota. Her name was Clare, she was young and rebellious. She wanted to find her mate as fast and soon as possible. She didn't want to be with her parents so she wanted a mate. When she found out her one and only best friend which was me, was her mate she instantly pulled away from me, distanced herself, and then weeks later, she rejected me as her mate and then disappeared that night," Junior admits and when I look at him I see tears welling up in his eyes.
"Junior, I will never do that to William. I promise you I won't reject him. I will keep this promise, and if I end up breaking it you have permission to kill me," I admit looking and seeing the house coming into view.
"I won't kill you Miss Dakota. I couldn't even if you did reject Alpha William. Your my friend, my family, and I wouldn't kill you," Junior admits and tears well up in my eyes.
"Juni, I swear your like a brother I've never had," I admit when tears slide down Juniors cheeks.
"And your like a sister I've always wanted," Junior admits when he wipes away his tears and I try to hold mine in.
"Now let's go get some new clothes and then we can hang out at the house and do whatever," I turn and smile at Junior, and he turns and looks at me.
"Sounds like a good idea, Miss Dakota," Junior says smiling back at me.
