The Alphas Teen Mate (14)
"Please don't run from me," William says as I slowly back away from him scared.
"There's no way I'm your mate," I say and William sighs.
"You're my mate Dakota," William admits and Rao sighs.
"Did you know about this?!" I growl and Rao whimpers scared of my voice.
"I'm sorry Dakota. I'm really sorry I should've told you," Rao admits and I growl louder making her whimper again.
"You should've told me! You hid this from me and didn't think to tell me!?" I growl pissed off at her.
"I know Dakota I know, and I'm very sorry. I just thought if I kept this from you that you would accept William when he would decide to tell you," Rao admits and I sigh.
"I'm highly disappointed in you Rao. I thought we had more trust than that," I admit and Rao whimpers as I keep my distance from William.
"Dakota please," William begs and I shake my head.
"Don't. Just please don't. I need time to think Will. If you can just give me that," I whimper and he sighs.
"I'll give you time. Just please don't run from me," William admits and I slightly smile.
"I'll never run from you Will. I promise you," I say as I turn my back on him and leave his office finding Alec waiting.
"Are you okay?" Alec asks as I start heading towards the stairs and he follows.
"Well you probably heard everything so you should know," I groan as he chuckles softly.
"I do know, but you shouldn't take to long trying to figure everything out," Alec admits and I stop in my tracks and face him.
"How would you know?" I ask and Alec sighs running a hand through his hair.
"It's a very long story, and I'll tell you about it sometime just not now. Anyways you should make up you mind before wasting to much time," Alec says and I sigh understanding where he's going with this.
"I just need some time to think about it. It just shocked me and I'd just like to be left alone to think," I admit and Alec nods.
"Go for a walk. It's nice out and it'll help you think when your alone," Alec says and I smile as we downstairs.
"Thanks Alec, and I think I might do that. I'll see you around," I admit as I head towards the front door and head outside for a walk.
"I'm sorry Dakota. I didn't mean to break your trust," Rao whimpers and I sigh tying my thick blonde hair up into a messy bun, to get it out of my face.
"I accept your apology Rao, and I'm sorry for yelling at you like that. That was really wrong of me," I admit and Rao sniffles.
"It's okay, you were angry and you had a right to yell at me," Rao admits and sniffs again.
"No it wasn't okay Rao. I'm really sorry, and I hope you can forgive me," I sigh when I walk faster feeling as someone is following me.
"I'll always forgive you Dakota," Rao admits and I growl making her growl.
"Someone's following me," I growl as I make sure not to alert them that I know they're following me.
"What do we do?" Rao asks and I look over seeing an empty barn.
"I don't know, but I'm tempted to run to that barn so I have cover to change," I admit and Rao chuckles.
"Or you could call someone," Rao admits and I roll my eyes.
"No I'll pass on that offer," I admit and Rao sighs.
"Okay fine! To the barn!" Rao announces as I take off running over to the barn and instantly feel the one following me growl.
"We need to change now!" I yell and Rao growls.
"Then stop running!" Rao yells when I stop in my tracks and slowly change into my wolf howling out in pain, because of how long I haven't changed.
"This feels amazing," I admit and Rao squeals.
"You should change more often!" Rao announces and I growl pounding my paws against the soft dirt.
"I will, since I'm free from mom finally," I admit when I look over to I front of me seeing the wolf that was following me.
"Who are you?" I growl holding my ground but I hear no response back.
"Get ready for a fight Dakota cause I can feel one is bound to happen," Rao admits and I growl pounding all four of my paws.
"I've been ready for a fight," I admit as I stand my ground waiting for the other wolf to pounce first.
