"Promise me, both of you will be safe?" I ask as Zara and Fallen get ready to head out.
"Of course we will," Zara smiles and Fallen rolls her eyes, after tying her hair up.
"I don't, because there's a good chance I could be killed," Fallen admits and Zara smacks her arm, hard.
"What the fuck Fallen?!" Zara growls and Fallen shrugs, not phased by being smacked.
"You know I'm right," Fallen says and I whimper, wishing she wasn't right.
"Well then please be safe. If you two don't come back, I don't know what will happen," I admit when Zara smirks, and Fallen sighs.
"Don't you worry Dakota, we will come back in one piece," Zara says pulling me in for a quick, tight hug.
"You better," I whisper in her ear before she pulls back and pops her knuckles.
"We will also bring back his head, revenge for Darian," Fallen smiles and I slightly smile back, relieved.
"Don't get hurt dummy," Owen says walking past me and bear hugging Zara.
"I won't get hurt, I love you," Zara whispers and Owen shivers. Believing this will be the last time seeing your loved one alive, hurts.
"I love you too. Come back to me alive," Owen says when she pulls out of his grip, and turns her back on him, leaving the house with Fallen.
"She will be safe. I've known them my whole life. They've got each other's backs," I reassure him and he sighs.
"Did they already leave?" Kane asks rushing into the family room.
"Yeah, why?" I ask and she groans, quickly getting ready to head out after them.
"I have to be out there with them," Kane says and I grab her arm, tightly.
"They left you, so you wouldn't be in harms way," I admit when Kane relaxes and I let go of her arm.
"Why?" Kane asks and I let out a deep breath before answering her.
"Because, they've accepted you as family. And they will do anything, and I mean anything to keep their family safe," I state, tears now welling up in her eyes.
"Fuck," Kane groans wiping away the tears.
"They already head out?" William asks entering the family room with of course, Valentina following behind him.
"What is she doing here?" I ask crossing my arms over my chest and Kane growls.
"Ah Valentina," Owen scoffs.
"She came to apologize to you," William says and I roll my eyes, not convinced.
"I'm sorry Luna, I let myself go and it was wrong of me," Valentina apologizes and I raise an eyebrow surprised.
"Seriously?" I ask and she nods.
"Tsh," Kane coughs out, glaring at her.
"Accepted, it happens again and your out," I admit and she smiles gratefully.
"Thank you," Valentina says, before taking her leave to go and finish up things.
"Yeah they did already leave," I admit answering Williams question from before.
"They going to be safe?" William asks and I shrug not knowing.
"I told them to, but highly doubtful that they will," I admit chuckling when he wraps his arms around my waist and lays his head onto my shoulder, taking in my scent.
"Ew love, get that shit out of here," Dylan says fake gagging when we turn seeing her coming into the family room with Amberle.
"Aren't you suppose to be watching the front gate?" William asks, and Amberle groans.
"I had Fredrick take my place for a little," Amberle says honestly.
"You should be watching the front gate Amberle, not your brother," William sighs, pulling away from me.
"I need a break eventually," Amberle growls, when William runs a hand through his hair.
"Twenty minutes, and then you need to be back out there. Got it?" William says and Amberle nods.
"Yes Alpha," Amberle sarcastically says as I hold in a small laugh.
"Now, I have some things to attend to. I'll see you tonight?" William asks after kissing my forehead softly.
"Yeah," I whisper, as he takes his leave and Dylan rolls her eyes.
"Gross," Dylan mumbles and Kane laughs.
"I think it's cute," Kane admits pulling me in for a side hug. As the thoughts of Zara and Fallen being okay run through my mind, I wonder what William meant by seeing me tonight?
