As I sit in the livingroom, I wait for Faris to come back so I can tell him I'm leaving.
"So.....how long do you think we are going to wait on him?" Rao asks and I shrug sighing.
"I have no idea Rao, I just don't," I admit as I continue sitting there feeling someone stare. I quickly spin around meeting a young boys eyes closely watching me.
"Hello?" I ask and he instantly bolts away hiding behind a shelf.
"He's scared," Rao says and I roll my eyes knowing that already.
"I won't bite, I promise," I slightly smile as he comes out from hiding and slowly makes his way towards me.
"You should let me in control," Rao growls, and I roll my eyes.
"You'll scare him even more, so how about no?" I chuckle slightly when he finally approaches me, and I bend down to his height.
"Hi," He softly whispers and I smile at him.
"Whats your name?" I ask and he shrugs.
"That's Nathanial, but everyone calls him Nate," I hear one of the girls say, and when I look up I see Birdie watching us.
"He's not socialized enough," I say glaring at her.
"That's because it's his choice to be around others to socialize," Birdie shrugs and I growl standing back up straight.
"He's a child, he needs a guardian to show him!" I yell and Birdie rolls her eyes.
"His guardians are dead, so he's on his own to learn that shit," Birdie growls, clearly annoyed at me now.
"No, someone else needs to step up or I'm taking him with me," I warn and Birdie snickers.
"Try and take him then, I dare you," Birdie says when I look down at Nathanial.
"You want to come with me, and I'll take care of you?" I ask smiling down at him, making him slightly smile back.
"Can we do fun stuff?" Nathanial asks and I nod.
"Touch him and I'll kill you," Birdie growls when I look back up at her and growl louder.
"You will not stop me," I warn as I feel Rao push trying to break free for a fight.
"Let me at this bitch!" Rao growls as I hold her back.
"He is not yours to claim guardianship over," Birdie states and I chuckle.
"Well clearly he's not yours either, so I'm stepping up and taking him as mine, and you will not stop me," I growl as I softly grab Nathanial's hand and start walking with him to the front door. Before I can even react Nathanial's hand is ripped from my grip, and I'm shoved to the floor.
"I told you not to touch him," Birdie says when I roar as I push off the floor and spin around facing her.
"Let me in control! I'm done playing these games," Rao growls as she pushes harder against my skin wanting to be free.
"That's it, I'm done playing around with you bitch," I growl as Nathanial cries.
"Making children cry is wrong, let me at her!" Rao yells and I sigh finally giving in, and letting her take control. She shakes out her arms before popping them and then cracking her neck.
"Ohh it feels so good to be back," Rao chuckles glaring at Birdie.
"Ahh so you are her wolf, correct?" Birdie asks and Rao rolls her eyes not in the mood.
"How about you hand over the kid, and I won't beat your ass?" Rao asks and Birdie laughs, it echoing throughout the livingroom.
"She's taunting you Rao, watch it," I warn and Rao sighs popping her knuckles.
"That's it, your getting your ass beat," Rao growls lunging forward tackling Birdie to the floor, as Nathanial hides behind one of the couches.
"Ugh! Get off me!" Birdie yells growling as Rao pins her and glares right at her.
"Hand over the kid, and I won't pound your face in," Rao warns and Birdie groans trying to get free but can't.
"No, he's not yours," Birdie says and Rao sighs.
"I'm guessing you didn't hear what I said," Rao says and Birdie growls.
"I'm not handing him over," Birdie announces and that's when Rao punches her in the face.
"Just stop talking," Rao groans rolling her eyes in annoyance.
"Fuck you," Birdie growls instantly pushing Rao off her and throwing her into the wall.
"I specifically told you to watch out," I sigh and Rao growls.
"Just shut up Dakota!" Rao yells pushing away from the wall and glares at Birdie.
"You ready for a real fight?" Birdie asks a smirk formed on her lips.
"I'm born ready for any fight, bring it!" Rao growls.
