After the strange bit of the ceremony,  we changed into some more comfortable clothes and went outside to a camp fire.

I was in a pair of black jeggings and a blue flannel shirt and Casey was wearing black shorts and a white tee.  He looked so hot in white tops.

"Annabelle!" Zia called as we walked outside hand in hand.

"Hello sweetie" I smiled.

She got up and ran over to us.

"Can you sing us another song please?" She asked with wide eyes.

I scratched the back of my neck. "I er. .. I don't really-"

"Go on love. I wanna her you beautiful voice again, as do the pack" Casey interrupted.

I sighed. "Okay fine"

The pack cheered and Zia gave me a microphone.

"I guess I've not got a choice " I mumbled. 

Casey chuckled.

I nodded at Alexis who fiddled about with a mixing desk ,that was under a gazebo, and she played the backing track to the song the Power of Love by Gabrielle Aplin. I think it suited the moment rather well.

Casey started singing along with me when we reached the second chorus  and I hadn't noticed someone had given him a microphone.
I smiled at him.

Aa the song finished,everyone cheered and I blushed slightly. Casey pulled me into a side hug and kissed my head.

"I love you" he whispered in my ear, sending a shiver down my spine.

"I love you too" I smiled.

Jace walked over to us with a huge smile on his face.

"Jace!" I grinned, giving him a hug. 

"I'm so proud of you! Look at my lil plum now! All grown up!" He chuckled. 

"Jace, you sound like a proud mother. Stop!" I whined. Of course this only encouraged him further.

"Look at my baby! All grown up with a handsome man who I am sure will..." I clamped my hand over his mouth to stop him talking, making both him and Casey laughed.

"Maybe we should go and meet some people. We'll talk later Jace" Casey chuckled.

Jace nodded. "See ya later, Plum" He grinned and walked in the direction of the bar. I rolled my eyes. That man and his alcohol. Honestly.

"Case, Belle. How are you both? " Nick asked, hugging me and shaking hands with his brother.

"Great thanks." Casey said, hugging me into his side.

"What about you Annabelle? How are you holding up?" He asked.

"Great actually, thanks" I said, smiling.

"Good. I'm glad. I will let you get on. You know where I am if you need me. Either of you"

He hugged us both and left to his group of friends.

"Hello alpha. Luna" Someone greeted from behind us.

The girl looked to be about my age and she was quite pretty. She had bright emerald eyes, brown hair and she had black rimmed glasses and cute freckles on her nose. She gave me a warm smile. 

"Hi" She greeted. "We haven't met. I'm Isabelle. One of Casey's friends." 

I smiled. "Hi. It's nice to meet you" 

She smiled at Casey and told us she had to go. Casey hadn't mentioned her before. I wondered why. I shrugged. I looked at Casey and he smiled at me and pulled me in the direction of the elders. I gulped. I was worried about meeting the elders.

Casey greeted them and I stood awkwardly trying to make it look like I wasn't trying to hide behind him. One of the elders noticed me and I cussed silently in my head. I plastered on a fake smile and shook his hand that he offered to me. He started blabbering on about something I didn't really care about but I just smiled and nodded my head in the right places. Everyone I met in the pack seemed to accept me and no one showed any signs of disliking me.

The night flew by as we spent our time with the pack sharing stories and playing around with the children. A bunch of the adults and the children ended up playing a huge game of hide and seek in the woods and when we finished it was time to put the children to bed and go for the pack run.

"Ladies and gentlemen I would now like to invite you on a pack run to officially accept our Luna, Annabelle." Casey announced, with a smile.

Everyone shifted and bowed their heads in submission. Casey shifted beside me and nudged me to shift too. I grinned and let the feeling of shifting flow through me and it had a different feeling to it now. I felt joy to shift around my pack and I felt protective of them but most importantly, I felt like I belonged here. I felt like a leader.

A wolfy grin spread across my face and I stood tall and proud beside Casey. Our backs were facing the pack but we knew and trusted in them that they were all stood in line, awaiting Casey's signal. Zed stood beside Casey in wolf form and Alexis did the same next to me. We both nodded at each other and Casey let out the signal which was a howl. The howl echoed around the trees and the other wolves copied their alpha. I joined in last and everyone started jogging and we broke into a sprint as we entered the treeline.

As we ran, wolves yipped, barked and howled in joy. Casey would let out a bark every now and then, his tongue falling out his mouth in a grin. I smiled and yipped too. Casey, Zed, Alexis and me stayed in our line at the front and led our pack through the trees until the cliff was in sight. We slowed our pace gently to a stop to avoid people crashing into each other and we took our formation again as we howled out to the moon.

My howl was not one of acceptance. It was a howl of joy and I was calling out to my mother, asking her if she was proud of me. She appeared in the shadows as just a light so no one else noticed but I sure did. I grinned and let my tongue fall out of my mouth and cuddled into Casey's side.

The rest of the wolves howls were a promise to the moon Goddess that they would love and protect their new Luna and hearing them made my heart swell with pride and joy. The whole night was an emotional and joyful night that I would remember for the rest of my life.

After the ceremony had finished, me and Casey went back to our room where we were lay in bed cuddling and reflecting on the night. My eyes were closed as I enjoyed the warmth my mate's arms enveloped me in and I let out a satisfied sigh.

"That was a big sigh. What's wrong?" Casey asked as he continued to run his fingers through my hair.

I smiled. "Nothing. I was just thinking about how lucky and happy I am to be your Luna"

He grinned and gave me a little squeeze which earned a little giggle from me.

After a few moments of a comfortable silence, Casey turned to face me.

"Thank you for tonight love" he smiled. "The ceremony was sprung on you the other day and you haven't had much chance to prepare at all. This week has been very stressful and I'm so proud of you for everything you have done to keep the pack running smoothly and protecting our pack mates"

I leaned forward and pecked his lips. "That's my job" I grinned.

He didn't like that I pulled away from the kiss so soon and pulled me forward again, connecting out lips in a much deeper, passionate kiss. I smiled into the kiss and wrapped my hands around the back his neck. He pushed me down, gently, on the bed and trailed kisses down my neck and collar bone and back to my lips again.

He stopped for a moment, his eyes black with lust. "Are you ready?" He asked, his voice gruff.

I nodded unable to trust my voice to answer.

He pulled my shirt off and trailed kisses along my chest. "You're so perfect" he growled.

He pulled my trousers off revealing my legs.

"You're so beautiful" he kissed me all over my legs.

"And all mine" he growled, ripping my underwear off and finally completing the mate bond.
