"Why did i leave that room?" I sighed walking through a set of doors into another empty corridoor. "This place is like a maze. I'm so bloody confused." I muttered to myself.

I followed the empty corridor I was currently in. The only sound was the soft thuds of my feet hitting the floor. It felt very errie and I wasn't a big fan of the tense atmosphere. I brushed off my thoughts , knowing that I was just over thinking and carried on walking around the building. It had to lead out into the main part of the building somewhere, I just had to find it.

The building was shockingly bigger than I had first thought. I knew it was big but it seemed the further I walked there was just more and more of the building to discover. It reminded me a bit of a being at a new school.

I started singing as I walked through the surprisingly beautifully constructed halls, trying to entertain myself. It was a song that my mother used to sing a lot as she made food in the kitchen. She said she found it to be inspiring and empowering. She was right of course because it really was.

I pushed the air out of my lungs and the notes were carried down the corridor. I got very into it and was acting as though I was in a music video. Come on, don't tell me you don't do the same in the kitchen or in your bedroom.

I smiled as I danced my way to the end of the corridor and did a little spin before opening the next set of doors enthusiastically, like how they would in a musical,singing the next lines.

As I pushed the last notes out, I walked through another pair of double doors and my arms went up into that grand finale pose that musical singers always do when its the end of the song and my eyes were closed as I finished. I sighed happily and grinned before opening my eyes to be greeted by hundreds upon hundreds of wide eyes, starring directly at me. My smile fell and my face heated up like a furnace. Oh shit. I had blown it hadn't I. The whole pack thought I was a lunatic, there was no way I would be accepted now- Applause? I frowned and looked up to see everyone cheering and clapping me.

"Your voice" someone breathed from the front of the crowd. "Your voice is incredible"

I realised I had found my way back to the main foyer that me and Casey had entered through the day I arrived at the pack and people must've heard me singing my way down the corridors. I smiled at the guy who complimented my voice.

"Thank you" I decided that introducing myself as Luna may have been a bad idea so I just grinned and said: "I'm Annabelle" I offered my hand for a hand shake.

"Kyle" He grinned, shaking my hand.

Casey soon came out of the Alpha's quarters and frowned. "Everyone back to what you were doing!" he ordered, leaning on the balcony.

Everyone followed the orders of their alpha swiftly and calmly. Once they had, Casey's eyes fell upon me and Kyle. He seemed to sigh in relief. He descended the stairs and pulled me into a hug. "I couldn't find you when I got back and I was worried that something had happened to you" he sighed.

"Well I'm okay. I got lost and then I um, danced and sang my way to here" I laughed, scratching the back of my neck.

"She really has a great voice Alpha. You should be proud of her" Kyle grinned at me and Casey.

I thanked him with a smile and reached for Casey's hand to lead him away and get him to show me the kitchen but he tensed up and growled out loudly. He was clearly mind linking someone. Suddenly, he broke out of the link, shouting out orders. " Take Annabelle to the saftey room. Now!" He growled to Kyle.

My eyes widened. "Casey what's going on?" There was evident panic in my voice and I tried to grab his hand but Kyle grabbed me and tugged me with him. As we started running down the corridors, I glanced back to see Casey shift in the main lobby and race off outside.

"Okay if he isn't going to tell me what is happening you will. Kyle what the fuck is going on?" I growled out slightly, in frustration.

"Hunters" was all he said.

My eyes widened. I shouldn't be running away from this. I was the Luna and I was supposed to protect the pack, not run away from the fight. I understood that Casey wanted to protect me but we were supposed to lead together and protect the pack side by side.

I was broken from my thoughts when bullets were being shot at us through the windows. On instinct, I pushed Kyle down out of the firing line and crouched down near the windows. " Kyle we can't run away from this we will be dead in seconds. They have machine guns" I glanced out of the window and ducked before a bullet collided with my face.

"The alpha said-" i cut him off.

"Forget what the Alpha said! We aren't going to survive if we keep running. We have to fight."

Before he could stop me I had shifted and jumped through the broken window, into the line of fire...
