Radiance Collins' POV
"Radiance! Since when did you get the mark? Who the f*ck marked you?" Sarah was yelling at me, there was a small hint of excitement. I came home at one in the morning, and she wasn't too pleased. At that moment, I was tongue-tied. She knew. How?
"What mark?" I acted as if I didn't know. I did catch a glimpse of how my mark looked like, and it was just the mark of two holes, with the initials of BC, which I assume it stands for 'Bentley Cole'. It hurts like a bitch when someone touches it, but when Bentley touches it, it feels pleasurable.
"Earth to Radiance! Where the hell did you go?" She frowned.
"I was with a friend." She deepened her frown.
"He marked you, didn't he?" I'm confused. She knew? How is she so certain that someone marked me, and not a tattoo?
"What are you talking about? There's no mark." I continued. She stared at me, then pulled down it down her turtle neck sweater to the right side with as much strength as she can. There was a similar mark on her shoulder with the initials of CK. My eyes widen. I looked at her, then the mark. It all made sense.
"Y-you're mated to a werewolf." I whispered, more to myself.
"I'm a werewolf too. Well I was. My wolf died 18 months ago. I miss her." She stated, tears threatening to spill.
"Come here." I hugged her. She hugged me back, sniffing. I rubbed circles around her back, telling her that it's okay.
"Waaait," I said, dragging the 'a' longer than I should have. "Uncle Caden is an Alpha too?" I said in disbelief. She nodded and looked proud, probably for her dead wolf for having a mate with a high rank.
"I think there's something you should know." She said after pulling away. A hint of nervousness flashed in her eyes, unsure of whether telling me would be a good choice.
"Spill."
"I'm your biological aunt. And I know where your birth mother is."
I groaned. There she goes again. "Sarah. Even if you're not my biological aunt, I take you as family. It's oka-"
"I'm serious!" That made me stop.
"You knew where my birth mother was, and you hid her from me?" Did she not want me? Was Sarah hiding me from her?
"She didn't want me to tell you. She's afraid that you'll hate her." I felt angry all of the sudden.
See why I think I'm bipolar?
"Why won't I hate her? She probably gave me away." She opened her mouth and closed it.
"You weren't given away, Radiance." She gave me an apologetic squeeze. "You were taken."
"What? Why?" From young, I have been told that I was unwanted. I eventually believed that, I was surrounded by negativity.
Sarah sighed. "You were the few rare werewolves who did not cry after birth. In one of the books that were passed down from generation to generation, only the carrier of Moon Goddess' daughter could do that. You were meant for great things." Great things?
"Great things? What do you mean?" I was confused.
"You'll carry the daughter the Moon Goddess." I was sure my mouth was open into an 'O' shape.
"This has got to be a sick joke," I laughed awkwardly. "How do you even know?" I furrowed my brows.
"You have an imprint of a wolf on your back. It's rare, and only appears to Moon Goddess daughter carriers. That's why they kidnapped you."
"But, why? I'll just carry the daughter, that's all."
"Not only will you be carrying the Moon Goddess' successor, it's also stated that if such people with this imprint were found in the pack, the pack would become 3 times stronger." They kidnapped me for power. No wonder Brenda and Judah got that rich. "You're also not just a human, Radiance. But you'd know it when the time is ripe."
"Am I a werewolf too?" This question was eating me alive.
"I don't know. Your family are late bloomers. But if you are, you'll shift when you least expect it. If don't shift, count yourself lucky. You can live normally, like humans. Witches will cast a spell on you, and deactivate your werewolf genes, so when you do find true love, your off-springs wouldn't have any trace of werewolf blood in their DNA."
"What about my birth father?"
"He's... Dead." My father. I never got to know him. But at the same time, he was never there for me. And he's gone. I'll never get to know him. Never get to feel the fatherly love I've been wanting to experience since I was eight.
I could remember faint memories of my mother singing lullabies to me so I could sleep; My father kissing my cheek every time I cried. But they were faint. I couldn't remember their faces. So I always thought it was Brenda and Judah.
"I want to meet my mother." I barely heard it myself.
"I'm afraid you can't, Radiance. She's an Alpha Female. The pack needs her. She needs to take care of her son. Your brother." I had a brother?
"Please just let me meet her, Sarah." I pleaded. She shook her head.
"Don't make me do this, please."
"I just want to meet my family." I cried.
"I said NO!" Her eyes went white. The candles in the living room lit.
"Sarah, what did you not tell me about you?"
"I'm half witch."

Bentley Cole's POV
'I marked her.' My wolf purred, feeling the connection getting stronger and stronger, although we were getting further and further away from her.
'Yes boy. Now shut it.' He had been going on and on about it, and it's annoying.
'Pack meeting in twenty.' Dad mind linked everyone involved.
'What happened?' I mind linked Dad, using our father-son's link.
'It's the Moonlight Stone Pack. Rouges. They've sent help.'
There's been words. About the Alpha Female giving birth to the Moon Goddess Daughter's carrier. It was devastating, to say the least. The Alpha was a werewolf hunter but because his mate was a werewolf, he gave up being a hunter. The hunters were unhappy about it and decided to team with rouges and attack.
Two years later, they attacked them at night. Stole their daughter, killed their Alpha. They were prepared, just not enough fighters. Many died, but the Alpha Female survived. She had another fetus in her which she didn't knew till two weeks later.
I wasn't really sure how she survived, but I remember something about her having a half witch sister and she cast a spell to keep those who lost their mates to move on with life.
I arrived at the pack house fifteen minutes later. Almost everyone was already present.
"Hey bro!" My beta Ethan called out. It's been awhile since I've seen him, since him and Ellie went on a vacation. They went to celebrate the fact that they found each other three years ago.
It's his thing.
"How's Ellie? She better be doing good." I joked. I know Ethan would treat her right, he loves her.
"Doing better than ever." He winked. I chuckled.
"Thank you all for coming here at such a short notice." Father's voice boomed through the hallway.
"Let's get into the meeting room." We all bowed, considering he is still an Alpha.
Radiance isn't introduced to the pack as Luna yet. But soon.
Very soon.
