Radiance Collins' POV

Four weeks.

Since I moved here.

Sarah and I never talk anymore. We sort of drifted.

"Hey B. You look stressed out, want to talk about it?" I asked Bentley, worry lacing around my words. He unexpectedly showed up at my house and thankfully, Sarah and Uncle Caden were on date night.

"No. The rouges that attacked Moonlight Stone Pack fifteen years ago are back. Since we were allies, we have to help out. It's been physically draining to say the least." He managed to choke out.

"Is there anyway I can help you?"

"You can't even sleep well yourself. Take care of that first."

It is true. After he'd marked me, I've been having a hard time sleeping. I'd usually fish my phone on the nightstand to face-time him. That is, if he's awake which he always were.

"I don't know what's wrong with me. I can't sleep." I confessed.

"That's the mate pull. You can only sleep well with me beside you." Oh. That explains why.

"I'll sleep with you." I blurted. If sleeping with him helps, then I'll do it. "I'll tell Sarah."

"You can't move into the pack house, mea lux. People will be wondering why there's human on our land. Though it will be different since you are carrying my mark."

"Hasn't there been human mates, ever?" I was curious.

"Yes, but not for Alphas. You're the first ever future human Luna, love. I don't know whether my pack will accept you." He sighed. My heart tingled at my nicknames.

So far, "love" is my favorite.

"I'll prove myself to be worthy. Worthy enough to be their leader." I said with confidence. He paused for a moment.

"Do you have any idea what that meant?" He asked, looking at me seriously and I shook my head.

"It means you'll fight some people in our pack. And you have to make it out alive."

"I'll do anything to be with you, Bentley. And I mean anything. Even if it risks my life." I replied honestly.

He shook his head. "I can't let you take the risk. You mean the world to me, Radiance. I don't know what I'll do without you." He caressed my cheek. The sparks were stronger now.

"Please B. I can and I will make it out alive. Let me help you." He shook his head again. "God darn it, I want to help!" I was beyond pissed. My breathing was ragged, so I took deep breaths to calm myself down.

"It's you."

"What?" I frowned.

"You're the Alpha's missing daughter." I was beyond confused, then Sarah's words rang in my head. "Turn around, Radiance."

"No."

"Turn around, Rad."

"I told you not to call me that!" I snapped.

"I said turn around."

"So long as you prevent me from proving my worth, I won't." I crossed my arms and huffed childishly.

'Do as he tells you to, Radiance.' A feminine voice said in my head.

'Who are you?'

'You'll know soon. Turn around.'

I sighed in defeat and turned around. Bentley pushed my hair to the side.

"It can't be." He whispered, I almost didn't catch it.

"I am. It isn't such a big deal, really. I'd just be carrying Moon Goddess' successor, that's all. We just need to let as little people know about this. Though it'd be mission impossible since I'd be Luna." I looked at him straight in the eye. He sighed then nodded and chuckled.

But I knew that he clearly knew something I didn't.

I smiled at him. He smiled back, kissing my forehead. I sighed, and leaned into his chest. If only time could stop here.

"I love you, mea lux. I'd do anything to protect you. Even if it cost my life." I don't think I was suppose to hear that.

Oh. But I did. And I was going to figure out what he meant by doing "anything to protect you. Even if it cost my life."

Bentley Cole's POV

It is her. But, how? She shouldn't be. When she yelled at me, white light radiated off her. She was literally a glow stick.

Being mates with her meant unexpected attacks, that is, if words start spreading that Radiance is the Moon Goddess' daughter carrier. We need to keep her as hidden as possible. But if she's going to be the Luna, she can't be hidden.

She's so much more than just 'carrying the Moon Goddess' successor'.

'Protect her at all costs.' Alex growled.

'No shit wolfie.' He growled at me, then he put up his wall.

"You want to do anything?" I asked her gently.

"Let's go to the pack house. The sooner the later. I'll leave a note for Sarah, and let me pack. Then we should be good to go."

"I'll help you to pack." I offered.

"It's okay, I can pack it myself."

"Let me help." I looked at her.She sighed in defeat. "Fine. Just make sure that you don't touch or take any of my bra or undies." I blushed a little at that.

"No promises. And who ever say 'undies' anymore? It's fine princess, I think it's adorable." I winked at her and she blushed. I kissed her cheek before she went to take a pen to write her the note.

I walked towards her wardrobe and it was folded neatly. I found a nike travel bag and picked shirts that were decent. I did see some really short shorts. Being the already possessive Alpha, I obviously ignored those and took some jeans. I did pick some shorts that weren't that short though.

The bag was already half-filled when I was done. I roamed around her room, finding some books on the shelf. The room itself is plain; white walls, white bedsheets, white duvet, and white pillows.

"Earth to Bentley!" She snapped her fingers in front of me. She was holding onto her school bag and other important stuffs.

"Hi." I said awkwardly. "Got your undergarments?"

"Yes. Lets go." She was struggling with the stuff she was holding. I took the nike travel bag from her, lessening the weight. She murmured a 'thanks' before walking down the stairs.

I open the trunk and put her bag in. She slid into the passenger seat and I slid into the driver one.

"I could've opened the door for you, you know."

"I'd be old by then." She joked.

"Old with or without kids?"

"With your kids, obviously." My heart skipped a beat. I kissed her cheek before starting the engine.

"I like the sound of that."

"The sound of us having kids, or the sound of engine?" I chuckled.

"Totally the sound of engine." She fake gasped and I laughed at her. She's so adorable.

"You should sleep. It's going to take a while for us to get there." I told her. She reached out for my left hand and I gladly took her hand. She sighed in content before falling into sleep. I looked at her, then started driving towards the pack house. Oh Moon Goddess, please make my pack accept her.
