Growls and screams enveloped my ears. It came from the earpiece. Natitiyak kong nagsimula na ang laban sa Winston. I could almost hear their roars like I am only few steps away. I want to go there and fight with them, with Duke and the pack, but I have still unfinished business in here. As much as I want to end this as soon as possible, soon at this moment is uncertain. I angrily threw my blades to the hunters in front of me while I heared Gesa's scream. Some have guns, some has their swords. Pinulot ko ang dalawang samurai mula sa sahig at hinarap ang grupong nakaharang sa aking daan patungo sa opisina ni Gustin. I bet there are twenty of them in here. Huminga ako ng malalim nang mapagtantong kinakalaban ko mismo ang angkan na iniingatan ng aking ama. But then, the traitor came from his own clan, too. And that is Gustin.

Sinugod ako ng mga hunter. I slashed them with the swords I have. Paunti-unti silang napapahinga sa paanan ko. I felt the fire within me growing as I get closer to the office. Agad kong binitawan ang hawak na samurai at hinugot sa aking likod ang dalawang baril. I aimed at their head and immediately pulled the trigger, isang bala sa bawat hunter. Paulit-ulit ang pagbaril ko sa mga nasa pinakaharap. Sa huling bala ay mas lalo akong nataranta. There's still almost fifteen of them. Napailing ako at inilabas ang isang bomba na nakakabit sa akign vest. I pulled the pin and immediately jumped from the railing to the fourth floor.

Napatakip ako ng tainga nang marinig ang malakas na pagsabog. Nahulong ang ibang haligi ng gusali sa aking posisyon. That is one of a hell bomb!

As soon as I recovered, I got up and picked two samurais on the floor before heading towards the office. Tinakbo ko ang hagdanan patungo doon. I was in the middle of the stairs when a bunch of hunters appeared with their guns.

"Oh shit!" I cursed and turned my feet away from them. Wala akong ibang mapupuntahan kundi bumalik sa baba. Tila hindi maubos-ubos ang kanilang bilang habang pinapaputukan parin ako ng mga bala. I hid behind the wall as they fire me up with their guns. Umiling ako at nagdesisyong bumaba ulit. I don't know if there are still stocks in there but I need to risk. Agaran akong tumakbo palayo sa grupong iyon at tinungo ang ikalawang palapag.

I kicked the door twice before it opened. Bumungad sa'kin ang iba't ibang klase ng baril. I grabbed pistols and grenades from the first room and walked out. Sa ikatlong pinto ng palapag ako tumungo. "Okay then. Balikan mo sina Louise sa library. She's with Helen already. Haharapin ko si Gustin sa labas." I told her. Nag-aalangan man ay sumunod ito sa aking utos. We parted ways at the first floor. She headed towards the laboratory while I made my way towards the ground.

Hindi pa man tuluyang nakakalapit ay nakita ko sina Theron at Uncle Rayman. Parehong nakatali ang dalawa sa magkahiwalay na poste. Gustin's standing between the two. Wala akong sinayang na oras at agad lumapit sa kanila.

The three turned their heads towards my direction.

"Gabriel, no!" Theron shouted from his spot. Hindi ko iyon pinakinggan at patuloy parin sa paglapit. Pinadausdos ko sa lupa ang dalawang samurai na hawak ko habang nakatitig kay Gustin. I could almost see my eyes burning intensely because of anger. Pilit kong itinuon ang aking atensyon sa nakangising si Gustin at binalewala ang mga sigaw galing sa aking earpiece.

I heard Duke's voice from the earpiece. He asked Theron what was it.

"Gabriel heading directly towards Gustin! Damn it! Gabriel, papalibutan ka nila dito!" I hear Theron's answer few steps from my point and also on the earpiece.

"That explains why there are only few hunters in here! They trapped you in there!" sigaw ni Karleen ang aking narinig. I removed my earpiece and throw it away from me. Ngayon ay tanging boses ni Theron ang naririnig ko, pilit akong pinipigilan sa aking plano.

I didn't mind him. I glanced at Uncle Rayman, unconsciously tied on the wooden post. Mas napahigpit ang pagkakahawak ko sa aking samurai.

And when I'm only twenty steps away from Gustin, that's when I heard hundreds of footsteps coming towards my point. Mula sa mga gusali, sa kakahuyan, at sa lahat ng sulok ng Headquarters. Napatigil ako upang pagtuonan iyon ng pansin.

I stare at the buildings around. It was like a cue to my senses, my sight straightly adjusted to let me see a clearer view of the hunters running from almost all the point of the Headquarters as they head towards my place. Ilang sandali pa, isa-isa akong pinalibutan ng daang-daang hunters. All of their eyes are bloodshot and glistening red. Few seconds had passed, the steps stopped. I am inside a big circle of drugged hunters. Ibang-iba ang kulay ng kanilang mga mata, hindi ito ordinaryong droga lamang. I knew from that second that they enhanced the red pill which they injected to the innocent hunters. Napatingin ako sa mga ito habang tahimik na nakapalibot sa'kin. Some are still kids, some of them are the students I myself have trained. Ang iba'y kasama ko pa noon sa training. I'm thankful I didn't made any friends with them. I don't know if I will be able to kill innocent lives - the lives of people I once treated and protected as my family.

Ang malakas na tawa ni Gustin ang pumukaw sa aking atensyon. I stared at him in disbelief. The one I looked up to as a great leader and second father has gone. He's insane, totally insane.

"You won't win against me, Gabriel!" sigaw nito mula sa kanyang pwesto. I glance at Theron and he's intently looking at me with his tired and pleading eyes. I heard him mouthed 'leave' but I didn't make any move. Iniwas ko ang aking tingin sa kanya at napatingin muli kay Gustin.

Too late, Theron. We're trapped in here.

"Of course, I can win against you, old man. Uugod-ugod ka na. What makes you think you'll beat me?" pang-iinsulto ko sa kanya. I succeeded when I saw him scream in anger. But then again, his scream turned into a hysterical laugh.

"Your father didn't even killed me! Ikaw pa kaya?!" patuya nitong tanong.

"I killed both of your parents Gabriel! What makes you think you can kill me?!" dagdag nito. I gritted my teeth at the thought. Unti-unti ay nag-aalab ang apoy sa aking loob. Tila hindi lang ako ang nagalit niya kundi pati na rin ang lobo ko. I could almost feel my heart beating faster than its original pace. I put all my force on the samurais as I try to calm myself.

Not now, wolf. Not now, I whispered. Unti-unti ay humapa ang init sa katawan ko. I smiled in my mind when I realized my stubborn wolf is cooperating with me this time.

"You want to know how your parents died?!" tanong nito sa'kin. Bastard, you don't need to shout, I can hear you. I want to scream it on his face but I remained calm. Hindi ko nais na marinig kung gaano namatay ang aking mga magulang. But if that lessen his guilt, then I'll let him shout all the things that he wants. Paunti-unti itong lumapit sa'kin. Theron shouted, trying to stop his father but Gustin didn't even pay attention to him. Dire-diretso itong naglakad papunta sa aking pwesto.

"Your mom doesn't love me back!" he shouted. Naningkit ang mata ko dahil doon. My gaze are all on his, frustration, pain, guilt, sadness... all are in his eyes. Ngunit hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit.

"Lorenzo is my friend. He's a great friend. And I can say that I am a good friend to him, too." tumango-tango ito na tila kinukumbinsi ang sarili. Good friend? Halos matawa ako dahil doon. Is that his definition of a friend? Well then, he sucks. Gusto ko siyang sugurin at isampal sa kanyang mukha na hindi iyon ang depinisyon ng isang mabuting kaibigan. But I remained unresponsive. Maging si Theron ay napatigil upang makinig sa kanyang ama. It's never my intention to hear any negative thing about my parents. Para sa'kin ay sapat na ang kwento ni Solene kung paano sila namatay. But every story has the other side, isn't it? If I listened to Solene, then I must listen to Gustin as well. Nevertheless, I won't buy any of his reasons. He killed my parents. He and Dr. Alvarad killed my parents. End of story.

"I don't know how Lorenzo meet Venus. He left the Headquarters alone and return with a very beautiful girl with him. We became friends. Lorenzo, Dr. Alvarad, Venus and I." dagdag nito.

"In a short span of time being with Venus, I fell in love with her." aniya. Her eyes are full of desires and dreams as he utter my mom's name. I can't imagine if Mom would fall for him. Hindi makakaya ng konsensya ko na isang katulad niya ang magiging ama ko.

"And you know what hurts? She fell in love with my closest friend." his voice changed from smooth to rough. I could almost see him throwing glares at me.

"Ginawa ko ang lahat! Pero si Lorenzo parin ang pinili niya! Lorenzo! Lorenzo! It's always been Lorenzo! Palaging siya ang tama, palaging siya ang angat! Good for him that I killed him!" he shouted. His voice echoed in the place. Kating-kati akong patayin siya ngayon but I want him to kill his own self. Gusto kong patayin siya ng kanyang sariling konsensya. Death will be too easy for him. I want him to suffer in his last days of living. Gusto kong maranasan niya ang sakit gaya ng sakit na naramdaman ko noon.

"At ikaw! Ikaw ang bunga ng pagtratraydor nila sa'kin!" itinutok nito sa'kin ang hawak na baril. He smiled crazily. Theron keep on shouting and telling his father to stop but Gustin didn't mind his pleading son. Hindi na ako magtataka kung kaya niya akong patayin. He could even tie his own son, paano pa kaya ako na galing sa kanyang kinamumuhiang tao?

Before he could even pull the trigger, growls echoed in the place. Isa-isang tumalon mula sa ere ang mga lobo mula sa paligid. Nabaling doon ang atensyon ni Gustin. I grabbed the chance to run towards him. I kicked his hand, the one that holds the gun. Tumilapon iyon palayo sa amin. Nang makabawi ay tumalon ako upang gawaran siya ng suntok. I punched his face so hard that he jumped on the air. Nakita ko ang paglagapak ng kanyang katawan sa lupa, hindi gumagalaw.

The rain started to fall. Nagpunta ako kay Theron upang kalasin ang kanyang pagkakatali sa poste. I handed him my gun and ordered him to untie Uncle Rayman and look for Gesa. Agaran nitong sinunod ang aking utos.

Napahawak ako sa samurai na dala at dali-daling pumwesto nang palibutan ako ng mga hunters. I slashed each one of them. Blood spilled from their body, joining the wet soil. Umatake sa aking pang-amoy ang naghalong dugo at basang lupa. Napatingin ako sa isang hunter na akmang sasaksakin ang isang lobo. I grabbed the blades inside my suit and threw it directly to his neck.

Nagpatuloy ang labanan. Mas lumakas ang bugso ng hangin at ng ulan. This is a disadvantage to the hunters. Sa ganitong pagkakataon ay mas napapakinabangan namin ang talas ng aming pandinig. Even our eyesight is an advantage, too.

Muli akong tumalon sa ere at hiniwa ang katawan ng isang hunter sa dalawa. Blood in my samurai dripped as the raindrops wash it away. Hanggang ngayon ay hindi parin tumitila ang sigawan sa paligid. But I know we'll win. I know we'll win this time.

I grunted when a huge paw clawed me. Napatingin ako sa may gawa noon at isa iyong lobo. I stepped back when I saw its bloodshot eyes. Dahan-dahan akong umatras habang paisa-isa itong humakbang palapit sa'kin. It growled loudly and jumped in the air to attack me. Sinangga ko ang kanyang bibig gamit ang samurai. I kicked it hard, dahilan kung bakit tumilapon ito sa ere.

Another group of drugged wolves encircled me. Now, there are five of them. I cursed when I saw their raging eyes. Bago pa man umatake ang isa ay isang lobo ang pumigil doon. It was Ylva's wolf who bite the drugged wolf's neck. Isa-isa ay lumitaw ang lobo nina Karleen at Lara upang patumbahin ang mga nakapalibot sa'kin. I ran away from their spot, leaving my unfinished business to them.

Patakbo akong nag-ikot sa lugar. Wolves outnumbered the hunters. Sa nakikita ko'y mas marami ang nakatayong mga lobo kumapara sa kalaban. I shouted Duke's name but I can't see him. Fog are all around the place, making it uneasy for me to see my path.

I opened my mind link to call Duke. I stopped running when I heard a gunshot, and another gunshot, and another.

I turned around and saw Gustin holding a gun that's pointed towards me. I heard Karleen's aching scream in my head as I felt my own blood dropping from my mouth. I lose the grasp on my samurai as howls echoed in the place and my body went numb, my vision became blurry, and my heart beat became slower than original. I felt the ground on my knees as I gasp for air.
