Ash's POV

I heard Avy's laugh from the other side of the classroom.

I got up and ignored all the giggling sluts clearing a spot for me.

I took a chair and set it next to Avy.

"I'm a little hurt your having fun without me Avy." I smirked.

Her head whipped around to see me.

Behind her I saw Brittney. The girl in the alley way. Why do these girls kept popping up everytime I want to talk with my Avy.

"Why are you over here Ash?" Melissa sassed me.

"Come on don't pretend enjoy my company." I smirked at her.

'Nobody does.' James cut in in my head.

'Butt out!' I blocked him.

"Your luck I don't tell your mom about the company you keep." She rolled her eyes.

I saw Brittney look at my mate confused.

"Cousins." she muttered to her as the brunette nodded her head.

" Stalking me already, Avy." I smirked.

"No idiot. I told her." Melissa cut in. "Your head is already the size of the statue of liberty. Quit making it bigger."

Brittney and Avy were trying to contain their laughter as I shot glares at them,.

"You love me Avy. Don't you?" I pouted and use the puppy dog eyes.

"Nope." She chuckled.

I felt a wave of pain hit my but I quickly masked it over with humor.

"Your loss." I shot back.

She rolled her eyes at me. "Man up."

She shouldn't be saying that unless she wants to get punished.

I heard Brittney and Melissa laugh beside her. I shot glares at all of them.

"Whatever." I muttered.

'You shouldn't be so cocky to her. That's not the way to win her heart. And you definitely NOT be kissing other girls!' Melissa mind linked me.

'I'm with her!' James cut in.

'See! James knows what to do. Why can't you listen to him!?'

'She came to me and kissed me!' I growled back.

'You were kissing back!' 

'I got sexually frustrated that it wasn't Avy!'

'That's no excuse! I'm telling your mom when we get back to the pack house!'

'I'll just feed her the sob story about her dog and she'll leave me alone.' I smirked.

'You are a sorry excuse for a son.' Her tone was emotionless.

She blocked me out before I could reply.

'She's right you know.' James popped up.

'No one asked you!' I yelled.

'You got to get your shit together.' He growled. 'I want my mate.'

I was about to reply but the school bell rang.

I was already out of the classroom.

I roamed the hallway until I was stopped by Mandy.

This Bitch can't take a hit.

"What do you want!?" I growled.

"I want what's mine!" She whined. "That new girl is stealing you from me!"

Her voice was giving me a headache.

I rubbed my temples. "I was never yours."

"Then why did you ask me to come over everytime you were alone. I thought you liked me." Her eyes got glassy.

"I. Didn't. You were just a booty call." I said emotionless.

"You can't look me in he eyes and say that was all I was to you!" She yelled.

I looked her in the eyes. "You. We're. Just. A. Booty. Call."

I stray tear fell from her eye. She raised her hand until it connected with my cheek.

I stinging sensation erupted in my face as it jerked to the side.

She ran away sobbing as I remained emotionless.

'You didn't need to be so harsh. I don't like her but you didn't have to make her cry.'

'She was going to learn it one way or another.'

'I need to go for a run.' He growled.

I sighed. 'Me too.'

I walked out side the school and walked into the woods.

After a found a good spot I stripped down and left my clothes behind a bush.

I heard my bones snap and crack until I was on all fours.

I shook up my gray fur. My paws started pounding on the ground.

I dodged the low hanging branches and leaped over the fallen boulders.

I kept on running until I ran into a rose bush.

'Ow! Ow! Ow! Why do thorns hurt this much!?' James whined in my head.

'Quit whining. Let's just get out of here.'

I started to shift my body to get out of the bush. I looked down at my front paw and saw that thorns were wrapped around it. A lot. Of thorns.

I sticky red liquid trailed down my fur.

'Great. Thanks to your so called walking we're bleeding.'

'Calm down we'll heal.'

I used my mouth and started to pull off the thorns. I spit out he thorns in my mouth.

I pulled out the last few thorns and spit them out. I licked of the blood on my fur and jumped out of the rose bush.

I shook out fur and shifted back into my human form.

I familiar scent hit my nose.

Mate?

I loud ear piercing scream echoed in the air. A couple of birds flew away from the trees.

I turned around and saw Avy staring at me in horror. I froze completely.

She stared at me in shock until she ran in a random direction.

"AVY!" I yelled after her but she was long gone.

'Don't just stand there! Go get her!' James yelled.

I shifted back into my wolf form and ran after her.

I followed her scent until I caught up with her.

I was still a little slower than usual because I think I missed a thorn in my paw.

She looked back and saw me. She looked terrified.

'Mate is afraid of us?' James didn't hide the heart break in his voice.

'She just saw us shift of course she scared!'

I turned my attention back to Avy.

She tripped over a collapsed tree. She lost her footing and landed on her wrist and her ankle twisted.

She groaned in pain and glanced back at me. She kept backing away from me until her back hit a tree.

Her faced paled and her eyes were fluttering shut.

I shifted back into my human form as her eyes were shut completely.

"No no no no no no no." I pulled her onto my lap.

All I could feel was her body heat and tingles erupt in my body.

'We have to take her to he pack house.' James said.

'How am I supposed to explain everything?'

'She's hurt. We can explain everything to her when she wakes up.'

I picked her up bridal style and walked back to my car I placed her in the passenger seat and buckled her up.

Good thing I always keep clothes in my car.

I changed into some clothes and hopped into my car.

I drove off to the pack house. I kept glancing at her.

She looks so cute when she's asleep.

OK that sentence was weird.

I finally arrived at the pack house.

I jumped out of the car and carried Avy inside.

My mom was in the living room with her arms crossed and she was glaring me.

"What the hell happened!?" She yelled.

I'm in trouble.
