5-One Kiss to the Wrong Person
Avery's POV
First I was late on the first day now I came to face with a pervert and his slut!
Isn't my life great?
Calm down Avery. Your in class now and with any luck you'll never have to see the perv again.
I dosed off from the teachers teachings and stared out the window.
The school was next to the woods. Or always seemed mysterious.
My thoughts were interrupted by the door slamming open.
"Mr. Lockhart your late." My teachers said flatly.
I turned around and I was face with Pervert.
I heard some girls giggling to each other about him.
An unfamiliar emotion hit me but I ignored it.
He waved the teacher off. "Yeah, yeah."
The teacher gave him his best non glare. "Take a seat Mr. Lockhart."
I looked away from him. I felt someone take a seat next to me but I continued to look out the window.
"You know you could have just said no to my offer instead of being so rude, Sweetie." He whispered in my ear.
I continued to ignored him but it was hard from him being so close to me.
Why do guys always think 'no' means 'yes!?'
"We don't think that. We're just persistent on taking what's ours." He whispered.
Did I say that out loud?
"Yes you did Sweetie."
My head snapped in his direction.
"Leave me alone, Perv."
He smirked. "The name's Ash. Ash Lockhart."
"And I'm James. James Bond." I joked with sarcasm.
He chuckled. "Aren't you feisty."
He inched his face closer. I flinched. I've never been so close to a male without getting beaten.
He backed away confused. "You're jumpy."
"You're a genius." The sarcasm was partially dripping from my voice.
His smirk dropped. He murmured 'bitch' but I rolled my eyes and ignored his comment.
"What's your name Sweetie?" He asked out of no where.
"Avery Powers." I admitted.
His eyes seemed to light up at the mention of my name.
"Cute but I think I'll stick to Sweetie." He smirked.
"I'm not cute or sweet. Leave me alone."
"No." His smirk stood in place.
"Why not?" I asked.
"Because I irritate you and its fun. But if you want I can make it more fun."
I rolled my eyes. "Perv."
"I just have a sexy imagination."
"It doesnt sound sexy to me."
"You should feel luck. You know how many girls would kill to talk to me?" He winked at some girls that were giggling after.
That emotion hit me again. What's wrong with me?
"I'm going to take a wild guess and say zero." It was my turn to smirk as his fell.
"You should still feel lucky."
"Are you always like this?" I asked.
"You mean beautiful? Yes, yes I am." He smirked.
I rolled my eyes for like the millionth time. "No idiot. I ment arrogant, cocky, and plain annoying."
By now we stopped paying attention to class.
"I can't say. Your the first girl to ever call me that."
"Now I feel lucky." I fake smiled.
"How old are you?" He asked.
I took a deep breath. "18." I lied.
"Me too! We have so much in common already." He smiled.
That wasn't true. We clearly have nothing in common. Except that one blue eyes he has.
That's pretty much the only thing I find cool about him.
Why can't I have two different colored eyes?
"Avery!" Ash waved a hand in front of my face.
"Yes?"
"You zoned out."
"Yeah, so?"
"I asked you where do you live."
"Why would I answer that? So you can stalk me?"
"Nope just curious."
"None of your business." I tried to focus my attention back to the teacher.
"You know it's considered rude not answering a question." He whispered in my ear.
I flinched at the closeness again.
"Get away from me." My voice was no louder than a whisper. Force of habit.
His eyebrows creased. "Why?"
He kept getting closer to me.
"S-stop." I stuttered.
My fear of getting hit grew worse.
"No." He answered.
I finally snapped.
"Get away from me!" I yelled.
All eyes snapped to my direction. My cheeks turned red from embarrassment.
"Ms. Powers! Go to the principal's office now!" The teacher boomed.
I collected my things and exited the classroom.
Stupid Ash, getting me in trouble. There's no way I'm walking to the principal's office on the first day.
I exited the school and leaned against the brick wall. I slid down until I was sitting on the floor.
I can't ditch so I can't really do anything.
The door opened. Revealing a girl with strawberry blonde hair and hazel eyes.
I saw her walking up to Ash after he was flirting with me in the hall.
She gave me a sick sweet smirk.
"Get up." She commanded.
"Why?" I challenged.
"Because I want to get to know you better. I'm Mandy." She gave me a fake smile.
She's obviously just putting on a show to show she's a saint. There was some girls in my neighborhood like her that tried flirting with my dad. It was disgusting.
"Avery." I answered anyway.
"I came to warn you." She said out of no where.
"About what?"
"Ash. He's a total player. He has slept with half the girls at this school. He will break your heart. I just want to protect you." She fake smiled.
I rolled my eyes but the unknown emotion came back at the thought of Ash with other girls.
Why am I feeling this!? I don't even know him.
"Thanks but I can handle myself. You can have him for yourself if you want. I don't want him."
She smirked and went back inside before throwing me a wave.
After a few more minutes I gave up on waiting for that darn bell to ring.
I walked back inside the school and started roaming the halls.
I turned the corner.
I saw a sight that made my heart skip a beat.
Mandy and Ash pinned to against the lockers while shoving her tongue down his throat. His hands were around her hips and he was clearly kissing back.
I felt a burning feeling in my chest until they pulled away.
I ran out of the school. I know I should be ditching but I couldn't handle that sight.
Why am I feeling this way?
I don't even know them.

Ash's POV
Avery collected her things and walked out of the classroom.
I noticed a piece of paper she dropped. I picked it up and noticed it was her schedule.
Perfect! Now I can change all my classes to match hers.
"Sir, Avery dropped her schedule. I'm going to return it to her." I didn't wait for a reply. I walked out of the classroom.
I walked all the way to the main office luckily all the people in their were from. My pack so they could easily change my schedule to match Avery's.
After that was done I roamed the halls looking for Avery.
I turned every corner and checked the principal's office but I couldn't find her.
I began to get frustrated.
Where is she!?
I punched a locker next to me.
'Drama queen.' James rolled his eyes.
I ignored him and continued to look for my mate.
I heard the sound of heels clicking coming closer to me.
I turned around and saw Mandy with a smirk plastered on her face.
Doesn't this human know when to quit!?
She shoved me into the lockers and put her lips on mine. I pulled away.
"What are you doing?" I asked with a growl threatening to escape.
"What do you mean? I'm kissing my boyfriend. That new girl told me I can have you so I'm taking what's mine." She put her lips on mine again.
I am frustrated. Maybe this one kiss won't do any harm.
I kissed back and place my hands on her hips. She slip her tongue into my mouth.
'What are you doing dickhead!' James growled. 'Only our mate is allowed to do this to us!'
Realization hit me and I pulled away.
Mandy looked at me with a pout on her face until she began kissing my neck open mouthed.
I grabbed her shoulders and pushed her away from me.
She looked at me confused and disappointed.
"I'm not your boyfriend! So stay away from me!" I growled at her before walking off.

*shakes head while being disappointed* Shame on you Ash.
Yep he's a total ass.
I'm a bad person for making it that way but it with make the book longer.
I have a quote from one of my friends but it will only make sense if you have read "The Odyssey"
Quote- "I'M HIGH OFF LOTAS!"
It's also one of our inside jokes😂😂
I am completely open to suggestions and ideas. I'm going through writers block.
I'll update soon.
