Melissa's POV

"Avery this is my mates sister!" I told her.

"You know my brother? He's your mate!" Kylee smiled. "Do you know where he is?"

"Yes I do. I'll take you to him."

I was about to help her until a voice stopped

"Luna!" Someone called out.

We all snapped our heads to the direction of where the guards were following us.

"Get away from her! She's a rogue!" He spoke. He pulled me and Avery away from Kylee and growled at her.

She jumped back in fear.

"Mike stand down." Avery commanded.

"With all due respect Luna--"

"I said stand down!" Avery yelled causing Mike to flinch.

He stood down and backed away from Kylee.

"She's coming to the pack house with us." Avery stood beside her as I did the same.

"Luna we already have another rogue to deal with we don't need another one." Mike spoke.

"They won't be rogues for long. They'll be joining our pack." Avery said.

"Alpha won't be happy about that." Mike pointed out.

"Then he'll have to deal with me. She's coming back with us." Avery said firmly.

Mike sighed. "Very well Luna."

We began to walk back to the pack house.

Kylee was limping a little bit and I'm guessing Avery noticed too.

"Let me help you." She spoke.

Kylee nodded and wrapped her arm around Avery's shoulder.

"I'll help." I said.

I grabbed Kylee's other arm and out it around my shoulders.

We helped Kylee back to the pack house.

Once we got to the pack house Avery gave Kylee a room to sleep in while she went to talk to Ash.

I was with her, patching up all her wounds.

"All done." I spoke when I finished wrapping bandages around her head.

"Are you really Toby's mate?" She asked suddenly.

I nodded. "I am. I also promised him that we would save you."

She gulped. "You know about Logan?"

"Trust me our pack has a long history with him. Especially with our former Luna."

"Luna Artemis." Her eyes widened.

I stared at her in shock. "Yeah. How did you know?"

"It's all Logan talks about. He always talks about getting revenge on Luna Artemis and Alpha Blake. What happened?" She asked

"It's a long story. Ever heard of Robin Hood?"

"Wow. That's amazing and crazy all at the same time." Kylee gasped after I finished telling her Artemis's story.

"Yeah I know. I said when I first heard their story." I smiled.

"Did Luna Artemis really shoot Xander in the ass with in arrow?" She asked.

I laughed. "I tell you an entire story of werewolves and hunters and that's the one thing you pick up?"

She laughed. "Yes! I want to know if it brought joy to others."

"Oh it did. My mom would not stop laughing."

Her laughter died down and her expression turned serious. "When will I get to see my brother?"

"As soon as Avery finish talking with Alpha Ash."

"But what if he doesn't want us in his pack?"

"Trust me, Ash maybe stubborn be he's also," I made a whipping noise. "Whipped."

We both laughed just enjoying each others company.

Avery's POV

"Come on Ash. What's the worst that could happen?"

"They could be spies for Logan!" Ash pointed out.

"No one would betray their mate like that!"

Right now I was in Ash's room and I had just finished telling Ash about Melissa's mate and his sister but as usual Ash doesn't like it.

"You don't know that, Avy." He spoke.

"What if it was me? In the basement? Locked up in those chains? With barley any food or water?" I raised an eyebrow.

He cupped my face with his hands. "That's different."

"No it's not."

"Why are you so bothered by this?"

"Because this is my pack too!" I yelled while shoving him away. "And it pains me to see one of my members unhappy without their mate!"

He broke out into a big smile.

"What?" I asked.

"You just called it your pack." He out his hands around my waist.

"That is so not the point right now."

He pulled me closer. "I don't care but I want you to be happy, so I'll allow them to join our pack."

"Really!?" I smiled

"One one condition."

"Anything."

"You and me are going to have a day a to ourselves. No distractions. No phones. No mind link. No Logan. Just us." He leaned his forehead against mine.

"I think could live with that." I smiled.

He returned the smile before leaning down and kissing my lips.

"I should go tell Melissa." I pulled away.

He kissed me again. "Let her wait."

"At least let me mind link her."

"Fine but make it quick."

'Melissa?'

'Yeah?'

'Toby and Kylee can join the pack.'

'Really!?' She gasped. 'So Toby can leave the cells!?'

'Yeah give him a room. Or make it yours it doesn't matter.' I smirked.

'Thank you!'

I was about to respond until Ash slammed his lips onto mine again. A little bit more rough this time.

Melissa's POV

I smiled as I open Toby's cell door.

"Hey." He greeted. "Why are you letting me out?"

I unlocked his chains and helped him up from the ground.

"Welcome to the Midnight Fire Pack." I pecked his lips.

"Really!? I'm in the pack!?" He grinned.

"I also have a little welcome gift for you."

"What?" His eye brows creased.

"Kylee." I called out to her.

She appeared in the door way in the cell. She gasped when she saw her brother.

"Toby!" She ran up to him and hugged him.

"Kylee!" He hugged her back.

After they pulled away they looked at me.

Toby wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close.

"Thank you little mate." He kissed my lips. "You're my little mate."

But I promise the next chapter will be a lot longer than this one.
