Avery's POV

I felt something heavy against my waist.

I eyes shot open. I was faced with a bare chest. I looked up and saw ash peacefully sleeping.

His mouth was slightly open and a couple strands of hair was covering his face.

He looked so cute.

My eyes widened at the memories of yesterday popped up in my head.

Ash's baby!

Mandy!

The lake!

My parents!

My parents. I missed them more than ever now.

The memory of them dying kept replaying in my head.

I shouldn't have abandoned them in that car.

Soon those memories faded from my mind and we're replaced by Mandy's words.

And here I am cuddling next to Ash!

I shouldn't be doing this. He should be with Mandy.

I carefully removed his hand from my waist and moved away from him.

I sat myself on the edge of the bed and put my hands on my face.

An arm shot out and pulled me back into Ash's chest.

"Stay." I heard him mumble.

"I-I can't." I tried to push him away.

He grip on me tightened as he buried his face in my neck. "Stay."

"Ash I can't."

He removed his face from my neck and looked at me heart broken. "Why?"

Why was he heart broken? Shouldn't that be me?

I pushed him away and got off the bed.

"Because you have a child. And that child deserves to live it's life with its mother and father." My voice cracked.

Ash got up from the bed and walked towards me.

I held my hand out for him to stop coming any closer to me. He stared at me with hurt.

"Mandy is not carrying my pup." He spoke.

I stared at him. "W-what?"

"Mandy lied. Her papers were fake. I took her to the pack doctor she's not carrying my pup." He wrapped his arms around me. "You are the only one I want."

I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer.

He let out a breath of relief and buried his face in the crock of my neck again.

I sucked in a breath when he began kissing my neck.

He sat down on the bed and pulled me onto his lap without removing his face from my neck.

He trailed kisses up and down my neck. 

Once he reached the spot were my neck and shoulder met I let out a gasp.

I felt him smirk against my skin. "Found it."

He began sucking on the spot. He stopped and kissed my lips. 

He pulled away and rested his forehead against mine. "Can I mark you?"

"Y-yes." I answered breathless.

I felt his teeth brush brush up against that one sweet spot again.

He place a kiss on the spot before sinking his canines in.

I screamed out in pain and gripped onto his shoulders.

I pulled his teeth put and licked the wound clean.

I began growing sleepy again. My blinking began to get slower as I tried to stay awake.

"Go to sleep." Ash layed us down on the bed.

His arm was around my waist once again.

I laid my head on his chest and drifted off to sleep.

Ash's POV

I marked her!

I finally marked her!

James could barley contain his excitement. He kept jumping around inside my head.

Right now we were in a meeting but I wasn't paying attention.

All I could think about was Avy.

She was still asleep when I was called into he meeting but I left a note.

Needless to say I could hear all her thoughts about me while she slept.

"Alpha Ash?" A voice called out while there was knocking on the door.

Oliver was revealed when he opened the door. "I need to talk to you Alpha."

"I'll be right back." I excused myself from the meeting.

I left the room and closed the door.

"This better be important Ollie." I called him by his Nick name just to piss him off.

I scowled at me.

"Why was Mandy in the cells!?" He nearly panicked. "The guards nearly panicked when they saw a human in there! Especially Mandy! She scary!"

"She committed crime. She lied to and alpha and rejected her werewolf mate." I responded.

"She has a mate!?" His eyes widened. "The same witch who thought it would be funny to cut Melissa's hair when she wasn't looking!?"

"Yes she does. She carrying his pup. That's why I put her down there until I decide what to do with her."

He nodded and sighed.

"Is there anything else you wanted to bother me about?" I asked.

"Yes, Avery saw that Mandy was down there and I'd demanding that you release her."

"Why was she down there in the first place!?" I growled.

"I don't know!" He held his hands up in surrender. "She was down there staring at Mandy when I saw her!"

I growled. "Tell everyone that I had to leave on pack business. I need to talk win Avy."

I didn't wait for a reply. I started to make my way to the pack house.

'Avy.' I mind linked her.

'Aaaaah!' She screamed. 'Who said that!? Who are you!? Where are you!?'

'Relax baby it's just me.' I assured her.

'Ash? How are you doing that!? Are you secretly behind me and I can't see you?'

'It's called a mind link Avy. We can talk telepathically.'

'Cool.' She said in amusement. 'Does this mean I get cool powers and stuff!?'

'No Avy it just means we can talk with out anybody hearing us.' I replied.

'Aw man.' She whined in disappointment.

'By the way I heard what you were thinking about in your sleep.' I smirked. 'Do you really think I'm a Greek God?'

'Um...'

I could already tell she was blushing.

'Avy?' I sang in a sing song voice after a while.

'Gotta go! Bye!' She quickly spoke then  blocked me out.

She blocked me out!?

I guess that means my mom is visiting.

'That also means we can't listen to her thoughts!' James whined.

I rolled my eyes at him and ignored him.

I walked into the pack house.

My mom, dad, and a couple pack members were in the living room talking to Avy and admiring her mark on her neck.

My mark.

I still couldn't get over the fact that she was mine. Mine forever.

Avy turned around and looked at me win a blush and a smile.

'Avy can I talk to you for second.' I mind linked her so the other pack members wouldn't hear us.

"I'll be right back." She said to everyone in the living room.

I grabbed her wrist and took her to my room. Once we were inside I closed the door and locked it.

"What's up?" She asked.

"Why were in the basement today!? More specifically the cells!?" I growled.
