Hello there my Sapphires, I wanted to ask of you, should I continue this story?Because as far as I can tell as I'm editing this, I have only 15 eyes on the story (As of right now) and I don't think you guys like it very much, so please let me know if I should continue or not. -Golden

August's POV

That night, I waited for Dad to come back by sitting on the stair case that was displayed right in front of the door, listening to my IPod Music trough my earbuds and sighed, he should be back by now, wherever he went probably wasn't supposed to take long by how his eyes glazed over in disgust.

Something was bothering him earlier, saying something about why we are really here under his breath, I didn't understand it, I usually stayed oblivious to the fact that he would always hide things from me, important or not, but now, he is just getting on mine and my wolf's nerves.

My wolf yipped in agreement at my statement and wagged her tail at me, weirdo, she has been acting like this all day, she is usually a quiet type and only speaks her mind to me when it really matters.Like a stoic, she never yip happily at me or wags her tail unless we get to skip school which I agreed with her, but school doesn't start until 2 months, why was she so excited?

Thoughts ran through my mind but the door opening snapped me out of it, my dad's scent hit my nose and I sighed in relief when he came in full view, nothing, not even a small speck of dirt was on him having me arch an eyebrow at him, tried to atleast resulting in my raising both my brows upwards.

He stared at my confused expression before shutting the door behind him and stuffing his hands in his pockets

"August, I need to talk to you for a second." Ah shit, I'm in trouble.I got up and followed him to the kitchen, him quickly grabbing a left over apple from our trip and taking a bite out of it.What did I do?Unless he found out that I sneaked out of here when he was gone to roam around the territory, oh please don't let it be that! (The chapter of August exploring somehow got deleted, WATTPAD, WHY?!).

"The Luna of this pack is dealing with Cancer, and she wants to meet you for her own personal reasons that I do not know of, that's why we are going over to their house to have dinner with them and get to know each other better." I blinked, and blinked, and blinked, I mentally sighed in relief but, why did he use that kind of tone with me when it was only to tell me we are going to be attending dinner with them?

"That's it?Dad, why did you make it sound so urgent?" I asked him and I saw him slightly flinch when I said 'Dad' which confused me more, what was up with him today?

"I'm just tired is all, let's get some rest for the morning and we will go out on a run to see the pack, that sound fine to you?" He asked me and I sighed but nodded

"Yeah, sure, night." I went upstairs to go to sleep while he stayed down there for a good five minutes before going to bed as well.

(Time Skip)

I awoke to my wolf bouncing up and down giving me a headache, 'Why the hell are you bouncing up and down for?!' I asked my wolf irritated while she huffed at me, 'I'm excited to meet them!I don't know why though but I feel like we have met them before and is able to see them again!' She answered me happily, having confusion run throughout my body, she wasn't making any sense, as far as I know of, I never met the Alpha and Luna of this pack before.

I sighed and decided to take a shower real quick before heading out on a run with Dad.

After my shower I blow dried my hair and made sure that I had extra clothes with me and put on old ruggedly shoes, track pants, and a tank top with a old bra on so when I shift, I won't have to worry about ruining them since I get rid of clothes by shifting.

I went down stairs and grabbed a pop tart before eating it and ran out the door to see Dad waiting for me outside, on the phone.

"Dad, I'm ready." I told him and he nodded, saying something to the person on the other line before hanging up

"That was your mother, she was seeing if we made it here okay." I nodded and smiled at him

"Well, let's go!My wolf is about ready to burst!" I yelled and he chuckled at me.We ran deep into the woods, setting our bags with extra clothes in it, down behind a fallen tree before shifting into our wolves.

Dad looked at me and gave me a wolffish grin, I rolled my eyes at the black wolf in front of me before dashing off past him, him chasing after me.

We ran for a good 2 hours before we decided to head back and get 'proper' food into our stomachs.I shifted back into my human form behind a tree and changed quickly, my wolf's tongue hanging out as if she was drooling.She is a weird female I tell you that much, 'Shut up, you're the one who made me weird.' She defended and I rolled my brown eyes at her before lightly chuckling, 'Sure~.'.

We made our way back to the house we are staying at for the week and searched the house for anything that wasn't snacks.

I decided to go into town to get some groceries for the week, Dad letting me since I can always mind link him or call him if anything happens.He gave me the truck keys and a debit card, warning me not to buy anything we don't need unless it's- Uhh, 'Feminine Products' I just laughed at how flustered he got and told him I packed some already so he was in the clear.

I jumped into the freezing truck and ignited the ignition with the key of ice.I drove around the pack, searching for any stores that could be a grocery store... 'Bilo.', 'WalMart.', 'Giant Eagle.','ALDI'S', or 'Victoria's Secret.' OMG, he would be so pissed at me if I bought all things in that store!And he would probably also forbid me from ever leaving the house for anything at all.

Not one of my smartest ideas but whatever.I sighed and parked in the Mall's parking lot and got out, locking the truck before walking into the mall, many scents of wolves hitting my nose, and a few rogues, great, just great, but I guess that is to be expected because it looks like this is the human side of the pack.

I walked around, looking for any food places or quick meal things, hamburger helper for example.I stopped when my wolf started getting excited again making me furrow my brows, 'What is it this time?' I asked her and she purred, 'He is near!' She exclaimed happily and I furrowed my brows until a scent hit me like a dodgeball.

I stiffened when I smelled the air, shit, my wolf tried taking control but I pushed her to the back of my mind, and ran into the nearest store closest to where I was.

Of course to make it more weird, I ran right into the food court, WHERE HE WAS DAMN IT I'M DUMB AS HELL!My stomach grumbled meaning that the pop tart I ate earlier didn't do it's job, the scent disappeared leaving me to sigh in relief.I walked over to the cash register and ordered what I wanted and decided to also get some take out for Dad, which consisted of 4 burgers and 2 medium sized fries.Hey we are werewolves, we need the energy.

I sat down and was about to mind link Dad when the same scent hit my nostrils, oh come on!I don't want to deal with this now!I felt a presence, that surely was him, a few feet behind me, burning holes into the back of my head.He was testing to see if I was who he thought I was.When I took a bite out of my my burger, a hand was placed onto my shoulder, tingles spreading across my body

"Son of a burger!" I yelled out in surprise, turning around in my seat, my burger now on the floor from me dropping it, my wolf sighed dreamily at the sight of him before us, our mate.FINALLY, but I didn't expect us to find him now, and in this pack, I was expecting him to be in my pack.Oh, that explains why I couldn't find him, I'm a idiot

"Sorry." He apologized for scaring me, my eyes meeting his onyx colored eyes.Damn, my mate was hot as hell!Perfectly built lean body, taller than my dad for sure, his abs slightly poking from under his blue shirt that said 'I'm sexy and I know it, now leave me alone peasant.' I kinda want that shirt now... No August, focus on his sexiness right now not his awesome shirt, light brown hair that was tussled to the side adding to his hotness over blown, onyx colored eyes that made my wolf yip excitedly in triumph at how beautiful his eyes looked.He looked either 19 or 20 years old but screw it, he is my mate so age doesn't matter, unless he is a total ass and pedophile.

After I was done checking him out, I noticed he was checking me out as well, and from the aura he was giving off, I could tell he was a wolf of high value, not a Alpha value but either a Beta or Third-In-Command value.

After a few seconds of him checking me out, I poked his arm, snapping me back to reality

"I know I look hot but take a picture, It will last longer." I stated, even though I was just wearing a shirt that said 'Sarcasm isn't being rude, it's called sarcasm for a reason.' And old hunting boots along with weird jeans I found randomly thrown in my closet a few months back, my hair up in a pony tail, Huh, I should have at least tried to make myself look presentable today.

He chuckled at my response

"A picture can easily be burned or deleted, so the real deal is better than a picture." I blushed at how clever that was, HA!There ya go FanFiction writers!

"Oh yeah, names Landon Burke." He told me and I blinked, oh yeah, we were supposed to introduce ourselves, I'm getting dumber by the second since he got here

"August Rainz of the Morning Moon Pack." I told him and he nodded

"So you aren't from this pack?" He asked me and I shook my head

"No, I'm just staying for the week with my dad since he had a business meeting to attend to here." I explained

"Okay, um, want to take a walk with me?" I thought for a moment

"I can't, I need to buy groceries."

"I will buy you another burger."

"You better, Landon." He smiled at me saying his name for the first time, and the fact that I agreed to take a walk with him, 1. Because he is my mate, 2. Because he mentioned buying me more food.
