August's POV (At Pack Vladimir)

"Mom, can you sign this paper for a field trip, next September?" I asked Mom who was making lunch for Dad go has been cooped up in his office all day

"Yeah sure honey, let me just finish making lunch for your Dad." She told me with a smile and I nodded, setting the paper on the table and walking out of the kitchen.I walked up stairs, passing Dad's office to get to my bedroom when I suddenly heard Dad talking to someone, I knew he could sense me so when I reached my bedroom I used my werewolf senses to hear the conversation

"Very well, when will the meeting be?" I heard Dad ask someone over the phone

"Tomorrow evening, that would give you enough time to come over to my pack." A gruff voice stated at the other line

"Alright, I will see you then." Dad ended the call and I heard him walking towards the door, I dashed into my bedroom and laid on my bed, grabbing a random book from my nightstand and flipped to a random page to act like I was reading.After a few paragraphs Dad walked in

"August." I looked up at him, my brown eyes meeting his

"Yeah Dad?"

"I would like you to come with me to a meeting over at Peregrine Pack." I raise a eyebrow at him, well tried to, managed to get both of them up

"Since when did you want me to come with you to your meetings?" I asked him

"You're going to be Luna once you have found your mate, August, I want you to have atleast a little experience of what's like to have so much responsibilities resting on your shoulders." He stared.I nodded slowly

"Okay, Umm when is the meeting?"

"Tomorrow evening."

"But that's a long drive to get there!"

"10 hours, I know, that's why we are leaving tonight." I groaned falling back on my bed

"What car are we taking?"

"The truck."

"Great, I can freeze to death."

"August." Dad growled in warning at my complaining

"Sorry, I will come, as long as I can get my sleep." I stated and he nodded, satisfied with himself.He kissed the top of my head before leaving my room, closing the door behind him.Once I knew he was gone I mind linked Britt, 'BRITT!' I screamed in my mid link to her

'WHAT?!I'M TRYING TO TAKE A NAP!'

'I'M GOING ON A MISSION!!"

'ON YOUR FAVORITE ROCKET SHIP?!'

'SOARING THROUGH THE SKIES!!'

'LITTLE EINSTEINS!!' I laughed at our weirdness

'Sadly no, me and my dad are going over to Perepine Pack for a meeting!'

'On a rocket ship?'

'No Britt, in the freezing truck, we are leaving tonight.'

'I will be at your house in a jiffy.' She blocked the mind link with me, seriously Britt?!That's rude.I sighed and looked over at the clock, 12:45 p.m, it read.Dad better get off his butt and get his food from Mom or she would be pissed...

A knock on the door downstairs caught my attention from day dreaming.I got up from my bed and opened the door to my bedroom before walking out, I walked down the steps and saw Mom looking over the form for my field trip for school this upcoming September.I walked over to the front door and opened it to see Brittany Colsen

"I'm here!" She stated

"I can clearly see that, or are you a hollogram?" I asked her suspiciously, crossing my arms.She giggled at my sillyness

"No I'm NOT a hollogram as far as I know, anyways, let's discuss!" She yelled, pulling my arm, closing the door behind her, we ran past the kitchen to get to the stairs

"HI LUNA NICOLE!" Britt yelled, running up the stairs pulling me along with her

"Hello Brittany!" I heard Mom say, we ran past Dad's office

"HI ALPHA RAINZ!"

"Hello Brittany." Dad said hi back, opening the door scaring the crap out of us

"Holy macro Dad, you scared us." I stated, hand over my heart

"Sorry about that girls, I just wanted to let you know August that you better pack clothes for a week because Alpha Ames nicely invited us to stay over there for a visit while me and him work over some documents, it will also give you some time to actually find your mate." Dad added the last part and I rolled my eyes, I was 17 years old and still haven't found my soul mate, I was supposed to find him 2 years ago but of course the Moon Goddess decided that I wasn't going to find my mate right away

"I know Dad that I haven't found my mate yet, you don't have to go rub it in my face." I stated and he put his hands up in defense

"Just saying." He walked back into his office of doom and me and Britt went into my room, shutting the door behind us while she made herself comfortable on my bed

"Okay, now spill."

"My Dad hasn't gone to a meeting at another pack since I was born, meaning there is something important Alpha Ames and him have to discuss." I stated, sitting on the bed infront of her indian style

"Okay, so any ideas?" She asked me, putting her brown hair up in a pony tail

"I didn't catch much of the conversation between him and my dad but Alpha Ames's voice sounded urgent, like he REALLY needed to see him and discussed something with him, he didn't even discuss it over the phone which, now that I think about it is pretty smart, they wouldn't want the 'private information' to get leaked to innocent ears." I stated using air quotes.She put her thumb on her chin, her thoughts wondering

"Maybe it's because you haven't found your mate yet." I threw my Cut The Rope Monster Plushie at her

"Sorry soon to be Luna, it's just a thought, I found Mike when I was 14, I'm just surprised you haven't found yours yet, all of the wolves in this pack has found theirs when they were either 15 or under 15, not 15 and above." This made me realize something

"Britt, do you remember where I was born?" I asked her, remembering she was 1 year old than me

"Yeah, you were born at Vladimir Hospital, why?"

"I have a suspicion I wasn't born in this pack like other wolves were."

"That's impossible August, plus we could just go online and check your birthplace." She stated and I face-kneed

"I'm a idiot, why didn't I think of that!" I scolded myself, grabbing my laptop from beside my bed.I went on Mighty Google and searched up, 'Vladimir Hospital' .Many results came up then I clicked on the link, a thing popped up to confirm I was a wolf in a ancient language only we knew.I read the language

'Gonda Lenathlif Salo'g.' (Confirm you are a wolf), I entered the ancient language for wolves, yes as in Pilo.It let me in and I went to the search bar and typed in my name, August Raven-Izzy Rainz.One result popped up, confirming I was born at that hospital

"Nope, I was wrong, I was born there." I told her, showing her the computer screen.Her eyes scanned the screen for quite some time until her brows furrowed

"What is that?" She asked herself

"What is what?" I asked her, confused

"Morali Goe Fa..." My eyes widened at what she just said

"What did you just say?" I asked

"Morali Goe Fa, why?" She asked me, I took my laptop back from her and clicked on the link

"It was updated 16 years ago..."

"Why was it updated 16 years ago?" She asked herself, many things ran through my head making my wolf anxious to know more

"August, what was edited?"

"The place I WAS born."

"Maybe they mispelled it or something." She stated, shrugging, I glared at her

"And they would realize a year later?" I asked her

"Hmm, I don't know, but I th-"

"Brittany, Your mother is on the phone!" We jumped at Mom's voice coming from the bottom of the stairs.Britt cursed under her breath

"You didn't tell her you were coming over, did you?"

"Nope, and I bet Mike was to shy to actually call me personally so asked my Mom to call Luna." She stated, annoyed we were interrupted like that

"Now he is going to have you under lock down for a few days, am I correct?" I asked her, smirking a little

"Yep.Wish me luck, and don't worry we will finish this discussion once you're back from your trip and I'm out of solitary." Britt stated, getting up from my bed.I shut my laptop down and set it down on my bed, following after her.
