Alpha Ames's POV

"Alpha, Luna wants to see you." My Beta, Conner told me and I nodded, getting up from my desk chair and walked out of my office.I roamed the halls and came to our bedroom, I stared at the plain door for a good 3 minutes before knocking

"Come in." I heard my mate, Andrea tell me through the door.I opened it and her wonderful scent filled the room.I sighed in relief when I saw her sitting in the rocking chair, not laying in the bed like she has been for the last couple of weeks

"Hello my dear." I told her, sitting down in front of her and lightly took her hand into mine

"Adam, my time is nearly up my darling." She told me with sad eyes, my eyes casted to the floor in sadness.My mate was dying from cancer she has been battling with for 5 years, I wanted to help her the best I could, I managed to give her all the treatments she needed but this cancer was incurable, I didn't want to see my mate die like this, she deserved to grow old with me, be a wonderful Luna, not die like this, no one should die like this

"What's your request?" I asked her, my eyes locking with hers, she lightly smiled at me

"I want to see her, I knew that you rejected her because you didn't even think about having children at the time, I don't want to go out like this, without letting her know who we are, and me being there to see it.I want to see our daughter, Adam." She told me, careful at her choice of words because she knew how I got when she mentioned her

"I will see to it, if it makes you happy." I told her, kissing her knuckles lovingly

"Thank you, I don't want to pressure you but I don't know how long I will last before I'm gone." I growled protectively at the thought of her not being at my side

"I want you to have her next you, something to fill your heart, someone to protect, cherish, and love." She told me, kissing my cheek

"I don't like seeing you in pain." I stated

"Neither do I, but it's life, we all die sometime, even when we don't want it to happen." She told me and I nodded.I got up and kissed her nose

"I love you, I will hopefully find her by the end of the week." I stated and she nodded

"Thank you." She told me and I nodded at her smiling.I closed the door and walked back to my office, once the door was closed I growled at thought of her

17 years ago

"Adam!" I jumped out if my seat ad ran towards the pleads of my pregnant mate, I ran into the living room to see she was on the ground, on her knees, holding on to her stomach

"The baby is coming!" She yelled and I growled and was at her side in a instant

"GET THE PACK DOCTOR!" I yelled using my Alpha Tone.I heard scurrying around but paid no mind to it, all on my mind was my mate

"Luna, the pack doctor will be here soon, first we need to get you to a bed." Jenn, Conner's wife stated and Andrea nodded, clutching onto my hand tighter.I picked her up bridal style and ran up the steps and into the bedroom.I laid her down on the bed while she screamed in pain having me look at her baby bump in disgust, it was making her feel pain!

"He's here!" Conner yelled and the pack doctor, Carlos came running in with the supplies

"Alpha, I need you to step out for a few minutes while I'm in the process of helping your mate give her birth to your pup." He told me and I growled

"No way in hell am I leaving my mate." I stated venom dripping in my words

"You have no choice Alpha, you will kill the pup because of the pain Luna is feeling right from the contractions." Jenn stated, looking at Conner with a pleading look.It took several of my best fighters to get me out of the room before I killed the pup inside my mate.After all the pain I felt from my mate and screaming, the pup was born.I walked in and saw Andrea holding the pup in her arms in a green towel.I stared at the two while the others left to leave us 'bond'

"Isn't she beautiful?" She snapped me out of my daze.I stared at her before slowly walking towards her and sat down next to her, catching the sight of the pup.I could make out a few strands of blonde hair on the top of the pup's head having me sigh

"Well, what do you want to do with it?" She growled at me which was a first for her

"She is our daughter, Adam, don't call her a 'it'." She told me, getting protective of the pup

"She isn't out pup."

"Then what the hell did I go through a few moments ago?Huh?!Bad cramps or what?She was inside of my stomach!We created her!" Se argued with me and I growled

"She ain't no daughter of mine!"

"August is our daughter!" The room grew silent at the name she given the pup.I stared at her wide eyed, then fury

"What did you call her?!" My wolf growled at my behavior but I pushed him back, not wanting to deal with him right now

"August, her name is August whether you like it or not she is our daughter!You cant change that!" She yelled at me

"I then reject August Ames as my daughter!" I roared, my eyes flashing black having Andrea look at me, her eyes filling with tears

"You can't reject your own daughter."

"I just did, deal with it."

I sighed at the thought of my past, I rejected my own daughter for peeps sake!I hated myself for it because my mate was the one who suffered!I opened the window and looked out at the wolves walking around without a care in the world, no one knew of her, only me, Andrea, Jenn, and Conner knew about her, the pack doctor was told the pup died from sickness and I bet he has forgotten by now.I sighed, running my hands through my dirty blonde hair.I looked over at the picture of me and Andrea smiling happily at the camera, my arm wrapped around her waist with her hands covering mine that rested on her stomach.I stared at the picture before shaking my head and walked over to my desk and sat down, I went online and onto the sight only wolves were aloud on.No humans knew about this sight which all wolves were glad about because then that would make our existence harder to hide.I searched through all the packs and find how many members are apart of them and what Alpha's there was, I knew she was now with a Alpha, she needed to be because the wolves would get suspicious if her 'parents' were regular ranked wolves while she smelled of Alpha Blood.I searched through listings of the Alpha's looking for who had pups and who didn't.I hope Andrea would be able to see her before her time runs out.
