I slept well that evening in his arms.

I pat his head " im going prepare breakfast and im going back to the base to investigate "I told him.

I chuckle as he struggles to put his left leg on the jeans, " com'er lemme help you " I said and push in onto the bed.

"I don't know if im with a child or a fully grown alpha " I mumbled shaking my head.

While struggling to fit his muscular legs on his pants " why do have to buy thus fricken jean that is clearly a little small for you" I groaned.

He just started laughing

I finished putting his pants on him, I wipe the sweat that forms into my head.

We started to trace back to the kitchen and everyone was already there the Alphas were bickering about whose wiener is bigger.

I laugh to myself and Tristan puts food on my plate.

Tristan's mom barge in and not giving me a second crushed me into her arms, for a little lady she is strong.

"Ohh my, I heard your finally back so I came down rushing here to see you and apologize for my son's stupidity, you know the saying the fruit doesn't fall from the tree he takes from his father hahaha" her mom exclaimed happily.

"Did you know when his father and I met. His father didn't let me go another day when he saw me, after that he came by our house and courted me until I finally said yes" she told me, her eyes flitter with sparks as she almost twinkling in her eyes as she relieves the old days.

I blush as Tristan puts his hand on my shoulder, his mom smiled warmly seeing us " eat up darling ill be packing you food for the road okay" she said before I could refuse she already turned her back on me.

Alpha Lyssa approach me an gave me an sd card, " Open it once you get home " she whispered and hug me I notice some were already staring this smells fishy.

I nodded.

After finished eating, Tristan accompanied me to the car they prepared for me it is a Ford Forester.

A small smile is pasted on my lips, seeing him I didn't know how to deny these feelings but to accept.

" what's wrong baby?" Tristan asked worriedly.

lifting my chin to meet his beautiful grey eyes, I felt soft lips touch mine.

I smiled " its nothing, I just thought if we had met differently will things be different?" I replied leaning into his touch.

" hmm, if things were different I wouldn't have met you " he chimed.

He opened the door, and help me in my seat, he slides his body onto the window swopping down for a kiss.

"I love you" he chirped.

I chuckled "I love you too" I replied starting the engine.

" take care, ill be back soon," I said.

"Yeah, you too," he said.

I trailed back to the road safely, I reached my pocket and stare at the flash drive Alpha Lyssa handed me.

If she secretly gave me this without anyone knowing it might be that important.

Tristan's Pov

My beautiful Mate left, im a bit sadden and reluctant to let him leave my pack, but we have agreed to do this mission.

Mine is to protect and be here for my people, I just hope he is okay and safe when his at enemy territory.

I run back to the packhouse to further discuss the plans and wait for my Coleen for information.

As the two pair do their own assigned task.

They both know the risks they are taking, as for Colleen if he is caught by the enemy he will be framed or accused of treason worst is a bullet for the head.

Colleen arrived at his apartment, he blushed at the memory of yesterday.

The whole room is a mess, like a tornado has passed, kneeling down and starting his computer.

He prepared his green tea, and sat down, he sigh and grab the flash drive given by Alpha Lyssa.

A video was the only file it has, gulping he click the video.

His eyes widen, as a man posing as our corps were gunning down a pack.

He felt his blood run cold hearing the plea and chaos in the area.

And the unexpected happened, a man with a radio walk in without a mask or anything.

When i look closer

I gasp seeing the person on it.

Why would he do such a thing!

I gotta find out
