Six days, seven hours, and twenty-two minutes. That is how long Teagan has been gone for. No one knows where she went or why she went but the only thing that mattered to me what that she even left. Her mom broke up the news in the morning. No one had noticed she left. Everyone thought she went to sleep. Her mom said that she needed time away from everything and something about heading north to visit a family member. Her mom didn't look happy, so I assumed she didn't like this particular family member. Teagan told everyone not to look for her because she was coming back soon. I couldn't believe she just left like that.

I wonder sometimes if it was because of me or something else...

I knocked on the door, waiting for someone to answer. I heard faint footsteps and someones voice. I was smiling. Happy, carefree, smiling. I spent the week at my Aunt Ellie's up in Washington, and no...not Forks. In Seattle, Washington. She is the coolest aunt ever! Ellie had long red-hair, which now I know where Percy got his hair, and a tall, curvy figure. She had sparkling blue eyes and pale skin, with a dimple on each of her cheeks. She has smile lines, from which I could tell she smiled and laughed a lot. She was so pretty and happy, that I envied her. Seh was like a teenage girl. She had an iphone, a Mac, she even knew how to use Facebook. She loved Usher and all those artists. She was a teenager in an adults body. But of course, she had to work, so I went to work with her to help her. She was a designer, so she had her own hours.

 We did nothing but talk this week. About everything. About Luke and him being my mate, Carrie, and how I should deal with it. I told Ellie everything I was feeling and she was open minded and never judged me. I told her about the rape, how Carrie betrayed me, which I told no one about, and how I decided to become a whore. She didn't interrupt nor did she tell me what I did was wrong or right. That's why I loved her. After I told her everything, she told me everything about her young life. That's when I realized how similar our lives are. Ellie's mate also abandoned her for another girl, but the reason why he left her was because the girl was an Alpha's daughter and he wanted power. She told me that it took six years and another love interest to finally realize that she was better off without him. When I asked her if he came back, would she take him back, she answered,

"I'm not sure, honey. I mean, he totally denied me. But I do love him, no matter how much of an ass he is. I have never really thought about it, to tell you the truth.." I thought about that for a second. I know where she is coming from but I don't know, if Luke ever asked for me back, what I would do...

After the week was up, I knew exactly what I should do. So to start out, I called Dave and told him the gig was up, then I called my mom and told her I was fine, and then I got a makeover. Instead of my brown tips and black hair, I dyed my hair caramel with blonde streaks, then I got a faint tan, and I started wearing less makeup. So that meant no eye shadow or lip gloss. Just mascara and eyeliner.

My aunt new I was a..erm..slut, so she said to embrace it if Luke can't accept me, then why change? So now I was back and better than ever. Currently, I was wearing short-shorts, a v-neck, and Vans. I was a new and improved whore. My brother, Nate, opened the door. He looked at me, up and down, then grimaced. I rolled my eyes.

"Well...aren't you going to say hi?" I asked him, smiling. He sighed but then cracked a grin and enveloped me into a hug. We hugged for about ten seconds then he let go and narrowed his eyes at me. Oh boy. "Why the hell did you leave!?" Mom, dad, Percy, and I were worried sick! You just up and left out of no where on the camping trip!" He scolded me. I sighed and hung my head. "I'm sorry, but things were driving me to the edge and I couldn't take it so I went to Aunt Ellie's in Seattle and she helped me figure some things out." He smiled knowingly. I noticed no one else was home, so it was just me and Nate. We started walking over to the living room.

"I know how you feel, kiddo." I looked up at Nate, wide eyed. He was staring off into space, with a smile plastered on his face. I eyed him suspiciously. "What are you talking about?" I asked him. Nate broke out of his spacing out and looked down at me.

"I found her, you know?" He said in a dreamy voice and I instantly knew he was talking about his mate. "You did!? When!?" I asked him, wide eyed. He smiled sadly.

"A short while after you found Luke." I choked on my spit. "W-what?" Nate rolled his eyes at me. "Oh, please! Like Percy and I haven't noticed! When River pulled that dumbass stunt at the party, we knew it. Then he followed you up the stairs a few minutes after you. We knew he wasn't going to do anything, so we let him go. Then all this other stuff happened, like River, then Dave, then running away, we knew something had happened. So we confronted Lucas and he spilled everything. Like...denying you and the waterfall kiss-" I blushed as he said that. "..So I punched him and then Percy did too, then we all made up and started talking." I rolled my eyes at him. Men and violence. I realized he were at the living room already, so I went to sit down on the love seat. Nate copied but sat on the L-shaped couch.

"He never said why he didn't accept you but he did say he felt bad and that he does like you. And if he ever breaks up with Carrie, he will accept you." I sighed and shook my head. I knew what I had to do. I just had to.

"I'm not going to take him back..." I said, barely above a whisper. My heart constricted and my head started to hurt, as I said those words. I knew I wanted Luke, but I'm not going to be his little lapdog and go to him when he calls and such. Nate's eyes became wide.

"What?" He asked me. "Are you serious? He's your freaking mate!" Nate started yelling at me. But all I did was sit there and feel relieved. I can finally admit it. Sure, I like, maybe even love, Lucas but I'm not going to be his safety net, when Carrie disposes of him. After yelling at me some more, Nate finally calmed down.

"I'm sorry, Tee." Nate said to me, getting up, crossing the room, and pulling me into another hug, but this one lasted much longer. I was close to crying, but I held back the tears. I wasn't going to cry over my problems, especially my Luke problems. After our 'brother-sister' moment, I finally asked him the thing that was on my mind. I let go of him and looked up at him.

"Who is your mate?" He instantly tensed and a bad feeling overcame me. His eyes became glazed over and he stood off, staring into space, again. After five very long minutes, he spoke up.

"You won't be mad, right?"

"It's not Carrie, is it?" I blurted, hoping he wasn't. His eyes widened.

"No!!" He shouted, looking shocked. I blew a sigh of release. Thank god..

"Don't worry. It's no one bad..I just hope you aren't mad..." I looked up at him, confused. He smiled at me.

"It's your friend, Emma. The shy one..." I started squealing at him in joy. I was jumping up and down with happiness, then it hit me.

"But...she's...human." Nate looked down sadly and I sank back down into the seat.

"I know..." He whined.

"Don't worry. We can fix this. You guys will end up, happy and together."

"Thanks sis." He said, smiling. Then the front door opened and my mom's voice rang throughout the house. "Hello? Anyone home? Nate? Percy?" My mood got even brighter. I jumped up from the seat ad bounded down the hall to the front door, where my mom was carrying groceries inside. "Mommy!" I squealed at her. Her head snapped up in surprised and when she saw me, she dropped the bag she was holding and ran towards me. When she got to me, she grabbed me into a giant bear hug and started crying.

"My sweet baby! I missed you so much!" She blubbered at me. I started tearing up too, just hearing her say that. I never realized how much my mom or anyone actually cared until just now. I was always a daddy's girl because I thought my mom always wanted a sweet little girl, not a whore like me. But now, thanks to Aunt Ellie, I realize that she would love me no matter what.

"I missed you too mom..." And that is how we stayed for a long time. Until she pulled away and looked at me with tear stained eyes. "Teagan, honey, you know how much I missed you, right?" I nodded my head. She smiled and said the words I will never forget.

"Good, now if you run away again, I will give you a sex change and turn you into an ugly man."

Oh, how I love my mom.

Sorry for no expected romance but I really wanted to show how Teagan and her family have been out of wack. So new drama with Nate and his mate. I'm slowly going to bring up Percy's mate and also Carrie's since her birthday is coming up. No Lucas...So Sad :( But now you know that Teagan isn't going to put up with being second best and how she is going back to her old ways. So I hope you all liked it. Sorry for the lateness but I was busy graduating and going to the county fair, so I was busy. Since I'm going to be free for the next..I don't know..two months so I will be updating frequently. I promise Teagan and Luke, together, will be in the next chapter.
