Chapter 14: Jack
Okay, before we begin, I want to talk about a couple of things with you guys.
Please know I'm not trying to be mean when I say this. I'm really not. I just want to gently bring this to everyone's attention.
1.) Please don't ruin or be a spoiler for other people. For example: a lot of you knew what the letter said in the last chapter and that's good. I didn't make it hard for a reason. I had someone ask me if they could say what the message said and I appreciate that person for asking. I told them please don't spoil it for others and they understood completely. However, after I reply to that comment, I noticed quite a few of you decide to post the message anyways. And it kind of frustrates me a little bit. Please, if you know what something is, just keep it to yourself but don't ruin it for others then. I know stupid of me to complain about but still, would you want someone spoiling something that you really enjoyed reading?
2.) I love you guys dearly and I promise you I'm responding to comments slowly but surely.
3.) Remember to just have fun okay? Don't fight each other over something that happened in any of mine as well as my friend's and other wattpader's stories. It's one thing if you're play fighting, it's another thing if you're purposely trying to hurt somebody by jabbing at them for their opinion. Everyone has opinions and you don't have to necessarily agree, but just be respectful of it.
That's all I really wanted to say... Onto the chapter!
Hugs for everyone. HUGS FOR DAYS!
*hugs*

We all follow Mark out the front door and into the woods.
"What about school?" Cassidy asks, trying to make conversation. Eden just smiles.
"Fuck school!" Eden exclaims. "It can wait. We have other things to worry about."
"Yes, like getting Phil back," Dan says quietly. Felix gives him a sideways glance and shakes his head.
They were all joking around, having a good time as we followed Mark down the path. Though while they were just trying to lighten the mood a little, I watched Mark like a hawk. Just because he knew where to go, doesn't mean I was going to let him have control over my pack.
But, I frown still staring at the back of his shirt, watching the shirt breath with him occasionally showing his muscles flex as he walks. Something is definitely up with him.
I jog a little to catch up with him. He didn't even glance at me while I fell in step beside him.
"Hey."
"What do you want?" He asks quietly, still facing forward. The others continue their chatty behavior in the background. I sigh.
"Something is wrong, so what's wrong?" Mark smirks, shaking his head.
"Nothing is wrong. I'm fine."
"Fine doesn't mean you're okay," I growl more to myself then him. "I know something's wrong, so why won't you tell me?"
"Jack," he sighs, glancing at me. "Some things aren't meant to be said." I frown in confusion.
"What is that suppose to mean?" He stops looking at me and leads us off on to a narrow path. "Mark?"
"Hmm?"
"What was that suppose to mean?" I repeat my question. Mark frowns. A sad look gleams in his eyes.
"You'll figure it out sooner or later. But Jack, I know that whatever happens, you'll be strong enough to pull through it." Suddenly I was worried.
"Mark? What are you saying? It's scaring me..." Mark just smiles sadly.
"Never mind... Don't worry about it Jack. Everything will be fine, don't worry," he says before shifting into his wolf form and taking off. I sigh, shifting as well and follow after him with the others trailing behind me.
Even though Mark said everything was going to be fine, something was wrong. Little did I know that Mark was keeping a secret from me. A deadly secret.
