2. Sapphire Martini

"Think we'll have a nice time tonight, or do you have a different idea? I've never been to Temptations, but I've heard it's an upscale club." Jimin had first suggested the club to Jin due to his desire to meet the Alpha of his dreams; he hoped that he would be given a chance by doing so.

Jimin was well aware that Jin saw him as insane for desiring what he did, but he felt the same way about Jin's life goals.

He couldn't understand why Jin sought independence in such a strong manner, especially given that he was an Omega; it was out of the ordinary for him. He is concerned about Jin, particularly regarding his ability to find an Alpha.

Alpha males may be quite aggressive, and Jin's attitude did not make for a healthy combination. In the expectation that Jin would finally embrace his destiny and begin acting more like an Omega, he prayed and hoped.

"I'm certain that I'll have a nice time. While I only go to the club to have a good time, you, on the other hand, are there for a completely different purpose. Therefore, I understand why you could be worried about everything." Those remarks from Jin couldn't have been any more true. He just wanted to have a good time, but Jimin desired to fulfill his dreams.

"Yeah, yeah...anyway, our Uber is here," Jimin said as his phone went off, alerting him. Jin groaned and followed him out of the home, but not before confirming that he had activated the burglar alarm and secured the door.

..........

Jin's Pov:

After entering the club, I immediately noticed a change in the mood compared to the other clubs Jimin and I frequented in the previous weeks. This club was frequented by people who were well-off financially. A number of them gave off an affluent and snobbish feeling, which was unsettling. They are making an effort to seem respectable in their high-end suits and clothing. I would have assumed I was at a business conference or a posh dinner party rather than a nightclub. The sight before me was not the one I had in mind.

"I can't believe you spent $50 for that drink?" Jimin heard me shout above the loud music playing in the background. I'm not paying that much for a drink under any circumstances.

"Keep your shits under control; we're here to have fun. I was under the impression you would have a good time; I needed something to help me loosen up. Allow me to get one for you." Jimin remarked this while swaying to the beat of the music.

We were about to hit the dance floor, and I knew he'd be there in a flash. Jimin enjoyed dancing, and his body reacted almost instinctively to a rhythm when he heard it.

"No, please don't. I'll go out and grab it myself. Go out and have a good time, and then start looking for your guy. Later on, I'll make my way to the dance floor to meet you." Immediately after, I flashed him a comforting smile and made my way towards the bar before he could say anything further.

It wasn't my concern if we split up because Jimin handled himself well, and I did as well.

Even as I made my way up to the bar, I could overhear hundreds of discussions being carried on in loud voices. All of which were clashing with the music blasting out of the speakers in the background. "Can I get you something?" the bartender said, a grin on his face as he proceeded to mix drinks.

"Can you recommend something, or tell me what's the top seller?" Instead of placing an order, I always inquired what they advised; this made life a lot simpler for me.

"We have so many cocktails that are popular, but I would have to say that the Ritz-Paris Sidecar or the Sapphire Martini appears to be the most popular around here," says the bartender. The only thing I did was nod my head and grin as he attempted to explain to me what was in the drinks; the room was already too loud, so I couldn't understand what he was saying.

"Cool! I suppose I'll try the Sapphire Martini instead of the Carside Martini since it seems too complex." When I told him, he let out an extravagant chuckle and then nodded and started making what I expected to be my drink. Fortunately, the individual who had been occupying the seat next to me had eventually gotten up and left. I snatched the chair quickly.

"Here's your drink, and hold for a moment while I go grab the earrings. I gazed at him with a bewildered expression on my face as he put the drink in front of me and then vanished into the distance.

What kind of fucking earrings was he referring to? I didn't see Jimin wearing any earrings, so I wondered whether they were given out with beverages. Well, it's possible he forgot to show me his. As I tasted my martini, I thought to myself, "Wow, this place is pretty high-end; they're giving out earrings with drinks and shit."

Suddenly, the bartender sprang out from behind the bar and said, "I found them! Your total has come to $3,000.00. Will you be paying cash or credit? Alternatively, would you want to put it on the bill for tonight and pay later? -" When I tried to drink, I choked on my drink. What the fuck did he say, three who? I swear my soul left my body.

"Sorry, I didn't understand what you were saying right away. Could you repeat that?" I had to ask for explanations since there was something wrong with my hearing because he couldn't have said what I believed he had. After all, it was impossible.

"Yes, and there's no need to apologize, although the music maybe a little too loud at times," he says. "I inquired as to whether you were paying with cash or credit, and your total is $3,000," he said, a smile on his face.

No fucking way!

"For what, exactly?" I screamed. "For this bitter water?" I resumed my rant, gesturing to the drink in front of me with my left hand. "You're playing a joke on me, aren't you? There's no way in hell I'm paying that much money for a fucking drink. Do you think this is some sort of sick joke?" The fucking fuck!

"As a matter of fact, here, please return this garbage as well as the ugly ass earrings that came with it." I thrust the drink in his direction, as well as the extremely eye-catching yet expensive-looking basket-shaped round sapphire earrings, in his direction.

To say that the bartender was taken aback would be an understatement; he seemed to have seen a ghost. "I-I really apologize..."

"I will pay for it; put it on my tab." Said a very deep voice. It was low and soft but powerful enough to send chills through my body.

"Like hell you..." I said, snapping my head in the direction of the speaker. He could see the look of surprise on my face before I could conceal it. He had a little grin on his lips, which I assume means he gets it a lot. You couldn't look away from his face because it was so arresting. His brown hair was disheveled and shiny.

His features were sculpted from stone, and his features were sharp and defined. His black brows were drawn together and dipped downwards in a solemn attitude. Kissing him would be a dream because of his heart-shaped lips.

Woah! What in the world was I thinking at the time? Jin, get your act together; this isn't how you normally behave.

"No, thank you very much!" I stated this while turning my back on him, but then it struck me: his strong musky aroma was a dead giveaway that he was a fucking Alpha, something I should've realized the minute I laid eyes on him. His scent was intoxicating, and it reminded me a lot of Dalbergia nigra (Brazilian Rosewood) in its intensity. I needed to get away from him as soon as possible.

"Here, please charge my credit card; I have to go." I stood up and presented my card to the bartender.

"John, I gave you an order: return the card to this Omega." It wasn't a question; rather, it was a demand.

Who the fuck did he think he was? He sure as hell wasn't referring to me as "this Omega."

"John, is it? You must charge me for the drink since I requested it. Please bill me for the drink. I have no idea who this rude person is right now, but please let him know that I am not a charity and do not need him to pay for anything on my behalf...just charge the stupid card and give me my receipt so I can go on with my life!" I spoke to John, completely ignoring the ignorant jerk who stood behind me.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not able to do that," John said, his eyes widening. He murmured something and tossed the card back in my direction before disappearing.

"That little fucker..." I became startled when a pair of strong, somewhat rough hands gripped my waist. As he rubbed against me, I realized it was the mystery Alpha who was interfering in my affairs; his body was warm and toned. His tone was solemn, and his voice sounded deep. His lips brushed against my ear, as he said,  "you are a wild one, aren't you? You don't have any formal training, but don't worry; I'll teach you how to obey."
