Nothing could have prepared Seth for when he heard her confirm that she was indeed a Beta. It doesn't make sense. He couldn't stop staring at her just processing what he just heard. As Damien was going off about god knows what, She was looking back with a saddened look on her face.

"Im sorry." She mouthed.

"Well what are going to do about this Seth!?" Father yells at Seth that wakes him up from this trance.

"I think he should fire her immediately and step down." Damien chimes in.

"Oh wouldn't you like that!" Seth yells back.

The Hira representative stands up, "I think we will be taking our leave."

Their father immediately gets up, "I apologize for both of my son's behavior. I promise if you give us-"

The representative but his hand up, "We won't be reaching out again. We will see ourselves out."

After they leave it was just the Seth, her, Damien, and the father left. Jacob left with the representatives.

"Who the fuck hired a beta?!" Yells Seth's father.
Seth sits sit down as he puts his face in his hands not saying a word.

Damien answers, " clearly the hiring department needs to be fired."

"I know what I did was wrong but I needed a job and up until this point I have been nothing but capable! I know I put that last slide up there and I know Damien had something to do with it!" Mj says angrily.

"Leave it to the beta to blame everyone but themselves." Damien chimes. His father remains silent but his silence spoke volumes. He is livid and he doesn't know who to put his hands on first.

"Seth... you haven't said anything." Mj says softly. Seth sighs heavily. He stands up and looks at her he opens his mouth but closes it and waves her off as he leaves the conference room.

Mj fucked up. Big time.

She is left in the room with Damien and their father, " I know I put that slide up there!" She storms off following Seth.

She open his office door and locks it. Seth just sits at his desk rubbing his face.

"Please say something. Anything! I can take you yelling at me I just need to hear what your thinking." Pleads Mj.

He shrugs, " I don't know what to say. I always wondered why you didn't tell me much about yourself but it all makes sense now."

"I wanted to tell you before the meeting..." she adds.

"How the fuck did Damien know!"

Tears flowed down her eyes, "I needed to wash your scent on me that day we were comming to the office."

"The day where you ran into him?"

She nods, "he planted a neutralizer spray and he found out I took it."

"Why didn't you come home yesterday?"

She didn't want to tell him. He slams his fist on the desk, "fucking god damn it Mj!" He yells.

"He...." She stops and tries to calm down enough to get out the worse, "Damien asked me to see him alone. He told me he knew about me and was planning to black mail me."

"That still doesn't explain why you didn't come home."

Mj sighs, " he kissed me and left his pheromone on me and I didn't have any neutralizing spray to get it off."

Seth breaks the office phone he had in his hand, " tell me your lying."

She shakes her head crying harder, " I'm sorry!"

"You keep fucking saying that." He mutters under his breath as he can feels his blood boiling.

"I really do love you Se-"

"Shut. Up."

Immediately she shuts her mouth. What does that mean?! Did he really love her?!

"As of today you are terminated from the company." Seth says as he sits back down.

"You can't be serious.... You know what that means for me...."

"I legally can't not permit you to stay here... hell I think I lost my job. My father will fire you for sure."

"So that's it then.... We aren't going to talk about it?" She says getting stirred up again.

He doesn't respond.
There are so many questions.
Some he doesn't want to know the answer to.

Mj looks up and tries to regain her composure, "fine. If that's what it's going to be, then I guess we weren't fated after all." She spats at him. She storms out grabbing her things in the process. "You can lose my number."

When she leaves the door slams. Seth takes a moment to close the blinds and make his way into his personal bathroom in his office. He runs some cold water on his face and notice his hands were shaking.

He looks up at the mirror and see himself crying. This is...
He started sobbing in the bathroom covering his face to muffle his cries.

What has happened to him.

He hasn't cried this much ever. He never really cried as a child.

Why is he crying? He can go back to the way things were before her. Alone.

It will be alright.

He cries harder because he knows he won't be alright.

Because he 100% knows now more than ever. That MJ is In fact his soul mate.

And she is indeed a beta.

And his fate will be just like his father's.
