Chapter 9

Location: Planet Regnonium
Time: 7,500,225,372,124 Years In The Past

"They right behind us!" yelled Flame as the Alpha Juggernaut flew away from Amoriel. Behind them hundreds of snake monsters were flying towards them.

"Evacuations are completed, but we need to make sure the ships are able to get away from the planet!" said Temporis.

"Can you take them out from here!?" yelled Flame as he avoided getting blasted.

"Sure! Open the gate on the back!" said Temporis. Flame pushed the button and the back gate of the Juggernaut lowered and Temporis looked outside.

"Take this!" she yelled as suddenly her right arm turned into a blaster and started shooting at high speed. At the same time she altered space so that the space between the enemy and the ship increased. She turned her other hand into an axe made of blue energy.

"Flame! I'll be back!" she said as she teleported out the ship.

She appeared in front of the enemy and began slashing at them. She blasted and slashed at the snake monsters that tried to attack her. The snake monsters were actually weaker than when they were normal people.

Temporis then grew in size until she was a thousand feet tall. Her arm turned into a massive hammer made of pure energy. She brought it down upon the monsters and blasted them back all the way back to Amoriel. With the monsters no longer being near, the Deusapien ships managed to travel away.

Then Temporis returned to normal and teleported back to the Juggernaut. She closed the back gate and ran up to Flame.

"I got them! They are too far away, we can activate instant travel now!" she said.

"Alright!" responded Flame ad he pressed a button on the ship, and it immediately reappeared next to Regnonium.

"We made it," said Temporis with relief.

"I can't believe it. We lost again," said Flame.

"The sisters... they are stronger and smarter than I thought. They are attacking any of Regnonium's allies. If we hadn't been there, no doubt the Deusapiens would have tried to fight back," explained Temporis.

"Doesn't this bother you?" asked Flame.

"It does. But remember, despite me looking like an easygoing, I am still an Infinisapien. I know almost everything that is going on inside the Infiniverse," said Temporis.

"Almost everything?" asked Flame as he began to descend into Regnonium.

"Yes. There are things even us Infinisapien's can't see. One of those things are the sisters," said Temporis, having a more serious tone than before, "I'm worried that won't be able to do anything."

"I told you to trust me when I said that we will stop them," said Flame.

"I trust you Flame," said Temporis, "Well, now we got the Deusapiens here, the Omnisapiens, Angelusapiens, and the remaining Matrixians here! So the odds are stacked against them."

"There is now way the can win now. I mean, we have like five armies fighting them," said Flame, "We can win this!"

"I agree. Well, Flame, let's see the king and inform him of our success," said Temporis smiling.

Location: Planet Regnonium
Time: Present

The team entered Aeternum, the palace of King Damiron. They looked around for any clues, but there was nothing on the lower floors.

"The palace is large. I recommend separating. You all have communicators," said Professor Mark.

"I agree. Genos and Mystican can explore floors five to nine," said Frostbite, "Night Mist and I will look at ten to fourteen. Humatrix and Nighto explore fifteen to twenty. Professor Mark and Kairu can explore twenty one to twenty five. If we don't find anything, we will reunite at floor twenty six, and repeat until we get to floor forty."

"Sounds like a plan," said Genos, "Come on Mystican. We better hurry.

"See you guys in a bit," said Mystican as he and Genos ascended to the floors above.

Soon the two them walked around the empty halls of the of floor seven. The only light there was from the pale light coming from the windows. On the floor was a red carpet, and there were many books, and pieces of rubble on the floor from when the planet had been attacked.

"Man, we are way over our heads this time," said Mystican.

"Yeah. And to think everything was going so well few months ago," said Genos.

"Like, we had fun missions and stuff. But them we get a mission about the Abyss Union," said Mystican, "One thing lead to another and now we are here."

The two kept walking, when suddenly they heard a stone fall. They turned around and saw a small picture frame that had landed on the ground facedown.

"Was that always there?" asked Genos.

"I don't think so. I wonder what's in the picture," said Mystican.

"Let's see," said Genos as he picked up the picture. He looked into it and felt an icy chill go down his spine. In the picture was the image of a blond woman with wings, and next to her was a man with black hair and demonic wings. In the arms of the woman was a young baby.

"This picture... it's the one my father showed me," said Genos. He turned around and saw that Mystican was gone.

"What the-Mystican!? Where you go!?" yelled Genos as he looked around. But Mystican was nowhere to be found. Genos looked at the picture again, but he was horrified by what he saw. Instead of his full family, he saw a charred skeleton where his mother used to be, next to her his father had changed into a monster made of eyes, and it showed his baby self crying tears of blood.

"This is messed up!" yelled Genos as he threw the picture away. Genos saw that the hallway that he had been in was suddenly dark. He could only see a dark fog on both sides of the hallway.

"Alright, who's there!?" yelled Genos as his arms were covered in golden energy, "Step out and I promise not to beat you up as hard!"

"Is that any way to greet your father?" said a voice from behind Genos. He turned around and saw his father. He had black hair, red eyes, and wore a black suit. His demonic wings and horns were there as well.

"You! It's your fault Overdrive is dead!" yelled Genos, "If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't be in this mess!"

"Oh come on Genos. Stop acting so childishly!" yelled his father, "The guy dives in the way of an upcoming attack and dies, and suddenly you believe him? No Genos, that infinisapien got what was coming to him."

"Shut up!" yelled Genos as he pointed his arm, closed his eyes and fired a blast of golden energy. He heard his father scream and being shot back.

"Take that you sorry excuse... for..." muttered Genos in shock. In front of him stood not his father, but Overdrive. A hole was in his chest, and Overdrive's eyes widened as he fell back.

"Overdrive!" yelled Genos as he ran towards his friend. He looked at the wound and saw as blood kept pouring out profusely.

"Genos... why?" whispered Overdrive as he died.

"No! This... why!?" yelled Genos. Suddenly he felt the smell of smoke. Genos turned around and found himself in his old house from his infancy. A fire roared around him.

"Genos! Come here!" said a woman. Genos turned around and saw his mother, tears going down her eyes as she called for Genos to come to her.

"Mom!" yelled Genos as he saw a pile of rubble come crashing down around him. He didn't get to his mom as he saw a piece of fire come falling down on her head. She was thrown into the ground as a piece of rubble from the ceiling crashed down and impaled her on her back.

"Mother!" yelled Genos as tried to get to her hut was held back. He turned around and saw his father. His father was wearing normal human shirts, he had no horns or wings, he looked like a human. Tears came through his eyes.

"Don't Genos! Stay with dad!" he said, "We will get out! Trust me!"

Suddenly a bunch of gunfire came shooting through the windows. Genos dodged, but saw as his father was caught by a bullet on the chest. He fell back and laid there bleeding.

"Genos... run," he whispered as he passed out.

"Crap! What the hell is going on!?" yelled Genos as he ran out of the house, only to find himself back in the dark hallway of the palace.

"This isn'r right! This is messed up!" yelled Genos. He then saw as the shadows started to close in.

"ENOUGH!!!" he yelled as he punched the ground. In that moment, a blast if golden energy blasted all around him.

He heard something screech, and Genos looked up to see a being that looked like a dark shadow.

"Get over here!" yelled Genos as his arm turned into a blaster and a magic circle appeared on the tip. Suddenly he started blasting energy blasts made of light.

"Genos!?" said Mystican who was on the other side of the monster. There were tears going down Mystican's face, most likely from what the shadow monster had done.

"Don't let it escape!" yelled Genos. Mystican nodded and flew towards it.

"Divine Transcendence!" yelled Mystican he was covered in light. He punched the shadow monster towards Genos, who turned his arm into a light chainsaw. He slashed the monster away, and Mystican blasted it with light. The monster screeched, and flew away, and pointed a shadow hand at them and blasted chains made from shadows. The chains attacked to Mystican and Genos' hands and caused them to wince in pain.

"Take this!" yelled the two as they blasted a wave of light into the chain. The shadow monster let go and screamed in pain.

Suddenly Mystican and Genos were covered in blue electricity as the two ran at an amazing speed and ran on the wall. The shadow monster looked in surprise just in time as Mystican and Genos landed two punches on it's face at the same time from each side.

The monster screamed as it was sent hurtling into the ground. It tried to get up, but toppled down unconscious.

"Phew, what was that?" asked Genos.

"I think that was a Fantasmatic. Ugly beings. They torture their victims psychologically before killing them," said Mystican, "If it wasn't for you, we would probably had seen something way worse."

"Sense any more?" asked Genos.

"No. This was the only one," said Mystican.

"Let's finish looking through this floors, and go and tell the others," said Genos.

"Agreed. Let's hurry," responded Mystican as the two hurried to check the floors.

Location: Planet Amoriel
Home Of The Deusapiens
Time: Present

"This can't be happening," said a being who was on the ground. It was King Antonium, king of the Deusapiens. He looked out the window and saw the floating islands of Amoriel all burning as they fell out of the sky. His people, dead at the hands if shadow monsters.

"Revenge is an amazing thing. Isn't it," said a female voice. King Antonium turned around and saw Exitium and Exitus.

"You two... are supposed to be sealed," said the king.

"Really? Oh well," said Exitus.

"You will pay for this..." said the King trying to stand up.

"No. We won't," said Exitium as she kicked the king.

"There is no one to stop us now," she said as she then turned her hands into claws and sunk them deep into the king's chest, and ripped out his heart. The king screamed one last time before collapsing on the ground dead.

"Two down. Three to go," said Exitus.
