7 Years After The Events Of The Sisters

"Where did he go?" said one Infinisapien maid as she looked through the corridors all around the palace.

"He must have gone outside!" said another one, "Oh master Solaris. He is being reckless again."

"It should be fine, as long as he stays within the confines of the capital..." said the other maid.

Outside, running above the rooftops was Solaris. Of course he was bored of being kept inside the palace for so long. As he ran above under the moonlight, he notice a figure walking in between the alleys below. He stopped and went down to see him. He saw there another Infinisapien like him. From what he could see, only a year older than he was.

"Hey there!" said Solaris meeting him. The boy was startled at first, but then recognized who he was seeing.

"Oh, you are Solaris. From the palace aren't you?" said the Infinisapien, "I am Rubrum. Nice to meet you."

"I am Solaris. Nice to meet you as well," he said, "What are you doing out here in the middle of the night?"

"Just getting some stuff for home," said Rubrum, "And you?"

"Just taking a break from the palace," said Solaris and then looked up at the sky, "Hey, wanna be friends?"

"Friends?" asked Rubrum.

"Yeah. I don't have many. But we could be friends right?" asked Solaris.

"Uh... sure. Why not?" said Rubrum, "Could really use some company. Considering I live alone now."

"Alright! Then we are friends!" said Solaris, "Let's shake on it."

"Okay then," said Rubrum as the two friends shook hands.

This started a long friendship, that lasted for centuries. Solaris and Rubrum became best friends, and hanged out together all the time. Things went well, until the day that everything finally changed...

Time: Infinisapien Year 2042
1,357 Years Later

"Hey, Solaris? You ready?" asked an Infinisapien. He had neon blue hair, and wore a black metallic suit with glowing blue lines. One of his eyes was covered by a black bandage.

"Yeah Rubrum. I'm ready," said Solaris. He was forty one at this point, and he had an appearance younger than the future one. He had neon blue hair and eyes, and wore a black metallic suit with glowing blue lines like Rubrum. Rubrum was his childhood friend, whom he met shortly after his birth.

"Remember, nobody else knows about this. So don't go blabbing it out to anyone else," said Rubrum.

"This doesn't have to do with that again? Does it?" asked Solaris. When Solaris had met Rubrum, he heard that his older sister had died years ago. Ever since then he had been ranting about revenge. But an Infinisapien bowing revenge? Never since the sisters had that been heard.

They walked down the metal corridors. They reached a large door, which when Rubrum touched the door, and it moved to the side. Inside the room were hundreds of machines, filling the entire place with noise. Glowing green tubes covered the walls, all going towards the same place. In the back of the room was a large machine with a glowing green panel.

"What is all this?" asked Solaris as he looked around.

"It is what I have been working on all this years!" said Rubrum.

"Yeah, but what is it?" asked Solaris.

"It is the a recreation of something the ancient civilization that built the fortresses made," said Rubrum, "I call it a Multiversal Metabomb!"

"Metabomb!?" yelled Solaris, "What the heck are you thinking!? Blowing up an entire Multiverse!? You know we can't rebuilt a Multiverse with a Metabomb!"

"I know! The Universal Metabomb is too small, so with some illegally gotten stuff, I built this," said Reburum, "I can use it to finally set everything right."

"I though you were finally over it!?" yelled Solaris, "Temporis' death was not his fault! It was the Sisters! You can't destroy Sir Stephen!"

"I though you of all people would understand, Solaris," said Rubrum, "If I destroy the place were his Multiverse will appear, he won't be able to do anything!"

"You idiot! It is because of him that the Sisters were stopped!" yelled Solaris, "If you kill him you kill us!"

"Not correct. All he did was act as the one that can create the seal," said Rubrum, "Someone else could always take the job."

"I can't allow you to proceed any further with this," said Solaris, "A thousand years, and you have never been able to forgive him!? What about when I saved you from Ragnaril? And you promised to forget your revenge?"

"Why Solaris? I though you would help me. I thought you would understand! I am trying to save my sister!" said Rubrum.

"You will take innocent lives!" yelled Solaris.

"I guess this was a mistake. I am sorry Solaris, but I can't let you tell anyone else," said Rubrum, "I should have known it would come to this. I had hoped I didn't have to do this. Because you are my friend, but I guess it ends here."

"Rubrum, it doesn't have to end this way. Just give it up, and return to us," said Solaris, "Last chance."

"Oh well. I will just kill you here Solaris," said Rubrum.

"Kill me? Alright, you have really gone of the deep end this time," said Solaris, "I am taking you back, by force."

"Alright Solaris! Bring it on!" yelled Rubrum as he charged forward and the two Infinisapiens engaged in battle.

Their blows released unbelievable amounts of energy, shaking the reality around them. Solaris and Rubrum's powers were matched, as the two switched between physical and non-physical forms as they fought.

"You can't beat me Solaris! We are matched in power!" yelled Rubrum.

"Shut up!" yelled Solaris as he suddenly moved faster, and punched Rubrum straight into the Metabomb. The machine started releasing waves of energy that blasted Solaris away.

"What the- what was that!?" said Solaris. Rubrum was knocked right into the machine, and green energy started leaking out.

"What have you done!?" yelled Rubrum, "You ruined everything!"

"Don't try to fix it! Let's get out of here!" yelled Solaris, "Before it explodes!"

Solaris grabbed his shoulder, but received a punch from Rubrum so powerful it blasted him right out of the floating base.

Rubrum stayed behind, trying to fix the problem. Suddenly a wave of energy blasted him into the controls, and Solaris even further away.

"Oh crap," said Solaris as the base glowed green, "Rubrum!"

And then it happened. The bomb went off. The energy blasting Solaris away before the explosion reached him. The Metabomb destroyed the space around it, completely. A bright green glow covered the space. Brighter than anything ever seen. After it died down, nothing but pure darkness was left behind.

"Rubrum!?" yelled Solaris after the aftermath, but no signs of life were left behind at all. The space inside the bomb radius had turned completely dark, and destroyed.

"Crap," said Solaris as tears formed in his eyes, "Rubrum... you really done it this time. You just had to keep going didn't you... and now look where it got you."

Then he fell to his knees as he looked at the aftermath.

"Damn it Rubrum," he said, "Do you really think Temporis is happy now!? Y-you... you really held to that hate this long?"

And as so, their friendship ended with one of theirs deaths, leaving Solaris alone once again...
