The Corruption had ripped a building out of it's foundations and thrown it aside. It was just destroying everything in it's line of sight for no reason. The Alpha League had managed to keep the people safe and away from the monster. Night Mist had calmed them down using her powers.

"This is more difficult than I imagined. The Corruption's presence is affecting our powers," said Humatrix, "I can't even teleport everyone away from the city. We just have to keep moving."

The team quickly flew to the city, trying to save all the people they could. Genos was nowhere to be seen, and the Corruption's power did not allow the rest of the team locate each other.

A portal opened up on the burning streets below. Out of it stepped out Overdrive. He was shocked by how much destruction had happened, and in such a short amount of time.

He had to hurry and reach the others. According to the Abyss Union there was someone coming here who could deal with the Corruption, but they need time.

"Hey, is that the base!?" yelled Overdrive as he saw the base far in the distance. It had been smashed into the planet and ripped into pieces. Many holes had been made in the base's outer cover.

"This is worst than I thought. I have to hurry and find the others, we may no have much time," said Overdrive as he began to fly above to search for them. But suddenly he felt something attach to his foot, and bring him down with so much force that when he hit the ground, all the windows around him shattered, and a small crater had formed where he landed.

"Ow! What the- Genos!?" said Overdrive as he stood up and saw Genos standing there.

"Found you," said Genos, a grin on his face.

"You have no idea how glad I am to see you!" said Overdrive, "Where are the others, we need to find them. I have something to tell them."

Overdrive then was surprised as he felt himself being thrown back with so much force, that cracks formed in his entire body. He crashed back into the ground in pain.

"You are not going anywhere," said Genos as his body was covered in light and darkness.

"Genos!? What's the matter with you!?" yelled Overdrive getting up, his wounds healing slowly.

"I am not going to keep you in suspense," said Genos. Suddenly he appeared above Overdrive and smashed his head into the ground.

"Genos!? What are you doing!?" yelled Overdrive.

"I know what you did while you were out in your little trip," said Genos. Overdrive froze.

"Y-you know? How?" asked Overdrive. Genos picked him up and threw him aside with so much strength that Overdrive felt that his power was lowered by half due to the power that was coming from Genos.

"Someone you thought you killed survived," said Genos as he walked ominously towards Overdrive. Overdrive stood up with difficulty and faced his friend.

"Come on Genos..." said Overdrive, "I can tell you the truth, just let me explain."

"The time to talk is over,' said Genos, as his punched Overdrive in the face, blasting him back through the concrete buildings.

"I am more powerful than before," said Genos he appeared next to Overdrive and kicked him away.

"I'm faster."

He then smashed Overdrive and blasted him into the sky. Then a chain made of light and darkness pulled Overdrive right down and right into the streets and into the sewers below. Without his full power, all this hits were killing him.

"And I am stronger as well," said Genos using the chain to take Overdrive out of the sewers and then smashed his head againt the ground, "You stand no chance."

"Genos, please..." said Overdrive struggling to speak, "I... can tell you... the truth."

"Not listening to you. I already heard everything I need to know," said Genos, his eyes glowing with an unnatural red light. He smacked Overdrive away and Overdrive crashed right into a car, and then toppled to the floor.

"I thought you were my friend. You invited me to join this team. You saved me a few times. But it was all lies," said Genos, "You led my mother right to her death without remorse. Killed an entire planet full of people. Gave Flame a cursed blade. And killed Night Mist's father."

"Genos... it wasn't like that," said Overdrive struggling to get up.

"Oh shut up," said Genos as he blasted Overdrive into the air. Overdrive screamed in pain as he felt his arm being torn of as he crashed through a window.

"And hey, before I forget," said Genos as he picked up Overdrive by the neck, "Your hero name sucks."

He then threw Overdrive right through buildings with so much strength, Overdrive ended up on the opposite side of the city, Genos was right behind him.

"Twilight Incinerate," he said coldly as he blasted Overdrive with red fire. Overdrive was thrown back, barely able to even stay conscious. He could still hear the Corruption in the distance, smashing everything, and the rest of the team was out there.

Genos then charged at him. And Overdrive tried to dodge him, using his little power to slow time down a bit for him. It did not work as Genos turned around and punched Overdrive's face. His face cracked and bent and Overdrive was sent back.

"Come on Genos, we are friends, don't you remember!" yelled Overdrive. His body had lost it's metallic look and had become opaque, and his blue glow was gone. He had almost no power left.

"I remember," said Genos walking towards him,"BUT IT CHANGES NOTHING!"

Genos blasted Overdrive away after chanting some weird spell. Overdive was sent flying away.

"I will avenge my mother here and now," said Genos as his hand turned into an arm cannon that began to charge up with dark energy.

He was about to go in for the kill, but then he there was a loud crash. Genos turned around and saw the Corruption standing over him, taller than any mountain, and more powerful than any of them. The Corruption smiled, and then one of it's tendrils was blasted straight towards Genos's chest.

"Gah!" yelled Genos and closed his eyes as he was sure was going to die. But nothing happened. He opened them and saw Overdrive in front of him. He was facing Genos, and Genos' eyes widened as he saw a grey tendril sticking right through his chest.

"I apologize Genos. I led your mom to her death, and caused countless others. Maybe by saving you... I make up for a few sins," said Overdrive weakly.

"Overdrive you..." stuttered Genos, "You didn't kill her? It was a lie?"

"Sorry Genos," said Overdrive weakly.

The tendril absorbed all his energy and then the monster threw him away. Overdrive's body landed on the floor, lifeless and broken. Genos' eyes turned back to their normal color, and the sound of shattering glass was heard, as if a curse was just lifted.

Suddenly Genos heard someone shout his name.

"Genos! Don't just stand there!" yelled the voice. Genos turned around to see Humatrix and the rest of their team.

"What's wrong with you!?" asked Flame as he tried to pull him away.

"Overdrive... he is..." said Genos, but was unable to speak. He pointed towards were Overdrive's body laid.

"Holy... he is dead!" said Nighto.

"Here it comes again!" yelled Beyonder as the Corruption prepared to attack them again. It was grinning, seeing as how he found more energy to feed on. The monster's the began to use it's tendrils to attack.

"Run!" yelled Humatrix, and the team followed. Everyone but Genos. Nighto grabbed him and pulled him along.

"Come on! We shall mourn later, for now try to stay alive!" yelled Nighto as the two ran. Nighto used his dark powers to push himself at faster speeds. The Corruption followed them, teleporting and destroying everything in it's path.

The Corruption roared as it tried it's best to catch them, and it was slowly catching up to it. The power of billions of powerful species pushed it farther, made it stronger. But he needed more.

Frostbite crossed his arms, and then turned into a fusion if a To'kustar and a Necrofriggian. He crossed his arms, and a wall made of ice and cosmic energy formed behind him.

"That should stop him for a bit," said Frostbite as he turned around to run. Suddenly the wall broke apart and a tendril caught Frostbite by his arm.

"Let go!" yelled Frostbite and pressed he biomnitrix symbol in his chest and transformed into a combination of Necrofriggian and Kineceleran. He then fell to the ground and began to run and fast speeds.

"Night Mist, help!" said Frosbite as he tried to avoid the tendrils as the swept to reach at him. Night Mist quickly teleported him in front of her. Nighto then picked him up as well and kept running.

The Corruption kept running towards them, trying to shoot them with blasts of energy. Then the monster punched the ground, and the entire planet tore apart. The planet's surface started to fall apart as magma and eruptions began to appear everywhere. The Corruption roared and put it's hand in the magma and the magma was charged with energy. A fissure opened where the Alpha League base had crashed, and the base was swallowed up by the fiery magma underneath it.

"The Corruption is going to break the entire planet apart," said Humatrix. He put his hands up trying to fix it, as well as a few members of the team. But they were able to stop it, as their powers were being canceled out by the waves of energy coming of the Corruption. The Corruption then blasted a wave of energy into space, and all the stars went out, as well as all the planets and even the sun.

Ice started to fall upon the planet, yet the lava and magma in the world kept pouring out. All the cities crumbled into dust. The mountains split apart. Everything around the team was falling apart. Including the universe where they were just in.

"Guys, I don't think we are making it out of this one," said Flame as he watched upon the destroyed universe.

"We have to get to the Juggernaut. Leave the planet and bring reinforcement," said Frostbite.

"We can't. The ship fell into the lava," said Night Mist.

"Overdrive..." said Genos. The team looked at him, pained expressions in their faces.

"Genos, we know. We will meet him sokn," said Nighto.

"He saved me. I attacked him, and he saved me," said Genos. The Corruption's roars could be heard in the distance.

"Attacked him? Why?" asked Frostbite.

"That I cannot tell, for it would hurt you guys," said Genos. "He didn't mean to do it. I realize that now. Not that it matters. He also tried to tell you guys something, but he never got to."

"Well, as Nighto said, we will meet him soon," said Mystican grimly.

Then they felt it. A terrible energy that they had never felt before. The whole team fell back in fear. The wave of power was so great, that even the Corruption had to look were it came from. From the sky came a figure and crashed on the surface of the broken planet. It was massive humanoid figure, with large muscles, and irradiated tons of power. It's back was filled with spikes, it's face had long sharp teeth with glowing green eyes. It had a spine sail going from the top of it's head all they way to the back.

"W-who is that!?" said Humatrix.

"It's name... is Malthurax," said a voice behind them. The team turned around to see Professor Mark. He was hurt, with bruises and cuts on his body.

"The Malthurax!? You called him here!?" said Mystican.

"I did. It is important to stop the monster with Malthurax," said the Professor between breaths.

"You are one of the smartest guys in the Infiniverse! You could have made a machine or called someone else!" said Nighto.

"I had a reason," said the professor, "It was the day I left when it happened. Remember, when I came with the ship?"

"This is the Alpha Juggernaut that I created whenever something like this may happen," said the professor. "It is safer than using the old teleportation pads since it keeps you safe whenever you enter the mission. It is armed with hundreds of weapons, and it is really resistant to damage. Plus nothing apart from you guys can teleport in."

"Thanks for the save professor," said Flame.

"But what was that?" asked Flame as he looked out the window to look at the Infiniverse.

"It's power was unlike anything I have ever seen," said Humatrix.

Then time stopped around me. I looked around confused, and that is when Elena walked up to me.

"Professor. We must speak," said Elena, her face showing no expressions.

"What have you done?" asked the professor, "Time, everywhere has stopped. This is no normal technique. And I know almost all techniques of time warping."

"Professor Mark. You are a genius, perhaps due to being a descendant of the Tha Ha Sho."

"H-how do you know that!?" said the professor in shock.

"I know more than anyone in existence right now. What I am allowed to say is limited," said Elena.

"First, who are you?" asked the professor.

"I... do not know. I died a long time ago, due to an unfortunate meeting with Death himself," said Elena, "I am still here. A ghost? A spirit? I am neither of those things, I am sure of it. I have been traveling with Overdrive before meeting you all. We have been writing a few important pieces of history. When the team found me, I had just left him after writing Flame's story. I met them at the Abyss Union's base."

"And why go through all this trouble. Why are you doing all of this?" asked the professor.

"I know of a prophecy. And it is my job to make sure that it comes to pass. Who gave it to me, I am not sure," said Elena.

"And what does prophecy say exactly?" asked the Professor.

"It says:

When the mirror breaks. When the reflections meet their doom. The corruption wakes and devours. But it falls the the dark lord and then they waken.
The sisters. They waken when the the life seal is lost!
Beware! For the two sisters shall destroy all!
And with them, calamity shall come.
For when they waken, their role they shall play.
The give way to the end of the times.
Heroes shall rise and fight.
To win or lose, that remains to be seen. For an ancient power shall take it's part."

"That is quite ominous," said the professor, "The corruption is here, but who is the dark lord, and who are the sisters mentioned in the story."

"The sisters you shall meet soon. Since you to will too be part of destiny," said Elena, "As for who is the dark lord. It is the wretched one, the serpent's thrall. The one you all call Malthurax.

The professor was left speechless.

"Malthurax!? It, no it can't be controlled! Unless, yes... I give it the machine. It will sate it's hunger for a while. It was always after it," said professor, a pained expression on his face remembering a school full of students where he used to work at.

"I assume you are willing to go talk to it," said Elena.

"I will, I must depart quickly," said professor Mark, "It has never been punctual."

"Go professor. I wish you the best of luck," said Elena.

Then time returned, and I knew that you guys had to remain safe. So I made sure you wouldn't go looking for it.

"You must keep out of it's way!" yelled the professor, using a tone he had never used before. "You must not try to fight it, is that clear?"

The team nodded, but they were in shock. The professor never yelled.

"I have some matters to attend to, but you all must return to the base," said the professor.

"Professor... who was Elena. How was she related to Overdrive," asked Night Mist.

"I do not know, but I must ask you to quickly get in my escape pod, it is large enough for all of us. After the destruction you guys rebuild this universe and returned the humans back after erasing the memory of this events," said the professor. The team ran into the escape pod, wanting to stay as far they could from Malthurax.

"What about Overdrive? Where is he?" asked the professor.

"He... he isn't coming. He's dead," said Nighto.

"What!?" yelled the professor in shock, "They waken when the seal of life is lost."

"What did you say?" asked Mystican.

"It is nothing. We must go. We... shall mourn our friend later," said professor Mark. The escape pod then floated into the air and blasted away. Leaving the planet.

"So I have to take care of you?" said Malthurax, is eyes going from green to red, and his skin turned an ominous tone of black, "You don't seem so tough."

It's voice was filled with nothing but pure malice. The voice itself could drive anyone who heard it mad. And Malthurax knew how to intimidate, despite it's appearance, Malthurax was on par with the professor's intelligence.

The Corruption growled, it's eyes glowed red, and the monster grew into a larger side. It roared, opening it's mouth which glowed an eerie red. Tentacles and tendrils sprouted from it's back, as well as spikes on random places. It's skin was pulsing with energy.

The Corruption charged at Malthurax. It's mouth opened wide, big enough to swallow the moon. The tentacles a grabbed Malthurax in an attempt to pull it into it's mouth. Malthurax didn't budge, instead he grabbed the tentacles with his hands and pull them.

They immediately ripped off. The Corruption shrieked in pain. It took a step back and opened it's mouth. A blast of combined energy blasted towards Malthurax.

Malthurax just swayed the energy away as if it was only wind. Malthurax then ran at the Corruption and jumped in the air. He brought hist fist down onto the Corruption's head. The Corruption screamed as it felt crushed under the blow.

It teleported away and punched Malthurax with all the power it had collected. The entire Infiniverse shook at it's might. The planet trembled. Yet Malthurax didn't even budge an inch. Malthurax punched it in the face and the Corruption was blasted everywhere. The grey material then reformed itself into a four legged monster with a large mouth and bit Malthurax. Malthurax grabbed it by the head and smashed it into the ground.

"I am disappointed," said Malthurax as it jumped into the Corruption's face and ripped it right off. Then Malthurax ripped the Corruption's legs and smashed him over and over with them.

The Corruption screamed in pain and turned into a liquid state and tried to escape. Malthurax grabbed the liquid and continued to punch it. The Corruption couldn't get free of it's grasp.

"The brainiac comes, says that he has something for me to battle," said Malthurax as he smashed the Corruption into the ground. Despite all it's power, the Corruption was no matched for Malthurax.

"No more! Leave us!" yelled the Corruption, "You are like us! You hunger! Join us!"

"Hmm... nah," smirked Malthurax, "Killing you is kore fun."

Malthurax then opened his mouth so wide, that his head stretched in horrific fashion, and then he let out a shriek so horrifying, that the Corruption fell back in terror. The Corruptuon screamed as it felt itself falling apart slowly.

"Help... us," gurgled the Corruption as it fell apart into a grey puddle in the ground. Malthurax took a look at it and then stepped on it.

"All this trouble you caused, I hoped you were more entertaining than this. Next time do something better," said Malthurax. It looked up at the sky and screamed.

"GET DOWN HERE!!!"

"Malthurax killed it," said Humatrix in horror, "Killed it like it was nothing. Not even a warm up."

"Horrifying, I know," said the professor. He lower the escape pod near Malthurax. The professor got up and walked towards it.

"So pay up," said Malthurax. The professor took an glowing orb out of a satchel.

"After all this, their deaths were in vain," said the professor solemnly.

"Shut up. The little twerps got what was coming for them," said Malthurax as it grabbed the orb.

"Now live this place," said the professor.

"As you say," said Malthurax, but not before punching the Professor in the chest and sending him flying straight at the pod. The professor hit the wall of the pod and fell on the floor coughing blood.

"Professor!" said Night Mist as she helped the old man up and into the ship. The team looked at Malthurax as he stood there smirking. Then it jumped right back out of the universe and back home.

The team looked around the ruined planet and universe. It had been destroyed beyond recognition. Flame wore a special suit to help him survive the freezing temperature of the planet.

Hunatrix and Night Mist then proceeded to fix the sun, stars and everything else in space. Soon light appeared back on the planet.

"Now let's fix this planet," said Humatrix. The planet was covered in solidified magma. The planet was actually in hundreds of fragments. The team fixed this as well, and the planet soon turned back into what looked like Earth. They fixed the cities, and the planet looked just like it had done before the team had gotten there. Overdrive's body was gone, burnt in the powered magma.

"We left all the population in suspended animation in a pocket universe," said Beyonder, "I'll take them out."

"Wait a second, something is coming towards us," said Night Mist.

"Woah," said Flame as he saw tons of Infinisapiens, Omnisapiens and other species floating towards then.

"We thank you all, for freeing us," they said. The rest left, leaving only the Infinisapiens and Omnisapiens.

"We were the first victims, so we are all at your debt," said the two groups.

"At our debt? Alright then," said Humatrix, thinking of Overdrive, "I want all of you to end your war. Live in peace. Omnisapiens, you shall no longer wage war."

They looked reluctant, but their elders agreed to the terms. Grudgingly, the Omnisapiens agreed, wishing to rest after everything that had happened. They teleported back to their homes.

"We thank you for this Matrixian, as well as the rest of your group," said the Infinisapiens in unison.

"It is no problem. I bet Overdrive would had wanted peace among you," said Mystican.

"Our fellow Infinisapien Overdrive has fallen. Very troubling indeed. But we shall not worry you with our problems," said the Infinisapiens, "Thank you all. We shall take our leave."

They all disappeared into the sky, as they went back home to their families. The team remained there, saddened by their loss.

"It was my fault," said Genos, "After what I did to him, he saved me."

The professor walked up behind him snd out his hand on his shoulder.

"I can see what the rest can't. I assure you it wasn't your fault," said the professor, "His death, while unfortunate, was terrible. He saved you because he made a choice to make it up to you for what he was forced to do."

"Professor... thank you. But I fear I will have this pain on upon shoulders for some time," said Genos, "And I will stop using my demon powers until I make amends."

"I and the team will help you as well," said the professor, "For we all feel the same pain."

The two walked back to the group. Flame looked at them.

"What did you talk about?" asked Flame raising his eyebrow.

"Just mourning, we should continue," said the professor. The team continued towards fixing the planet. But where shocked when a group of people walked towards them.

"The Abyss Union," said Humatrix as he prepared himself to fight.

"Do not worry about us," said Negamatrix.

"We have come to our senses thanks to Overdrive. Melanchulus has left our minds," said Nught Venom.

"It may have left our forms twisted, but we can still leave," said SubFrost.

"They say the truth," said the Professor as he walked towards the Abyss Union.

"Are you sure professor?" asked Mystican.

"I am sure. Their forms will remain twisted, but they have their free will again," said the professor.

"We have to atone for all the pain we have brought. We will go to your Ide-... Infiniverse Council and ask them if we can become a hero team again," said Dark Matter.

"Then we wish you all good luck," said Night, "Please leave."

"Good bye Alpha League," said the union as they teleported away.

The Alpha League was finally left alone to fix the rest of the planet. As they worked, they remained silent as they mourned the end of their friend who sacrificed his life and sanity to help.

Location: Infinisapien Home Planet: Regnonium
Southern Sector Of City Alexius

A woman sat at a table in a small house on the outskirts of the Infinisapien city. She had long neon blue hair and neon blue eyes, like all Infinisapiens. Her skin was pale, and from the neck down her body was made of a black metallic material with glowing blue lines. It looked like some sort of suit, but it was part of her body.

"Hellen, don'r cry dear," said a man behind her. He had the same color hair and eyes, but his hair was shorter and he had a beard. His body was also covered from the neck down in the same material. Despite his words, his eyes were reddened.

"Alvero, can't you feel it even from here?" she said, "He is dead. Our son is dead."

The two hugged each other in silence. They were there for minutes until they finally separated.

"We should meet them. His friends," said Alvero.

"Yes. We should at least meet the people who were with him last," said Hellen. The two then prepared to leave. The two were saddened by the death of their son. Yet in their grief they had forgotten something important. Something big, but who could remember, on a day were the war ended?

"Sister," said a voice.

"Yes sister. I feel it. The life seal broke. We are free, we can finally wreck havoc again," said another voice.

"We can have revenge on all living," said the other voice.

"Freedom! Remember sister? The way they screamed last time?" asked the other voice.

"Oh how fun it was. They have forgotten, but we shall remind them again, right sister?" said the other voice.

The two voices then laughed in the darkness. An ancient evil has been released. The wheel of destiny is spinning, and chaos will come soon.
