Corruption: Blazing Present, And Dark Future
Overdrive and Elena walked into the temple, the massive gates opening by themselves. The two walked into the temple. It was quite empty, apart from the chairs at the end. Sitting on the chairs were the elemental gods and goddesses. There were Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Light, and Shadow. The gods were Fire, Earth, and Light. The goddesses were Water, Air, and Shadow. They all wore plated armor of their respective color, that hid their faces. Behind them wee banners displaying their elements. They were powerful, not half of an Infinisapiens power, but powerful. Overdrive was as strong as one of them, but all together he would be helpless.
"A hybrid comes to our temple," said the Air goddess.
"A mix between human and Infinisapien I believe," said the Earth god.
"But not any hybrid. It is a temporary form," said the goddess of Shadow, who was the wisest of the gods, "And this is not any hybrid. Is our old friend, Overdrive."
This got their attention, especially the fire god. There was a dent on his helmet, courtesy of a six year old Infinisapien. Elena just stared at them, unimpressed. Her smile had vanished, and her eyes were nearly blank of emotion. To the gods, even to Overdrive, it was as if her presence was unnoticeable.
"Let's cut to the case," said Overdrive, "I need the help from you, Fire God."
"You come here, asking a God for help?" asked the god of Fire, "The Idol Hunter? The destroyer of Gods?"
"Destroyer of fake gods," said Overdrive, "But I have not come here in this form to discuss my past. I am here because I have come from the Infiniverse's future in order to set the past events in order."
"The Infiniversal Timeline!? Are you and your partner mad!? I have no idea how you got access to it, you know how dangerous it is!? Only the most powerful beings can travel through it, and only with permission!" yelled the Light god.
"We know this already," said Elena, "And we have a limited amount of time. The timeline doesn't stop, so if we don't hurry, the future will come to pass, and we won't be there to stop the calamity that will come."
"We need the Fire gods power, well, all the power of the Blaze across the Infiniverse," said Overdrive, "Power enough to challenge match a member of the three major races."
"That is madness. What could need enough power to match a member of your species?" said the Earth god.
"I need a weapon. A blade. One that holds the power of ten Phoenixes, ten Ancient Dragons, and Fire Diety," said Overdrive.
"A weapon that is ten times stronger than me!?" yelled the Fire god, "It can be done... but..."
The other gods felt a bit uneasy. But with their powers and wisdom, they were sure that we weren't going to use such a weapon against them.
"But what?" asked Overdrive.
"First, Overdrive, son of Hellen and Alvero, you must pass the Trial Of The Flame," said the Fire god.
"And what is the trial?" asked Elena.
"The trial is a duel. Between me, the God Of Fire, against an Infinisapien Hybrid," said the Fire god.
"And how do we determine the winner?" asked Overdrive.
"It is not to the death. It is until the opponent gives in," said the Fire god.
"Then, I shall accept the duel," said Overdrive.
The other Gods nodded in acceptance. And soon a portal opened under Overdrive and the Fire god, and the two opponents then found themselves falling in the air.
"What the-" said Overdrive, he looked down and saw that they were falling down into a version of Earth. Apparently the fight was gonna be across universes.
"Prepare to lose!" yelled the Fire god, as he transformed himself into an Ancient Dragon, that is stronger than a phoenix. (An Ancient Dragon is different from a normal dragon when it comes to power and abilities. An Ancient Dragon is twice as strong as a Phoenix and has the same abilities, and a Phoenix is stronger than a regular dragon.)
Overdrive then used his power to fly at high speeds towards the Fire god. The two opponents locked in combat. Overdrive using his strength to drive the god down. He punched it in the head, pushing towards the ground faster.
The god in dragon form then looked at Overdrive, and his mouth began to expel heat, and soon a stream of white flames shot towards Overdrive, who tried to block them with an energy shield. The shield broke and Overdrive was sent towards the ground at great speeds. He crashed into the streets, which had few people. Next to him was a massive windowless building. Many of them ran in panic as they saw Overdrive and the Fire god that was flying down there.
The Fire god was covered in flames and went head first towards Overdrive. Overdrive manipulated space to cause the god to swerve to the right, making him crash through the top of the windowless building.
"Stop fighting," said Overdrive, "I have more abilities than you!"
"Never!" yelled the Fire god, flames coming out of his mouth, "I will win!"
Overdrive and the god charged at each other, and Overdrive managed to dodge the gods bite, and retaliated by punching the Fire god right through reality. The two of them then fell into a neighboring universe.
The two crashed right into a small house in a town. They kept fighting each other at full strength, each opponent fighting each other with raw, untamed power. Overdrive was then blasted through buildings, until he crashed into a large building, which had a banner on it resembling a fairy.
The Fire god then crashed into Overdrive, pushing the opponents across hundreds of dimensions at once. Overdrive saw a stream of colors until they landed in another universe. The opponents crashed into a massive tower that had a sing on it saying The Tower Of Justice. As the opponents fell, they kept fighting. Overdrive crashed into the ground, and ripped the ground apart and bashed the Fire god with the concrete with enough strength, that the concrete turned to dust on impact.
"Take this!" yelled Overdrive as he grabbed the Fire god by the tail and smashed him into the ground. The Fire god quickly recovered, and smashed Overdrive into the ground with his tail.
The opponents once again found themselves falling across universes. They crashed through the fabric of space, and this was causing them tons of damage. Finally it stopped when they fell into a planet filled with forests and nature. Overdrive recognized the planet immediately. It was Mundo, the planet were Elena came from. It looked as it had looked before, filled with forests and thriving with life.
"You are getting distracted," said the Fire god, who was still in his Ancient Dragon form. He looked tired and battered. With his horns broken, and skin burned to the bone due to Overdrive's blasts.
Overdrive wasn't looking to good either. He lost his metallic shine, and lack his blue glow. His skin was also cracked, and showed bits of his human skin. Half of the Infinisapien skin had broke off from the face, exposing half of his human face underneath. His neon blue hair was battered, and his face full of bruises.
"I'll ask you again," said Overdrive, "Do you give up?"
"Not until you are on the ground," said the Dragon. Then the two resumed combat. Their attacks were weak, and their movements slow. After what seemed like hours, Overdrive landed a hit right in the dragon's head. The dragon panted heavily, and turned back into his Fire god form. Overdrive still stood, tired and gasping for air, but he was still standing up.
"I... I give," said the Fire god, and fell to his knees.
The two opponents were teleported back to the Elemental Temple. The other gods had been watching the battle amusingly in a hologram in the middle of the room. Elena had been watching as well, and quickly ran to tend to Overdrive's wounds. The Fire god appeared back on his throne, and looked at Overdrive.
"You have defeated me in fair combat," said the Fire god, "That means that I will aid you on your quest."
Then ten Phoenixes and ten Ancient Flame Dragons entered the room, being summoned by their master.
"There are my strongest followers, they shall help make your sword," said the Fire god. With the help of the gods, used his power to change the dragons and phoenixes forms. They took the form of a one edged blade. It's handle was dark grey, and the blade glowed with heat, like that of molten metal. The handle was the power of the Phoenix, made from their talons, and the blade was the power of the Dragons, made of their bones.
"Finally, with my power and the help of my other fiery servants, and help of my fellow gods, I gift this blade the power of a Blazing Deity," said the Fire god. His hands spewed out flames, that covered the blade. Soon it changed colors from a dull gray, into a blazing sword. With a handle made of molten rock, and a blade of fire. And like that, the Flame Blade was formed.
"We, the Elemental Gods, gift you this blade," said the Fire god, "May it help on your quest. And next time we meet, Infinisapien, we shall have a rematch."
Then they sent Overdrive and Elena out of their temple.
"Now that that part is done, let's head over to Flame's home world," said Elena as she opened a portal. She led the bruised Overdrive through and they arrived into Flame's Earth. Thousands of years before Flame actually. It was unbelievably cold. Overdrive realized that they were on the last Ice Age from Flame's world. In front of the two was a massive glacier. Despite the cold, Elena just stood there unfazed. Her dress, from when Overdrive reunited with her, had started as a fancy dress with gold highlights, and it was now nothing but a simple, sleeveless, white dress. She was barefoot, and she looked older than before. Her expression was gone, and her eyes were completely blank.
"Elena, what happened to you?" asked Overdrive.
"Time, for me time is short," said Elena, "This body will soon cease to exist, and I will go back to wherever I have come from."
"Elena... I am so sorry," said Overdrive, looking at Elena. The cold wind bellowed around them, and snow came coming down.
"There is nothing to apologize for. You did nothing to cause this. The Infiniverse decided that my life was going to end like that. You wouldn't have been able to stop it," said Elena, "Plus, it is nothing compared to the things I made you do in this trip."
"Elena," said Overdrive, "You should have led a happy life. Not, whatever this is."
"It is fine Overdrive. The day I was born, I knew there was something important I had to do. But my mortal body wouldn't be able to accomplish it," said Elena, "It was my destiny that attracted Morte. You were just there by change."
"So you can finally be at rest, let's finish this said Overdrive. Elena nodded, and the two walked into a crack in the glacier.
They reached the end, which was a tunnel in a stone. Overdrive stood in the center, and held out the Flame Blade. The cavern changed and shifted, until it resembled a dome, and a pedestal was right in the middle.
"This is for you Flame," said Overdrive as he planted the sword into the pedestal. The blade shone brightly, and the walls of the caver glowed. When the light seceded, the Flame Blade was now in it's pedestal, it's glow gone, ready to reignite when his master came to claim it.
"There," said Overdrive, he glanced over at Elena," What are you doing?"
"I hear something in my head," she said, "A prophecy."
"From who?" asked Overdrive.
"I don't know, but I must record it in the stone," said Elena. She put her hand against the wall, and symbols appeared on the wall. The depicted pictures of heroes, all with elemental powers, led by the hero depicted holding the sun. The other pictures showed a girl with a wind behind her, a girl with the tail and ears of a cat, a girl with plants, a half-man and half-snake, and a few more pictures. Representing Flame's first adventure in the future.
But there was a second story. The story was written in a stone slab in front of the sword.
"It is done," said Elena, who then started to shimmer.
"Elena? Elena!?" yelled Overdrive and ran to hug her.
"It's okay," said Elena, "My purpose is over. I left you enough power for the trip back to our time."
"Don't go!" yelled Overdrive. Elena hugged him, and smiled. One last smile before she disappeared, leaving the grieving hero behind. Overdrive looked at the stone slab and read it. It was in the an ancient language.
The Prophecy Depicted On The Stone Slab:
When the day of reckoning approaches, the elements will be awoken
The elements will follow their leader
He or she, who wields finds this blade and pulls it from the pedestal
The wheel of destiny shall turn upon blaze.
And wherever blaze, there shall be smoke.
And the enemy will see the smoke.
Beware! For the two sisters shall destroy all!
And with them, calamity shall come.
Elements will not be enough.
The one with blaze and eight more heroes shall rise!
This heroes, charged with a destiny!
They shall change the future! Or perish in their quest.

7,000 Later In Flame's World
A boy with a sky blue hoodie entered a cave, after feeling a weird force telling him to go in. He walked down the tunnel, looking at the images on the walls, depicting many pictures.
"What is this place?" he asked himself. He then heard a female voice coming from the end of the tunnel.
"Pull the blade, warrior of blaze," said the voice.
"What? Who's there!? What sword!?" said the boy looking around in fear, trying to locate the origin of the voice.
"Do not fear, warrior of blaze, come to the end of the tunnel," said the female voice. The rood the tunnel lit up with red runes that provided light. At the end of the tunnel was a brightly lit dome-shaped room. In the middle was a blade with no color. It looked old, but the blade was still sharp.
"Oh, that sword," said the boy, "Why should I?"
"It is your destiny," said the female voice.
"That didn't answer any questions," said the boy.
"You are the Warrior Of Blaze. And that is your sword," said the female voice.
"Oh... umm. Okay then," said the boy. He pulled the sword with two hands. As he pulled it out, a fire started all around him, and it covered him and the blade. Finally, he pulled it out. It had changed colors; nor looking like heated metal. The boy's eyes turned orange.
The boy fell back, and into a deep sleep.
When he got up, the sword was gone, and the pictures on the walls were gone as well.
"Was that a dream? Huh, weird," said the boy. He checked his watch.
"WHAT!? 9:00 PM!?" yelled the boy in fear, "I got to get home!"
They boy ran out, not forgetting any details of the room, including the pictures. The only thing he missed was a small stone slab in front of the pedestal for the sword.
