The Future Of The Corruption Arc

Overdrive was blasted through buildings until he crashed into the streets below. People were running away from the battle that was tearing their planet apart. The massive Alpha League base could be seen in the distance, going up in flames in the place where it had crashed into the planet.

Overdrive slowly got up. His black metallic skin was cracked, and his blue glow was gone. He looked up to see Genos walking towards him. But this was not the Genos he knew. This one was covered in dark red flames. On his head there wear two dark horns, and a halo made of black metal. Two wings were on his back, one of a demon, and one of a fallen angel. His cybernetic parts had all turned into red metallic scales that seemed to shift.

"Overdrive," said Genos, a look of fury spread across his face. His glowing red eyes filled with anger.

"Genos. Come on! This isn't you," said Overdrive. He dodged just in time as Genos punched the ground where he had been standing. In midair Overdrive felt as Genos suddenly punched him in the face. His metallic skin cracked and sank in as he was blasted into the concrete. He got up slowly, looking tired. Without his full power, he stood no change of surviving the incoming attacks.

"Twilight Incinerate!" yelled Genos as he pointed his hands at Overdrive. A blast of light and darkness blasted towards Overdrive, who attempted to block it with a shield, but the shield immediately shattered and Overdrive was sent back.

"Come on Genos," said Overdrive wearily. "We are friends. Don't you remember?"

"Oh, I do remember. BUT IT CHANGES NOTHING!" yelled Genos as he pointed his hand at Overdrive and fired.
