(Gavin's Perspective)

I'm so tired. And what's funny is, there is hardly any Alphas around. I never saw one, or met one. I dont think they really exist. I mean, I'm beta, I can clame a mate, and at the same time, I dont have to. "Maybe you should move away." My buddy, Nolan says. "Nahhh." I answer. Suddenly, I notice a female fall out of a tree. She lands on her legs. Perfectly fine. She looks very tough. "I know about her. She is a rare alpha female." Nolan says. "Really? She can clame mates?" I ask. She must've heard me. "You want me to clame a mate?" She asks. "No." Nolan says. "I'm Lilly. I'm an alpha. You guys are....?" She asks. "Nolan, I'm an omega." Nolan answers. "I'm Gavin.......I'm beta.' I say. "Cool! I never met a beta before!" Lilly says with a smile on her face. The corners of my mouth curled into a smile. I almost never smile. But when I do......the tables turn. "What kind of fuckery is this!?!?" Nolan asks. "What?" I ask with a goofy grin. "Not everyone can make Gavin smile on the first try of meeting him!!" Nolan says with shock. "I must be special then." Lilly says while laughing. I chuckle. I dont understand what is wrong with me. Nobody except her has made me smile. "So.....someone wants to be my mate?" Lilly asks. I look annoyed. "Seriously, bruh???" I ask. "I'm joking.....I've been looking for a mate since I was 8 in fox years....never found a perfect mate. I'm almost 15 in fox years." Lilly says to us with a frown. "I think its because nobody likes alpha girls." Nolan says. "Yeah....I dont get why they wouldn't like you. You seem pretty cool!" I say with enthusiasm. Nolan looks super confused because he doesnt understand what is happening. "Lilly, teach me your ways...." Nolan says. "Ah...be weird." Lilly says. "Lilly!!! We gotta get going!!!" Yelled a voice. "I'll see you guys around. Later!" Lilly says as she runs. Nolan and I decide to follow. "So, alpha bitch..you got a crush?" The voice asks. "No. I do think Gavin, the beta seems pretty cool." She says. I blush alot. Not alot of people ever say things like that about me. Never once.
