Brant POV

When Emma told me, she has been summoned by the Alpha King I was a little irritated because he is unmated, and we are newly mated. Our bond isn't as strong as mates who are together a lot longer so I'm not happy, it's not that I don't trust her because I do, it's him who I don't trust, Alpha King or not. She has been spending a lot more time with me since she got the summons which I'm thrilled about because we both have been busy, so I like the sudden surprises she comes up with or the sudden kidnaps.

We haven't mated since her and Rocks time in the forest and I gotta say, I don't know if I can wait any longer. Every time I see her, I just want to rip her clothes off and devour her entire sexy body. I plan on doing just that tonight because she leaves tomorrow and will be gone for at least a month, she got another letter stating how long she is needed at least a minimum of a month until she isn't needed any longer.

I set up a romantic date under the stars in the forest at a tall and beautiful waterfall with trees all around its kind of like a barrier to give privacy. I have lights around a few to give it a glow, I know it will look beautiful against her tanned skin. I told her to wear casual clothes because I want her to be comfortable. I don't care what she wears honestly because she can wear rags and she will still be the most beautiful woman in the world.

I heard our bedroom door opening and I saw her walk out of the room and down the hall. She smiled when she saw me and wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me softly.

"Hi sweetheart." She said smiling up at me.

"Hi darling. Ready to go?" I asked taking her hand and she nodded.

We walk out of the suite and go down the stairs. People from the pack greeting us as we pass, and we return them as we walk.

I put an arm around her back and lean down and put my other arm around her legs and pick her up and carry her to the forest. She lays her head on my chest and I smile at her contact. She has been showing a lot of affection lately and I am alright with that. I will miss her so much when she leaves. I wish I could go with her, but I know I'm needed here to take care of things.

When I get to the spot, I put her down gently on the blanket that is on the ground. She looks around at everything with a huge smile on her beautiful face.

"Oh Brant, it's lovely." She said looking up at me with a sparkle in her eyes.

"I'm glad you like it darling. I made all your favorites as well, with no help by the way." I state proudly as I take containers of food from the basket.

"For the first course, we have...chicken parm." I said and took the lid off the container revealing the steaming food. I hand her the food and a fork. I take the other one out for myself. We sat and ate and talked about light topics and when we were finished, I got out two more containers.

"And here are chocolate covered strawberries but it's not just normal chocolate. We have raspberry flavor with drizzled chocolate, white chocolate with hazelnut drizzled, also strawberry champagne to compliment the dessert."

"Wow this is amazing, I haven't had these in forever. How did you know this is my favorite dessert?"

"I asked Aaron. I wanted this night to be all about you and that is what I plan on doing, making it all about you and what you desire and need." I said a little huskily toward the end.

She blushes and picks up one of the strawberries to take a bite but before she can, I take it out of her hand and put it toward her beautiful sweet mouth. She closes her eyes and takes a bite and moans softly.

I bit my lip and kissed her taking her breath away. She wraps her arms around my neck, and I lay us down on the blanket and kiss her softly while I trace her arm with my fingers lightly.
