After what felt like days of preparation the training field was finally set up for the party. In usual werewolf fashion, a bonfire and picnic were in place. A stage sat at the front of the field where Alisa and Lindsay would take their oath as Beta and Gamma Females. In our world your mate was just as important as you. We made no distinction between the roles. If you were a Beta your mate was as well and the same with the Gamma.

The pack members who had recently found their mates would also take an oath, as they would now call the Crescent Moon Pack their own. Their loyalty would be to us and our allies. We had many different pack members come and go thru the years and these parties forged a bond where we would all become one family.

Family members of other packs were allowed to attend as long as prior approval was given. Unfortunately, you never know who the Moon Goddess would pair you with. Therefore, on occasion we were unable to allow enemy pack members to invite their families. In these cases my Dad and Mom, Former Alpha and Luna, would stand in to support the new member in lieu of their families. This never actually causes any issues, much to an Alpha's relief.

In order to keep the schedule coordinated we have our ceremony followed by the picnic and bonfire respectively. Alcohol was not a stranger to wolves and the structure made things easier.
While the ceremony was always a semi formal occasion, the picnic and bonfire was as relaxed and fun as you would expect. I didn't demand a formal air from any of my pack members except during these ceremonies. You should always take your duty within the pack seriously during a swearing in ceremony.

The ladies were off to get ready along with so many of the future members of our pack. I walked around ensuring everything would go as planned. I checked the patrol stations making sure security was tight.

Alpha Carter had called in a couple of his strongest pack members to reinforce our borders. All the security was a precaution, mostly unnecessary. However, considering we had diminished his pack by more than couple a dozen members in our mating process, I would allow whatever procedures he deemed necessary.

I respect Alpha Carter as my own family. He is a strong leader and the proof was in the three girls who recently wiggled their way into all our hearts. Several of my own members were set to join his Red Moon Pack as well, considering they had been paired with his people as well.

As I took the stage to address the crowd before me, I scanned the faces of my pack members and guests. Pride shined in my eyes at the emotion within their features. A beautiful family and a beautiful life. I was blessed beyond rational measure.

"Good evening members and guests. Today we celebrate the union of so many newly mated couples. Among them, our Beta Alex and Gamma Efran." I spoke.

Applause and cheers filled the cool night air.

"We will start with the introduction of our Beta. Alex please step forth." I announced.

"Beta Alex, it is with extreme pleasure we congratulate you on finding your mate. As my second in command you hold the respect of each individual who stands as a witness to your    oath. Please introduce your mate and usher her in as the new Beta Female to the Crescent Moon Pack." I instructed.

Alex stepped to the podium where I flanked his right. I was so proud of my brother and Beta. This was everything I could hope for in his life.

"Hello Crescent Moon family and guests." He howled into the microphone.

"It is my distinct pleasure to announce my beautiful mate Alisa Kingston of the Red Moon Pack!" He belted with pride.

Alisa walked up the stage and joined Alex at his left side.

"Alisa Kingston, as The Beta Female do you promise under the authority of the Moon Goddess to lead the Crescent Moon pack with honor, diligence and respect?" Do you vow to selflessly protect your Alpha and pack members with the convictions of truth, justice and humility? Do you willingly offer your service even if by doing so you sacrifice life? Do you accept your position as not only The Beta Female of the Crescent Moon Pack but, as my love, my other half and my mate?" Alex questioned.

"Yes!" Alisa beamed.

Alex took the knife from the ceremony table and sliced his right palm before handing the knife to his beloved. Alisa held the knife, with no hesitation she sliced her right palm and pressed it against Alex's hand. Solemnly swearing before the Moon Goddess to accept her position to Alex with her actions.

Alisa then turned to me and handed me the same knife. I cut the palm of my left hand and returned the knife to Alisa. She sliced the palm of her left hand and held her palm towards me. As I pressed my palm against hers I spoke.

"Beta Alisa Kingston, welcome to the Crescent Moon Pack." I stated in my Alpha tone.

The crowd howled loudly under the blanket of stars that protected the moon.

Once the crowd silenced, I called Gamma Efran to the stage.

"Gamma Efran, it is with extreme pleasure we congratulate you on finding your mate. As my third in command you hold the respect of each individual who stands as a witness to your    oath. Please introduce your mate and usher her in as the new Gamma Female to the Crescent Moon Pack." I instructed.

Efran proudly stepped to the podium where I flanked his right. His smile was contagious as he beamed with confidence and power.

"Good evening Crescent Moon family and guests." Efran spoke.

"It is my undying sentiment to announce my sexy and fabulous mate Lindsay Clayton of the Red Moon Pack!" He smirked.

Lindsay bounced up to the stage and joined Efran at his left side.

"Lindsay Clayton, as The Gamma Female do you promise under the authority of the Moon Goddess to lead the Crescent Moon pack with honor, diligence and respect?" Do you vow to selflessly protect your Alpha and pack members with the convictions of truth, justice and humility? Do you willingly offer your service even if by doing so you sacrifice life? Do you accept your position as not only The Gamma Female of the Crescent Moon Pack but, as my love, my other half and my mate?" Efran winked.

"Hell Yes I Do!" Lindsay squealed.

Efran took the knife from the ceremony table and sliced his right palm before handing the knife to his mate. Lindsay held the knife, with pride as she sliced her right palm and pressed it against Efran's hand. Solemnly swearing before the Moon Goddess to accept her position to Efran with her actions.

Lindsay then turned to me and handed me the same knife once again. I cut the palm of my left hand and returned the knife to Lindsay. She sliced the palm of her left hand and held her palm expectantly towards me. As I pressed my palm against hers I spoke.

"Gamma Lindsay Clayton, welcome to the Crescent Moon Pack." I stated in my Alpha tone.

The crowd again cheered and wolf whistled towards our newest Beta and Gamma Females.

I moved to the front of the podium as Alisa and Lindsay now stood at their mates right sides. Accepting their positions as mates and ranks within our family.

I addressed the crowd again.

"Would every new member please stand before me with your mate at your left or right side respectively?" I requested.

Your right side is for your female mate and the male will always formerly stand at your left.

Each new couple stood at the front of the stage in a straight row. I stood proudly, repeating the oath as with the Beta and Gamma couples and pledged my blood oath to each pair as we accepted each new member into our pack. After we finished each blood bond, as is tradition, each mate switched sides.

I stood once again at the podium to dismiss the ceremony.

"Thank you all for attending today as we accepted our newest pack members. As your Alpha I could not be more proud." I stated.

"Before we dismiss, Alivia could you please join me?" I politely requested.

Alivia gracefully ascended the stage and her beauty radiated at my side.

"Crescent Moon, I would like to introduce you to my mate and your future Luna, Alivia Kingston of the Red Moon Pack." I spoke with conviction.

The crowd exploded with applause and howls of joy!

"We will hold her Luna Ceremony two weeks from now!" I confirmed.

As I released my Luna, I dismissed the crowd for the remainder of the party.

Once again we enjoyed the night, partaking in food and drinking. The younger wolves played in the fields while the older wolves watched over them.

The bon fire was lit and music filled the midnight air as we celebrated the joining of lives for our pack members.

We partied well into the early morning. As we all began to show exhaustion we decided to call it a night.

I looked at Alivia and noticed she was almost dead on her feet. I lifted her up in my arms and kissed her forehead with my lips.

"Little Kitten are you ready for bed?" I whispered.

"Mhmmm" she softly replied.

"Ok baby let me tuck you in." I promised.

I carried her up to the Gamma suite.

"Demetri?" She asked.

"Yes, sweetheart?" I replied.

"I was wondering if I could sleep in your room?" She asked.

Smilingly widely I turned around on my heel and headed to my Alpha Suite.

I gently laid Alivia on the bed and walked to my dresser to pull a t-shirt out for her to sleep in. I went to the bathroom to give her privacy to change and get ready for bed.

As I exited the bathroom I saw Alivia snuggled up in my blankets, on my side of the bed.

I laughed quietly as I pulled my shirt off and discarded it on the floor. I slipped in the bed beside her, wearing my black pajama bottoms. I eased her over to what would now be her position in our bed.
