Recap:

Stephanie and Radiance got in a fight. Radiance is hurt and losing lots of blood. Stephanie is put in dungeon awaiting whats going to happen to her.

(Radiance's POV) 

"Come on, sweetie. Wake up." I hear the voice somewhere in my distant mind. It's calling out to me, but I don't recognize who the voice belongs to. I try to force my eyes open, but my eyelids feel like sand bags. To heavy. 

"Radiance, you need to wake up." The voice is back, filling my mind. My thoughts drift away from the voice and what has happened to me. I can't feel anything. I concentrate on trying to move. I squeeze my eyes close and try to wiggle my fingers.

"Baby, can you hear me?" As soon as I hear his voice, my body erupts in tingles. Some of the feeling in my body coming back. I continue to try and wiggle my fingers. "Yes, baby, keep going. Open your eyes." He clasps my hand and gives it a little squeeze.

I open my mouth to speak, but nothing comes out. 

"Keep going, Angel. You can do it." 

I keep trying to speak. "N-n-" Sound start to come out. "Noah?" 

"Yes, Angel, it's me. Wake up, Angel." 

I squint my eyes open and as soon as I do, a massive light blinds me. "The lights--" 

"Elise, could you turn the lines off?" Noah speaks. 

As soon as the lights are off I open my eyes again. Squinting, I sit up, but am quickly ushered back down. 

"Take it slow, Radiance. You need to lay down." Elise says walking up beside me. 

"What happened?" I look down at my arm, which was connected to an IV. 

"Stephanie attacked you... don't you remember?" Noah asks, his voice filled with worry. I took a look at Noah. He looked... tired. He obviously hadn't been sleeping well. But, he looked fine yesterday.

"No, I... I remember. I just don't remember my injuries being this bad. I felt fine, but then it was like something happened and I... I was too weak to fight anymore." I mumble, almost to myself. 

"Noah, is it okay if I talk to Radiance privately for a few minutes?" Elise says, turning to face Noah. 

Noah seems to hesitate at first, but I place a hand on his shoulder, nodding at him. "I'll be back in a few minutes, I'll go get you something to eat." He places a kiss on my forehead before walking out of the room and shutting the door behind him. 

"Is something wrong?" I ask Elise. 

"Depends." Is her simple reply. 

"On what?" I ask curiously. 

"On how you feel about being a mother." 

I lay down in Noah's bed, my face probably showing shock and astonishment. "How? How could it of happened this fast?" I ask, remembering that we only did it the other day. 

"Radiance, you've been unconscious for eleven days." Eleven days. That was one week and a half. "It's normal for werewolves to know they are pregnant before an average human. Have you been feeling sick at all?" 

Just as the words left her mouth, I wave of sickness overtook me. Rushing up from the bed I run to the bathroom adjoined to Noah's room and threw up random contents. Elise held my hair back. 

"Although you can tell your baby is in there. You're not far along enough to decipher the gender. That will happen in about a month, maybe two." She says as she leads me to the basin to wash my mouth out. "I'll get you some water, dear." 

She walks out of the bathroom and grabs a glass that is sitting on one of the bedside tables and fills it with water from a jar by the bed. 

"Are you sure I'm pregnant?" I ask her. 

"Pretty sure, dear. When was your last period?" She asks. 

I trace my memory back and remember that I was supposed to have it last week. Running to the bathroom again I shut the door and check my panties. No blood. I could just be a little late, I thought to myself. 

[You and I both know that we feel different.]  My wolf chimes.

[Maybe, but am I ready to be a mother?] I reply.

[Dude, what do you think you were doing with Marissa?]

[Don't, DUDE, me. But, I guess you're right.] I shake my head. 

**Everything okay, Angel?** Noah's voice fills my mind, making me shiver.

**Yeah, everything's good.** I reply. 

**Can I come back up?**

**Just wait a few minutes, k?** I ask.

**Okay.** 

I walk out of the room to see Elise staring at me with raised eyebrows. "Do you not want a baby?" 

"What, no! Of course not! I just didn't think I was ready. To be a mother, I mean." I look shyly at the ground. 

"You'll be a wonderful mother. Would you like to tell Noah, now?" She goes to leave the room. 

"Actually, wait. Could you get Leanne? I don't think I'm ready to tell Noah just yet." I mumble. 

"You will have to tell him soon, though." 

"I know. I just want to tell Leanne first. Then she can help me tell Noah." I say.

"Okay, I'll go get her." 

As soon as Leanne walks through the doors I start to tell her everything. She agrees that she will help me tell Noah and with that I tell him that he can come upstairs now.

"What's mum doing here?" He asks as he steps into the room, shutting the door behind him. 

"We--well, I--need to tell you something. Leanne's just here to help me." I tell him with a small smile, hoping it hides the fear inside me. What if he left me? Come on, you know he's not like that, anymore. I tell myself. I was just psyching myself out. 

"NoahI'mPregant." I speak in such a rush I'm not sure at first wether he heard me. 

But as soon as I look up at him I can tell that he did by the look he gives me. 

We stare at each other for a moment. 

"Um, are you okay?" I whisper.

"Yeah, I'm just shocked. God, Radiance, this is amazing!" He comes up to me and wraps me in a bear hug. 

"You don't hate me?" I ask.

"What, no! How could I hate you?" He walks us over in front of the mirror. He wraps his arms around me and rests his hands on my still flat stomach. "It makes me so happy to know that you are holding our baby inside of you." Through the mirror we look at each other. I'm suddenly spun around and Noah places his lips on mine. "I love you, so, so much, Radiance." 

"I love you, too." 

"Which is why..." He says as he gets down on one knee. 

I let out a shocked breath as he pulls out a black case. 

"It's not what you think. At least, not yet." He murmurs as he opens the case for me to find a silver ring with a three small hearts in the middle. "Radiance, this is a promise ring. I promise that I, for now and forever, will love you. This ring promises that not now, but later, I will ask you to marry me. It also promises now, that I will cherish our baby no matter what. This ring symbolizes my  trust in you and your trust in me. But with my promise you have to promise me something. Promise me that you will forgive me when I do wrong, that through all our troubles and misunderstandings, we will love each other." He takes hold of my left hand. "Radiance, do you accept this ring, and all that goes with it?" 

"Do you even have to ask?" I say with tears in my eyes. "Of course I do!" 

We smile at each other as he slips the ring onto my ring finger, but on the opposite hand where my real engagement ring will go. When he stands back up he places a featherlight kiss on my lips. 

"For now and forever I am yours." He whispers against my lips.

"As I am yours." I whisper back.

A cough brings us back to the present as we see Leanna standing there with tears in her eyes. "Come here, my babies!" She says with extended arms. 

Noah and I look at each other before embracing her. 

"I love you my babies." She says her tears soaking into Noah's shirt. 

Noah and I murmured back an, "I love you, too, mum." 

"Hey, why am I missing out on all the love?" Mr-- I mean Dad, exclaimed in mock hurt. 

"Come here, Dad." I say with my hands spread out. 

"I'm coming, baby girl." He says as he embraces me. 

"I'm pregnant." I mutter into his chest.

"About time." He laughs.

I raise me eyebrows. "We're you waiting for this to happen?" I ask looking at Leanne and Mr Maxwell as they stand beside each other.

"Maybe" They answer in sing-song voices much like the way Noah had the other day. 

I roll my eyes. So he was his parents son.
