When I wake up I got out of bed and took a shower and got dressed and then I went downstairs to eat breakfast with the family.

When we finished dad got his stuff and we said goodbye to mom and Jake said goodbye to Jessica.

"Look after your brother" mom says.

"I will mom" Jake says.

We then get into the car and then we went to the Alpha's house and picked him up and we were off.

"Your son not coming this time Alpha?" Dad asks.

"No, his mate is close to giving birth soon and he doesn't want to leave him" the Alpha says.

Oh yes, the Alpha's son is gay and has a male mate and believe me or not, but his mate is an Omega, but he loves him a lot and is very protective over him.

As we drove to this meeting I put my earbuds on and hear my music.

When we finally get there we get out I could sense the aura of all the Alphas and Betas.

"It's ok, bro" Jake says "everything will be fine"

"Ok"

We then walk in I smelled something sweet and it smelled good.

"You ok son?" Dad asks.

"Yeah, I just smell something really good and sweet"

"And what is it?" Jake asks.

"I smell chocolate and vanilla mixed together"

"Maybe your smelling your mate" Jake says.

"Jake might be right, if you can smell something that we can't then that could be your mate" the Alpha says.

"Maybe" I take a deep breath "excuse me for a minute"

I then went to the bathroom and took a deep breath and tried to calm down.

"What's the matter bro?" Jake asks being next to me.

"I'm nervous"

"About what?" Jake asks.

"That I'm going to get rejected from my mate since I'm not a wolf"

"Hey" he turns me around to face him "everything will be ok and if your mate does reject you. I'll kick he or she's ass for doing that" I smile "now come on, dad and the alpha are waiting"

We then leave the restroom and rejoin the them and we walked into the room the scent was stronger and it was coming from this room.

"Mate" my cat yells.

"Where?" I ask in my mind.

"Over there on the left" my cat says.

I then look that way and I saw black guy looking at us, but he kept looking all of us.

"He seems to not find us"

"Our scent was mixed when we hugged our family goodbye" my cat says.

"Then I guess we'll meet after the meeting"

Just then the meeting started and they went straight to business.

When the meeting was over we all went to the hall where everybody was talking about stuff.

I was with my brother and my dad was talking to the other betas about stuff.

Just then I saw the black guy coming this way.

"Hello Alpha Malik" Jake says and they shake hands.

"Hello" Malik says.

"What can I do for you?" Jake asks.

"I would like to know who this is?" Malik asks pointing to me.

"This is my younger brother Link" Jake says.

"Nice to meet you" Malik says and puts his hand out.

I then take his hand and we both felt sparks with the touch.

"Jake"

"Yeah, bro" Jake says.

"Meet my mate"

Jake gasps "are you sure?" I nodded "we need to tell dad"

We then went to dad and Jake told him what happened and everybody was surprised to hear this.

"Is he really your mate?" Dad asks.

"Yes, he is" I said "when we got here remember that I said I smelled a sweet scent and it's coming from him"

"I also smelled a sweet scent when I got here, but I couldn't find out where" Malik says.

"Why?" Dad asks.

"My scent was mixed up with Jake's and mom's scent when I hugged them"

"That could explain it" Jake says "so what do you want to do dad?"

"I can't do anything" dad says "if their mates it's out of my hands. It's up to them"

"Maybe we should give them some alone time to let them talk" the alpha says.

"Alright" dad says.

They then left and Malik and I went to a room and we talked.

"So what do you want to do?"

"What do you mean?" Malik asks.

"Are we going to except each other or is one of us going to get rejected?"

He then sits on the bed next to me and takes my hand.

"I wasn't plan on doing that" I look at him "I except you as my mate"

I smile, but then my smile was gone "then there's something you should know"

"And what's that?" Malik asks.

"I don't have a wolf"

"But aren't you a werewolf?" Malik asks.

"Well, I was born and raised with werewolves and my father is the beta of my pack, but I was born with no wolf" I stop for a second "I was born with something else"

"And what's that?" Malik asks.

"Well, instead of wolf I have a cat form instead"

"I see" Malik says "can I see him?"

"Sure" I then close my eyes and I shift into my cat form.
