"Oh my god! Rohanna!" I screamed as I ran to her. She was covered in sweat and dirt.

"Is she okay?" Gracey asked.

"Why do you care?" I snapped.

"I...I.... Connor, go get some hot water and towels. Riley food!" Gracey said to them. They obeyed and went back towards the pack house.

"Rohanna, sweet?" Misty said bending down to her level. Gracey slowly came over and sat down next to me. I could see worry in her face. Why did she care?

"Avery I'm going to use my powers on her okay?" Gracey said and I nodded. Rohanna was a wolf again.

She suddenly turned back into human form after 5 minutes of being her black wolf. I noted that her right hand was ruby red like someone had dipped it into blood. Gracey grabbed her left hand and happiness spread across Rohanna's little face.

She seems to have aged during the shift. What had happen? I could not tell what had aged but something had there was too much crap on her face.

15 minutes later Connor and Riley came back. Connor placed the bowl of water next to me with the towels. The steam rolled off the water is swirls as I dipped a cloth in the water. I wiped her face and arms then placed the towel over her body.

She shifted again and a minute later she was human again. I saw the pain in her eyes.

"Babe you're strong! You can do it!" I said as Gracey pulled her hand away. Gracey had to pull her hand away as it was taking too much power trying to make Rohanna happy!

 "I can't!" Rohanna said. Her voice was more music like and smooth. What had this shift done to her? Did I change like this?

"We need to tell Ryan!" Misty said as once again Rohanna was a wolf again.

"Yeah!" We all agreed.

"But he can't see her like this!" I said. "Anger would take him over!" I explained. An Alpha will want nothing hurting his family!

"I think Avery should tell him!" Gracey said "Well you’re his 'mate'!" She sneered.

"Okay!" I smiled a sweet smile.

Ryan? I said through the link.

Yes Sweetheart? His deep voice rang out in my head.

Err... Don't come find me.... But Rohanna has shifted for the first time!

WHAT!? Why can I not see my sister?

She's in a bad way! It would make your wolf go mad! Please?

Okay! But... She should never have...

I know! She in a lot of pain so can you send the Pack doc out?

Yeah I will! Can you keep me posted?

Yeah as long as everyone stays out of the woods!

! I will tell them Miss Alpha female!  I could hear the humour in his voice but also worry about his younger sister!

Luna? A beautiful voice sounded in my head. It was soft and caring.

I was pulled back to the scene in front of me. Rohanna once again was shifting back into human and then wolf. This would go on for day like this. I shifted none stop for 4 days I think. My mother, Sister and father watched my pain right in till the end.

"Avery?" She moaned in pain.

"Yeah I'm here!" I grabbed her hand.

Rafela arrived soon after she shifted into a wolf again.

"How is she?" She asked me.

"Well.... She is shifting none stop. She is sweating and is in great pain. Also her right arm...." But before I could explain about the arm she shifted again.

"Is bright red....?” Rafela stated. "That is not normal."

"Yeah and we all have this...." Connor showed her the words that were on our arms.

"There are nights when the wolves are silent and only the moon howls..." She read out loud. I felt a sudden burn and Rohanna screamed out. "Oh my.... err I'll give her some of this." Rafela pulled out something that looked like an injection.

"What is it?" I asked.

"It is a mixture of Moonseed and Wolfs bane."

"Wolfs bane kills wolves!" Misty shouted!

"Yes yes it does! But mixed with Moonseeds it stops a shift Misty!" Rafela explained as she injected Rohanna with the mixture.

My heart rate picked up as I watched Rohanna.

Rohanna's POV

I felt something sharp in my skin but it was nothing to the pain that was going around my body.

I felt sick and tired. I wanted nothing more than to sleep but no I could not.

I drew in deep breaths of cool air. I closed my eyes but the pain was still there. Then... a sudden coolness ran around my body putting out the fires. It felt good like someone had thrown cold water all over you on a hot summer’s day.

I was too weak to stand up and I still felt sick.

"Avery?" I whispered.

"Yeah?"

"I can't...."

"Move? Yeah I know sweet. I'll get Connor to carry you!" I nodded as best as I could. The boy Connor picked me up after Avery had covered me in a towel and her jacket.

We all slowly walked back to the pack house where everyone was waiting for us. Avery stood by Connor and was holding my hand. Father and Ryan ran to me.

"My baby girl!" My father said to me.

"How was your first shift?" Ryan asked.

"Painful"

Avery's POV

I watched as everyone looked over Rohanna. She looked taller. What had made her aged? I was thinking of all that had happened when....

Rohanna screamed a high pitch scream and drop to the floor from Connor's arms holding her head.

The writing on my arm started to burn like fire. Me, Gracey, Riley, Connor and Misty screamed also and dropped to the floor holding our arms.
