{Eli's POV}

"Jax?"
"Here!"
"Evelyn?"
"Here!"
"Lilith?"
"Here!"
"Lizzie?"
"Present!"
"Well done, Lizzie!" Ms. Wright congratulated. "Liza?"
"Here!"
Ms. Wright continued with about 20 names until she reached mine.
"Eliana?"
"I'm here."
"Emily?"
"Yep."
"Alright, class! Now that most of you are here, we'll get on with the lesson!" Ms. Wright said excitedly. Science was not exiting. Ms. Wright was our homeroom teacher and science teacher. Yay. Note the sarcasm there.
Ms. Wright was ranting on about acid rain and other boring stuff. I decided not to listen. I looked around to see if I knew anyone in my class.
On one side of my desk, there was Emi. On the other was my (and Emi's) best friend, Jayda. Jayda had straight orange-red hair that grew quite long. I spotted three other people I knew in my class. Jax*, Evelyn* and Lilith*. Emi, Jayda* and I call them the 'Unique Squad' because nobody in the whole school has the same name as any of them. Jax is what you could call a 'pro' gamer. He's pretty good at video games, probably one of the best in the class, but he's not exactly a pro. He's a pro from within the class, though. Lilith has black, shoulder length hair and glasses. She's one of the prettiest girls in the class. Evelyn has frizzy, dark hair and is Lilith's best friend. Evelyn is also the best equestrian in the class.
