{Emi's POV}
"Eli, I need to talk to you." I hissed. Then I saw Liza. "Alone." I added.
"Okay..." Eli answered.
I yanked her away from Liza.
"I'm pretty sure that Liza girl has something to do with Derrick's murder." I informed her.
"No shit." Eli said. I gasped.
"Eli, you're not supposed to swear!" I scolded her.
"I know... But it's not fair that our parents do and we don't, so I decided I should try it out." She said guiltily. I snorted.
"Still, if Mom or Dad heard you say that, no shitty excuse would cut it." I told her.
Her eyes widened. "Look who's swearing now!" She laughed. I grinned sheepishly. "But I agree, I think Liza has something to do with Eliza and Derrick. Plus, take a look at their names. Eliza. Liza. Same name, but Eliza has an E. And Liza is very pale and her hair is platinum blond, almost white." Eli continued our conversation from earlier.
"See? I'm right!" I said.
Liza walked over.
"Watcha talkin bout?" She asked.
"Uhhhh, family stuff." I said while Eli answered "Homework."
"So which is it?" Liza asked, confused. "Family stuff or homework?"
"Homework." I assured, but Eli said "Family stuff." Liza raised an eyebrow.
"Umm, it's family homework!" I lied. "Homework we have to do with our family!"
"Yeah! It's for a... Project!" Eli joined in the lie.
"Okay..." Liza said. "Anyway, you know who I am, so who are you?"
"I'm Eli, short for Eliana, and that's Emi, short for Emily." Eli told her.
"Oh, nice to meet you, Eli and Emi. I haven't met twins with almost the same names before!" Liza informed us.
And I haven't met anyone with skin as pale as yours or hair as white as yours! I thought. I've also never met anyone associated with a murder!
