Aquaria was worried sick about her parents. She sat on her balcony, using her powers to melt the snow in the area around her. She was freezing, but she didn't care. She was watching for her parents.

As she watched, a beautiful light glimmered slightly through the storm. She could see it moving closer to the palace quickly.

She saw it disappear into the palace and she hummed.

"Princess Rapunzel!"

She heard Varian's voice echo through the palace and she gasped.

She jumped up and ran to meet up with him.

She tried to find where his voice had come from before going to check the family room where everyone had gathered.

As she ran in, she could see the guards at the other entrance to the room with Varian, Rapunzel, and Nigel.

The guards grabbed Varian were dragging him off as Aqua darted to him.

"Princess! My dad needs help!" Varian cried out.

"No! Don't hurt him!" Rapunzel called to them.

"Rapunzel! You promised! You promised!"

Aquaria ran and caught up with them.

"Stop! Let him go!" She ordered as she stood in front of the guards and Varian.

"Princess, he-"

"Did I stutter? Let him go, now!" Aquaria glared at them and they let Varian go.

He immediately ran to hug Aquaria who hugged him back. He cried into her shoulder and she frowned.

"What happened? Why are you here?" Aquaria asked with worry.

"I-I need Rapunzel's help! Sh-she promised that she'd help me with the rocks a-and now my dad is stuck in this amber-like substance and it's spreading! I- she won't help me! Y-you have to come with me! I-I have to save my dad! Please!"

"Varian, I'm so sorry. I want to come with you, believe me, I do, but I'm not allowed to leave the palace unless we have to flee to the mainland," Aquaria said softly and he let out a sob.

"Why will no one help me?! Y-you all don't care!" Varian pushed her away and ran off as he sobbed.

"Varian! Wait!" She went to run after him but the guards held her back.

"Princess, you can't follow him," Stan said and Pete nodded.

"No! Let me go!" Aqua struggled against him, not wanting Varian to be upset or to go out in the storm alone.

Aquaria didn't listen to anyone as she sat in the corner of the family room, feeling so guilty.

She hated that she was stuck in the palace, especially when Varian needed her. She wanted to help him, but she couldn't leave.

Then her sister gave the order...

"Evacuate the island..." Rapunzel said and Aquaria shot straight up.

"You heard the princess!" Nigel said to the guards and they ran out to start getting everyone off of the island.

"Aquaria! Where are you going?" Rapunzel stopped her sister from running out the door.

"If we're evacuating, then I don't have to stay in the palace. I need to make sure Varian is okay. You have to help the kingdom, but right now Varian needs me," Aquaria said as she pulled her arm away.

She immediately ran out of the palace, not caring about grabbing some of her things. She had to get to Varian.

She ran to the bridge and the Captain saw her.

"Princess! You can't-"

She ran against the wind and out of sight. She ran over her the bridge and when everyone went to follow her, a horse's straps snapped. The wagon slamming into the side of the bridge which caused a barrel to fly out, letting its contents spill out.

One of the guards jumped out of the way, dropping his lantern which caused the liquid to ignite.

"Everybody! Get down!" Steve shouted and Aqua looked back on for an explosion to blow her back.

She got up and looked over the bridge.

"Princess! Are you okay?!" The captain called over the gap.

"I'm fine! Make sure that everyone is safe! I need to find Varian!"

"No! Stay put! We'll-"

She ran off anyway, determined to make sure her boyfriend was okay.

"Aquaria!" Captain Steve shouted but she was too far away to hear him.

Aqua ran as fast as she could against the wind, which wasn't as fast as she would've liked.

She tried to use her magic to evaporated the snow around her, but it was too much.

After running for a while, she could see Varian's lab. She was so weak and the cold was getting to her.

"V-Varian... I-I'm c-coming..." She trembled harshly in the cold and collapsed.

Rapunzel sat beside Aquaria as she placed the warm cloth on her head.

"She'll be okay, your majesties. She simply seems to have exerted too much energy and the cold made her weaker. She may need to rest for a while," the doctor said to the king and queen.

"Okay... as long as she will be alright..." Arianna said softly.

"And as for you, sire, your ankle is merely sprained. Keep it wrapped and try not to apply too much pressure. However, do not stop using it or your muscles will atrophy. Just be careful and ice it," the doctor said to King Frederic. "I'm sorry I could not come yesterday to help you."

"Thank you, sir, and I'm sure there are many others in Corona in need of medical attention. I do not wish to hold any doctors from my people," Frederic said and the doctor bowed respectfully before leaving quickly to assist the people of Corona.

"She was trying to get to Varian... I couldn't keep my promise to him..." Rapunzel frowned as she pulled her legs up to her chest.

"Sweetie, being Queen will mean you have to make difficult choices between yourself and your kingdom. You did what any good queen would," Arianna said softly as she sat beside Rapunzel.

"But Varian needed me..."

"And your kingdom needed you more," Frederic said gently. "We have sent guards to check on Varian and see what happened to Quirin. For now, we will wait for any news."

"Are you-"

Aquaria moaned as she started to wake up, her body feeling achy. Her eyes fluttered open and she saw that she was back in the palace.

"Wh-what happened? Why am I back home? Wh-where's Varian?" She was worried when she realized that she didn't make it to Varian.

"After the storm cleared up, we couldn't find you. A lady from Old Corona brought you back this morning. You've been unconscious for almost two days. We were so worried about you," Rapunzel said and she hugged Aqua.

"But what about Varian? Where is he? H-he needed help! I-I needed to help him and Quirin!" She tried to sit up, but she couldn't.

"Aqua, you shouldn't be trying to move. I sent guards to find Varian. I promise, Varian will be fine," Frederic comforted his daughter and she breathed.

"O-okay... but I want to see him..."

"You will see him again, I promise. Now, we brought you some food for when you woke up." Arianna helped Aqua sit up in her bed.

"Thank you. I'm very hungry," Aqua said as her mother set the tray in her lap.

Pascal jumped over to her from Rapunzel's shoulder.

"Hello, Pascal," she said with a giggled and Rapunzel smiled. She loved that her best friend got along with her sister.

Varian was hiding from the guards who had brought everyone from Old Corona over to the island.

He sat in the entrance of a cave and looked at the sky as he held his knees to his chest.

"How could she just let my dad suffer? She-she was supposed to be there for me..."

He looked at his picture of him and Aquaria.

"I can't believe I trusted her..."
